((Just a little RP to get some introductions going from my end. Join if you'd like It's open for everyone.))
Kami sat in a lowback chair thumbing idly through a name book as she gently rocked the newly purchased stroller full of baby crocodile. Another member to the household. She looked up from her book to check on the little monster as he slept. If it wasn't for the line of drool streaming from his gaping maw, he'd actually be cute sleeping in the deep blue seatting.
On her outting to get him supplies he had made himself quite the arch nemesis to all things chore related and in a fit of needing a break, she took him into the cafe below her apartment in hopes that food would sooth the savage beast. There was something to be said about the nasally French accordian music huming softly from the intercome as people of various social status tried to wow the waitors with how badly they could work the accent in the menu choices. Not long after their arrival had he nodded off and allowed her a few moments of peace.

"Kaaami!" That peace would not last long because she is given a hard slap on the back, the hand staying there as Toushin leans over. Behind those glasses is a happy pair of eyes coupled with a bright, wide grin, his long, unkempt bangs falling across his eyes. He was in that tell tale monkey suit of his with its jack-o-lantern shirt, long plastic weaving about on its own; one of his strange keepsakes.
"Whatcha doing? Whoa, hey, what's that?" And he tilts his head down as he sees that little crocodile in the stroller. "Holy hell. Look at those jaws!" He kneels down and it's noted that hanging off his back is his own little demonic companion: a very large, soon to be football player shark who glares unnervingly at Kami.
"I didn't know you were a Guardian! What's its name?" And like any curious person, he was ready to reach out and touch but then thought better of it; these fellas were prone to biting after all.

In a flail of bristling fur and tumbling book, she just about swallowed her tongue as the hand clapped down on her back followed by the boisterous greeting. The baby crocodile scrunched up his snout, and squirmed in his seat as well, equally as startled. He let out a groggy whine and scrubbed at his eyes with tiny scaled hands. Ready to turn on whoever the intruder was she goggled up at the familiar face.
"Toushin?! My god, you just about got snapped at. How are you?" She greeted in turn retrieving her book from the floor with a sigh hoping to settle her jouseled nerves. Upon his inquiry, she glanced up to the baby and gave a small shrug. "I didn't either. My son found him a day or so ago..Still trying to think of a good name for him at the moment." She quirked a brow and nodded to Toushin's little stow-away. Something about those eyes was unsettling, but out of politness, she shook it off and offered a smile instead.
"I'm guessing that you were claimed too then?"
The child had awoken thans to the conversation overhead and looked up sleepily to see Toushin better. Out of reaction, the baby leaned into the gesture, mouth open wide expecting a treat. "Ghaan!"

A laugh from him, obviously not too concerned that he probably almost lost some fingers. He slides up onto the seat opposite of her, grinning like the idiot that he is. Well, the idiot that he could be anyway.
"I'm good, good... Good, yeah, good." He nods, smiling at her now in a very sincere and friendly way. She was, after all, a good friend. A "Huh?" at her words, glancing over his back at the still glowering shark whose eyes remained fixated on her.
"Oh, yeah. Well, I guess I was. The little bugger destroyed my board and I vowed never to go surfing again. Don't let him scare you; he's just always unhappy."
His attention is caught by the whining baby, tilting his head down and the shark does the same. "Uh. I guess he's hungry? Got anything?" A glance to her, seemingly more than willing to feed the kid if she lets him.

Large ears canting back against her scull, the mixbreed tried her best not to stare back at the child, looking down to her own companion. Thankful that he pulled her out of the mild daze.
"Oh..! Auhm.. let's see what I have left here.." She picked through the remains of a salad on the table for the small cubes of ham they'd toss in. She frowned slightly at the findings but set what she could find aside, gesturing for a server. She looked to Toushin then back at the plate and gently offered the few scraps of meat.
"Would you care to try? Fraid I've had my quota of bite marks for the hour. You and your little one hungry?"
Smelling the food as it was being moved about, the baby wriggled excitedly in his stroller leaning to grip at the table cloth in an atempt to pull himself closer.
"Gnaa! Ghaan!!"

