Okay, this is the deal.
I'd like to have an avatar look-alike contest. But we have to look like EACH OTHER!
I was thinking I could put everyone's name in a hat that was going to participate and match you up... just like we did for the Secret Santas. O.o this could probably be handled differently.. but I was just thinking that it would work that way.
But anyways... if we went about it that way, I'd send everyone their person's name, and you'd have to dress your Avi like that person's. I know, I know.. that'll probably cost a lot. sad
I'm also trying to figure out what the prize would be. Probably a bunch of gold. Dunno how much yet.
But yeah... this plan is very flexible. I wanna know what you guys think... any suggestions? Would you want to participate?

a good way to handle matching people up is to have poeple eiher choose a specific person, or choose to be put in the random draw.
im kinda poor, (927 gold) but im in anyway.
that gives me an idea
since some people are poorer than others, when it comes to teh random draw, have to richer gaian copy the poorer, or since only one of the pairing is actuly buying anything, have the two of them pool gold for the event.

Mayhaps there should be a limit as to the articles of clothing that can be equipped. Such as a specific number, or, a specific gold value. No outfit over 5 articles and/or 5000 gold! Or some such thing. That's just an example (I only have 950 gold anyways xp )

also, where is the reward gold going to come from? not even the queen can touch the guild funds yet (last time i checked) so it will have to be provided by individuals.

At first i was wondering why you would think i have duplicates of my items, but what your sugesting is that we just swap clothes. the point is not to have a bunch of duplicates, but to have each member of a pair mimic the other by switching outfits. Note: One thing to watch for. Some items are only for males or females. I dont know how these matchings are going to go, but I bring up the time sweetnightmare dressed as the almighty spork. That and there seem to be more dudettes then there are dudes in this guild. But it all depends on who wants to be involved in the contest anyways.
Oh, and count me in 3nodding My only concern is that... well I'm not exactly comfortable just handing my stuff over to someone. Especially to those fresh to the guild. I trust maybe 3-4 people in this guild with my goods. No offence everyone else sweatdrop
EDIT: Crap, I cant get shockwave on this comp, and the good comp, well let's just say that'll be indisposed for a week's time. My top hat and pipe are trapped in my gaian home gonk

I had to replace the brown shirt with another one, the jeans with a different type of jeans. Is there an even amount of guys in this guild participating? Just put all of the guys in one hat and all of the girls in the other one. I'll participate, but I don't know if I'll be able to buy anything. And I trust most everyone with my goods. EDIT: Except maybe my slippers. My idea is that you can participate only if you have more than 250 posts or something like that. And about any prize, I THINK that meushi still has gold from the party that we had in the fall. You might want to contact her about that. Enigma- Am I one of those 3 or 4?

If anyone does steal anything, I'll Ban thier heartless selves Faster than a samurai can behead a hapless pesant. not that it helps get your items back, but it's an incentive for people who care about the guild to be wise.
