Rules

1. Be active

On top of us having lockdowns, we sometimes pick on random members and see if they haven't posted. If you joined this guild you must have seen the warning in the main page that says BE ACTIVE. We meant it. We don't want friends and family that forget about us, so either be active or quit. In any other case we'll delete you.
2. Remain respectful to others at all times.

I dont care if it's while debating, arguing, or insulting eachother's beliefs. There is no reason what-so-ever to insult someone else personally. Even if someone acts with hostility towards you, you should remain the smart one and not let it get to you.

3. Don't over-quote

No one likes pages full of people quoting eachother to the extent of stretching the page. So keep it to a limit.

4. Do not make unnecessary topics.

If there's always a thread to introduce yourself, dont go making topics saying "Hi, I'm new."

5. Be literate

We're not asking but perfect grammar, but we hate reading posts we can barely understand. It won't kill you to double check before posting, don't make youself look like a fool.

6. No bumping

It's just purely annoying. I understand you sometimes want to keep your thread at the top so people will reply to it, but there's other topics that are obviously more interesting and deserve staying on top so don't push it.

7. No Spam

Random topics are allowed, but not Spam such as a thread with the link to your personal page[I suggest making a topic for eveyone to post their links to that page], advertising your guilds, or threads filled with emoticons.

8. Make the tittles for your thread detailed

We don't accept Spam, so if yu make a topic with a tittle that sounds like it's Spam we may erase it by accident. [Example of a bad tittle: Read this]
If you do this we'll simply edit it to what we think would be a suitable tittle.

9. Do not steal

No articles, poems, songs, or anything written here should be posted in other guilds or anywhere else. If you take something that doesnt belong to you it will be treated like stolen merchandise and the consequences WILL NOT be nice.

Gothic Angels now has a site on Frapp and on MySpace
A map appears on both sites to see how many Gothic Angels we have around the world
Just press the banner below, and fill the information to get added to the map.
Remember to put a picture, at least of your avatar. And also put your name or nickname. And where it says "Shotout message" put your Gaian screen name so we know you're not a stranger and you wont be deleted.
There's also a forum there where you can post. and a small chat so we can all talk easily!
You can also add pictures of youself or pictures you just like to our Frapp website.
You also get your own mini webpage in Frapp, and you can add people from our map who are in Gothic Angels to your friend list, so they can appear in your friend map in your page. So click now and add yourself to the map!

Becoming a Moderator/Crew member

Who can be a moderator/crew member?

Anyone can be a mod, but not everyone is fit for becoming one. Sure it's a lot of fun getting to know stuff before other members and being able to organize activities, but it also takes a lot of responsability and sacrifices.

Moderators have to be constantly coming on, checking join requests, helping save up for contests, giving ideas on events, posting on every topic and also making sure all the members are adjusting well.

Moderators also have to be mature to a certain extent, they also have to prove this isn't just a thing to get into and then leave since a lot of people are depending on them. When you accept the responsability you need to be sure you will be able to come on frequently and take care of everyone else that depends on you without giving up when a little pressure builds up.

Another quality is being able to get around well, meaning participating well in conversations with others in the guild, getting along with everyone, being able to judge open mindedly who belongs and doesnt belong here, making sure people follow the rules, keeping topics alive, etc...

Of course, it isn't all work. It's actually pretty fun and easy once you get used to it. Organizing secret events, accepting and welcoming new comers,
being able to help everyone. It's a great responsability and a great honor too.

Unfortunately, it's not often we accept new crew members. But when we do open the jobs either because a crew member was deleted for innactivity or because they left, you can apply in the same post where the announcement for new crew members was made.

Why did my thread dissapear?

Because the gothic ninja bunnies ate it.

Why did my thread REALLY dissapear?

It was probably moved into one of our new subforums. From now on all threads will be moved into one of the 6 subforums if they dont belong here. But make it easier for us and just post it there.

But my thread doesnt go in [insert category here], it goes into [insert category here]!

If we moved it there, it's because it goes there. Check out the "What to post and not post here" in each forum for more info on where things go.

How come my thread isnt in one of the new sub forums?

Probably because it doesnt fit in any of the categories[and I dont mean by size I just mean it doesnt have to do with it] or it breaks one of the rules

Why did you make new subforums? Now no one will check my thread!

Ah, nonsense. The subforums are there so now it can actually be easier to sort out the threads. Now instead of posting your poems in the same place where everyone else did, you can post them in the Poetry forum. Now it'll be easier for people to look for certain type of posts they want to see too. And people will still post on it, there's not much difference.

How come the Crew Members have a forum for themselves only?

To talk bad about you guys.

I'll leave it up to your imagination. But it's also to organize plans to take over the world about new events for the guild and stuff like that.

Nope. Remember to read the what to post and not to post here sticky! It's really important. I dont think you're gonna want to post a long thread and then get it deleted for not following the rules do you?