"Yeah, I might as well. Duras here almost continuously gets ready to bite my hand off each time." If she took a closer look she'd see that he had a few bandages on his right hand, but obviously he was not dissuaded in the least. The lion had to be fed, even if it meant he would get hurt.
So he reaches out to pluck a piece, and with ease -- no shaking of the hand as a result of nervous anxiety -- he leans over, holding the cube over the croc's face, just in line of his sight. He waits for him to open his mouth before tossing it down.
"HA!" And that's only if it gets in his mouth. If not, he makes an "Oops," noise before reaching for a fresh one to try again. If he has to, he directly places it in his mouth and jerks his arm back as quick as he can before he sustains a bite.
"Yeah, he's always hungry. He'll eat anything. Christ, I saw him eating part of one of my chairs. He really is like a shark! I bet he'd eat a license plate if I gave it to him."
And Duras lets out a groaning sound, muttering indiscernably, and albeit of drool comes out of his mouth; the numerous amount of teeth didn't help him.

The baby was watching Toushin's hand like a hawk. Stopping mid tug to gap his little mouth as wide as he could. The moment the meat was airborne and close to his face, the child snapped his jaws shut, giving a few follow up snaps to be sure that it was in deed inside his mouth. Happily bouncing his legs and swaying his rudder like tail.
Kami couldn't help but watch the scene with a little bit of unease, partially in reguards to how happy Toushin was about it and the children's different reactions. The many tiny rows of teeth sitting contently aside Toushin's head making her worry slightly.
"You.. don't say..! You can share those between them two. I can order more.."
She'd not raised anything so feral in some time and it amazed her how strong instinct was in animals so young. She glanced up to notice that her sentiment was shared by the server whom she had summoned. Though the girl had stayed a good few feet away and she couldn't blame her. To her credit, the woman gave her most pleasent of additudes and waited offering Toushin a menu gingerly and reciting the specials of the day.

He did enjoy it, especially liking how the croc' snaps up the meat with ease. Almost like a dog he mused to himself and laughed. He takes another piece and repeats, grinning. That was Toushin for you though; light hearted and seemingly care free most of the time. At least when he was around his friends.
"I think we should get more, yeah." He smiles up at the waitress, taking a piece of the ham to hand it to Duras who takes it in the flipper hand stuffs it into his mouth, slobbering as he swallows it without chewing, drenching Toushin's shoulder in spit.
"Oh come on man. At least close your mouth!" He made a face and for a moment looked green around the gills. Haha, funny because he has a shark on his back.
He takes the menu with one hand, the other wiping his shoulder with a napkin. "First I think we're gonna need a bunch more napkins and if you got some kind of bib or something that'd be great."
He flips through the menu, eyes skimming. "He seems to like the ham so uh... a nice big bowl of that would be great." One of his fingers points at a particular item, reading it. "And I'll take this chicken sandwhich here. No mayo though, thanks."
And again that smile as he hands her the menu. "A glass of Dr. Pepper would be fantastic as well!" To him this was just a normal, everyday outing.

The server wrote down Toushin's order nodding vaguely as she looked over to the pair of fourthwallers now and then. Kami nodded in agreement as she reached into her pocket to fish out a sucker and a lighter. She smiled warmly, her mind set at ease by her friend's carefree nature, she even had to admit that Duras was cute in his own way.
"I'll second that bowl of diced ham and augh just bring me a refresh on my drink if you don't mind." She smiled to the woman and slid the baby's stroller closer so that Toushin wouldn't have to toss the meat as far, not to mention cause such a scene. She sighed and picked up her book again thumping the edge of it on the table as she rested her cheek on her palm when the server moved off to get the order taken care of.
"I really have to think of a good name for this lil guy. I can't keep calling him 'lil guy' and what not. Any suggestions?" She looked hopeful.

