This is odd. I translated it and I got this:
Itoshi-Old enough (god it took me forever to find a translation for it)
Hito-Bandit

Thats what I got translation wise. but I might be wrong so Don't hold my word for the correct translation but those are what I got

Actually it means "Beloved Person" or "Important Person"

What I can make out frm my garbled Japanese skills is it's a message to someone who had left the persona (or the other way around) and the persona is telling that person to smile and to continue on living because he doesn't want to see him sad.

It's a beautiful song, really.

*chained_inside tries to translate Itoshii Hito... just the geist of it...*
*Japanese that can't be understood remains in Japanese*
*I think I need a better copy of the lyrics too*

Beloved, don't cry, show me your smile
I can see tears, I said "I love you" didn't I?

(That's why, that's why)

Beloved, it's ok, you're a bit sad, aren't you?
But, remember that while you're sad, I'm sad as well

(usobi... usobi)

Beloved, open your eyes, mada akecha dame da kanne
sono mama...sono mama...tte necha dame da yo.

Beloved

Don't say "for you I will die" instead "for you I will live"
Of course, it's the same with me
kono saki mo, sono saki mo.

More and more I love you(?), boku wa sono amatta bun de ii kara.

Beloved, Beloved

tatoe umarekawatta toshitemo, boku wa "kono" boku de iru kara anata mo "sono" anata de itene.

And it's the same for me
Absolutely, absolutely

Beloved...yukkuri sono me akete goran yo.
We'll always be together, right?

That would be fine

Well, they may have those dotty things, which can change the word, and sometimes in foreign languages, when words are paired they can mean a totally different thing. My handy dandy dictionary says hito is person, itoshii is dear or beloved.

there's a nifty little thread called What Is Your Favorite Miyavi Tattoos in this guild, and on the first page i posted every tattoo known to man on Miyavi with translations and pictures.

so, if that doesn't do it, i don't know what will...

I've always wondered how much english he could speak. I know he does engrish. But, does he actually try to speak the language? It'd be cool if he did.
