 Over the fence, in a gated section of the Magical Mishaps HQ grounds, everything was quite. The perfect weather complemented the peace and serenity of the little green field. It was almost a heaven on Earth, but would the peace and quite of early spring remain so forever, especially on Easter? ----- As usual, Jabir had been preparing for a HQ holiday event. And this time, it seemed appropriate that the centre was to organize an egg hunt for the much celebrated holiday, Easter. Standing behind the gate, Jabir smiled as he scanned the entire field before him. The eggs had all been well hidden in various places - even those one would never dream of being able to keep things hidden within them. Presently Maggie emerged from behind one of the bushes, her face all smiles. She, too, had been taking part in hiding away colorful, brightly painted eggs for the hunt, and it was as fun, she was sure, as finding them. Brushing leaves and dirt off herself, the woman reached for her now empty basket, and made her way towards the tall mishap by the fence. "Whew!" Maggie began, laughing a little as she made her way across the wooden fence. "That's the last of the lot!" She said joyfully, beaming up at Jabir for a moment before turning to face the field. "I do hope the children would enjoy the egg hunt." "Same here." Jabir replied, smiling lovingly down at Maggie. Spotting a stray twig in her hair, he reached a long, slender hand towards it and gently removed it, before placing the same hand on her shoulder. "We've done what we can, let the children decide if they were to have fun, or not." There was no reply from Maggie - she merely smiled and nodded, and reached up to the hand on her shoulder. And waited.

Catherine smiled as she walked towards the white picket fence, dressed comfortably in a pink peasant shirt, a simple full circle skirt that reached above her knees, and blackand white stripped stockings. Brushing away her short hair from her face she kept her happy smile, looking over her shoulder waiting for her children, betting over she removed her stockings and shoes, lettign her bare feet touch the grass.
"Mama! You sure you're ok to be outside?" Aphrodite buzzed as she flew towards her concerned, looking down at her mother's belly. The wasp-child was wearing a pink long sleeved shirt with a white heart on the chest, a short white pleated skirt, and pink and white striped stockings.
"You think it's ok for the baby?" Her large yellow eyes diverted towards the small portruding belly on her mother. Though from the books she was reading she was bigger than she should be. "Mama I'm gonna be the best assistant ever! I'll help you out!"
Catherine laughed. "It's ok to go outside, I can't be confined to four walls." She smiled, tickling the wasp mishap. Looking back, she watched as the red wagon came wheeling it's way beside the plump witch. "...And you're doing too much.. and taking too many classes sweet heart. Art, Magical creatures, Pe, Magic, Math, English, Science, and soon Drama? And you're in two clubs! .. Now you wanna help me out at work?" She laughed a bit, smiling to her small daughter worried. "You shouldn't over work yourself, you're not even a teenager yet sweetie."
"But.. Mama I wanna be the best." She said confidently. "I have to be, it's what I expect from myself Mama, so I can have a good future." She smiled sitting on the white fence. Looking down at her tiny pink sneakers, she smiled a bit looking back up at her mother.
Following behind the wasp child was the young green dragon, basket in his mouth and dressed in a simple white vest, with holes in the back for his wings. "Mama! Mama! Wait for us!"
"Yeah!" Called a smaller voice as the other toddler ran behind the dragon, the yougn ice maiden dressed in a light blue t-shirt, and jeans. "Mama! Can I take my shoes off too?"
Catherine merely nodded, looking back out into the feild. "I wonder if anyone else is going to come?" She blinked, looking off to her other side spotting Jabir and Maggie not that far away. Waving towards the happily, she tucked her stockings away into her purse, and place her shooes inside the wagon next to the baskets.

Kay arrived in the field panting, as if she'd run the entire way there - which she had pretty much done. A slightly confused Delphine was tucked under one arm; chewing away on the bunny ears that had been perched on her red-gold hair earlier; and a woven basket, colored a rainbow of pastels was clutched in her guardian's other hand.
"Oh good we didn't miss it." Kay sighed with relief sinking onto the green grass and plonking Delphine down also.
The little mishap rolled on the grass happily as Kay caught her breath, getting her yellow sundress - with a happy little bunny on the front, covered in grass stains.
"Beh, Delphine, you're all dirty now" Kay sighed sitting Delphine on her lap, dusting the grass off her dress and putting the bunny ears back on her head. "Right then missy, this is an egg hunt, um you look for eggs and yeah."
Delphine merely pulled the bunny ears back off her head.
"Um, you look for pretty things Delphi!" Her guardian continued trying again without much success to get a baby interested in looking for eggs. Finally she sighed, "I guess it isn't much fun when you can't walk yet."