He grins down at the croc', liking him already. He wondered if he was like human babies, if he would laugh and giggle if he made silly faces. Generally whenever he tried with Duras the boy would just give him that sour glare that froze his blood. He doesn't try though, but does give him a second smile before looking back to Kami when she inquires for his suggestion.
"Hell, beats me. I looked up words for him. His is latin for uh... s**t. I think it's blood. I forget now though." Sheepish expression on his face now as he shifts to allow Duras to unravel his tail and climb up to sit on his lap. The shark places his strange hands on top of the table and starts to pat it, repeatedly, the sound soft for now.
"Call him Gnah. He likes to say that."

She ponders this for a moment, looking at the baby as she tried the name on for size mentally. He was busy staring up at Toushin, his trademark crocodilian smile stuck on his face as he waited for more. Detecting there was none, he looked up to Kami and starting to make that 'quack' noise again. She drew the corner of her muzzle down in an odd face and shook her head.
"Mmh don't know if that would work. It's bad enough Kanoa thought he was a dog." She unstrapped the child from his seat and pulled him up into her lap. His noisemaking settled for the most part as he looked across the way to notice Duras seemingly for the first time. In reaction, the baby went still hoping to blend into the camoflage...of Kami's snow white shirt.

He had really meant it as a joke, but if she decided to take it seriously, then all that more power to her. He hadn't given him another piece, but was ready to when she plucked him so he gave it to Duras instead who repeated the earlier process of slobber and swallowing it whole.
"A dog? How could anyone mistake him for a dog?" He laughs, shaking his head and then rolling his shoulders in a shrug. "Eh, weird. Must never have seen a dog before. I dunno what to tell ya, Kami. I'm stumped myself. I had to search the internet for his name. Maybe you should try that."
Duras, meanwhile, focuses his attention on the crocodile, his mouth somewhat open -- as a result of his overload of teeth -- drool dripping slowly down as he stares with those glaring eyes of his. Even at this young age it was clear he was the bully and not the bullied. Whether or not he was trying to intimidate the other baby was hard to tell. He just opens his mouth and lets out a weird gurgling groan at him.

Seeing that his atempt to hide had failed the baby gaped his own mouth, though his reply was more of a spitting hiss. It was an odd hello but a hello none the less, he figured. Kami furrowed her brow at this display and ran her hand along the child's back scales.
"Nah, not alotta dogs around here. Then again, there aren't alot of other children when you think about it so I can kind of see why." One of her ears flickered moments before a couple of bowls were set on the table before them along with Toushin's sandwich and drink. The server had brought along kids play mats with crayons but if Kami had thought about it, she'd have asked her not to.
The baby's his was cut off by the smell of cold ham and his head turned as if connected to the bowl. "AHK!!! AHHK!!"

Duras gurgled again, maybe saying hello. Who knew though but it was obviously something at least somewhat friendly in that infant talk so that the crocodile baby wouldn't be scared. Maybe he saw a friend in him, who knew.
"Maybe. Thanks," he smiles up at the waitress but he is anything but flirtatious to her; just polite. He reaches for his glass to take a long swallow of its contents, smacking lips afterwards and looking down just in time to see Duras grab a few of the crayons and before he can stop him, shoves them into his mouth to unceremoniously eat the wax.
"Ugh... Come on dude." He grabs him by the arm as he makes a grab for the crayons again and instead guides him to the bowl of ham. "Just eat that. it tastes better."

The crayons didn't stand a chance in the ha--flipper of the baby shark and Kami could only look sympathetic. She guided her own charge to his respective bowl of ham bits and let him scarf the bits of meat at his leisure. If you could call spittle and shaking one's head and sending cubes of ham every which way leisure. A little past half way into the bowl and he began to slow down chewing more contently as he looked up to his dining companion. Looking at the brightly colored sticks laying beside him, he leaned down and scooped them into his mouth in a show of good will.
"Ohh...crap..!" She cursed grasping thre rest of the crayons from the table and setting them on an empty chair. She sighed with a shake of her head, "At least they're nontoxic. But my goodness.."