Kay looked up suprised as the little bat boy greeted Delphine. "Hello you" she smiled "looking for eggs to?"
"'Wo" Delphine said back rolling around on her mother's lap and ending up with her head hanging upside down to look at Aladon. She held the bunny ears out to Aladon, "Bun!", hey anything to get rid of the darn things.
Kay sighed and leant back, ok so Delphine didn't like the ears very much, but they were so cute! Suddenly she caught sight of something blue lying in the grass nearby out of the corner of her eye.
"An egg!" She exclaimed excitedly sitting up and clapping her hands gleefuly; almost dislodging Delphine from her akward position. She picked Delphine up and plonked her on the grass next to Aladon. "Look you two, there's an eggy over there!" she pointed to the tiny patch of blue. "Go on, go and get it!"
Delphine rolled over and flopped onto her back, who wanted to crawl all that way for something when there was an interesting person right here to look at? She studied Aladon with interest.

Nariko grinned as she pulled off her sneakers and socks, placing them inside the wagon like her mother. Picking up a basket like she was told she climbed through the fence, and ran towards the other kids. She stood out horribly against the bright green grass, her skin was stark white, her lips were a pale blue, and her hair was long and black. She looked like a doll. "Hi!" She giggled as she approached the wobbled legged-mishap and the bat mishap.
Catherine smiled, she waved to Kani and Aladon from where she leaned. Looking down at her son, Garreth she looked at him knowingly. "Garreth why don't you try out you new form here, it'll be good practice." She smiled, petting the top of his head.
Garreth blinked looking up at his mother for a moment. "Should I mama.. I might end up nakie!" He blushed, covering his face with his draconic hands. Sighing, he closed his eyes taking deep breaths. A warm feeling flowed through him, he felt so strange! Opening his eyes he looked down at his now human hands, though they still had the long draconic claws. His skin had a soft green twinge to it, and as he looked behind himself he spotted a small spiked tail... it's was better than last time. Looking down at himself, alright he was clothed just like he practiced. Wearing simple blue jeans and a simple t-shirt under his vest. "Did I do a good?"
Aphrodite smiled widely as she perched on the top of her mother's head. "Yeah kid, you did a real good."

" Oo.. eggies. Hee." The toddler giggled, petting Aladon on the top of his head sweetly. Wiggling her toes she spotted something orange out of the corner of her eye, and like a wild beast stalking it's prey she crept out into the brush pouncing the plastic egg. "EEEE!"
Garreth stared as Nariko pounced the plastic egg like a lioness. Clinging to his mother's side, her buried his face itno the side of her thigh.
"Happy Spring to you too." She smiled as she carefully climbed over the fence taking a seat next to Kani. "So what do you have planned for Beltane?" She smiled, as she herself thought of what she wanted to do.
Garreth followed after his mother like a lost puppy, sitting next to her quickly and hiding his face into the side of his arm, he was alway so shy around new adults.
Aphrodite grinned. "Hee. Hi Miss Kani, it's been a while since we last saw each other."

Kay glanced around at the other guardians and their children, things were certainly starting to look busy. "Hello! Happy Easter!" she called out to the others while making sure to keep an eye on Delphine.
"Buh" Delphine grumbled as Aladon handed the bunny ears back. She rolled over to look at her mother and gave her a look as if to say, "Hey even that kid thinks they're ugly looking."
Kay just sat for a minute studying all the other occupants of the field. So who were Mishaps and who weren't she wondered?
Meanwhile Delphine had picked up the egg Aladon had rolled at her, tentively she put it into her mouth on the assumption if everyone was making such a big deal about these things they had to be food. This was quickly proved wrong however and she spat the egg back onto the grass with a disgusted face.
"Beh" she grumbled and picked up both the egg in one hand and the bunny ears in her mouth and half rolled half crawled towards Garreth.
"Eggeh!" she greeted and dropped both objects infront of him.
"Delphine..." Kay sighed as she watched her charge try to get rid of the bunny ears again.

" I think the feilds here are alright, but I shouldn't suggest the forest, you know nasty things be there and I don't think they trees would like. From what I heard they're a little snooty." Catherine laughed a bit. "What ever you wish to do Kani I'm up for it."
Aphrodite looked down at her mother for a moment. Shaking her head she decided it was best to keep quiet about her mother bein pregnant.
Garreth nuzzling into his mother's lap happily, feeling same and warm in her embrace.
Nariko blinked watching the bat-baby tumble off into the grass, after placing her new find in her basket she toddled over towards the tumbling wonder. "O.. silly baby! " She giggled, as she held her hand to him to help him up. "We go look together?" She inquired, a large smile on her face.

Kay smiled shyly and sat a little closer. She didn't want to but in to much as it seemed to her the other two guardian's knew each other fairly well and had some catching up to do. Instead she contented herself with watching the children wander around looking for eggs.
Retrieving Delphine and her bunny ears, Kay plonked her down facing in Aladon's direction and put her ears back on for what seemed the millionth time that day. "Look Aladon is looking for eggs sweetie."
As the ears went back on her head Delphine let out a sigh of someone being forced to endure an immense trial.
Then her yellow kitty eyes spoted a patch of bushes over near Aladon where a red dot stood out against the green... the perfect place to get rid of the horrible headband she decided, and began to crawl towards them.
