Even Jezz's quick kiss did little to alleviate his embarassement, and he found himself avoiding the glances of any that passed his way. Hearing their laughter as he left had only made things worse. He was still trying to avoid everyone as he took his place in the lunchline. He shifted his guitar again, attempting to blink away the moisture in his eyes, but it simply flowed down his cheeks instead. It truly wasn't fair.
He found his thoughts returning to Sanzo, when they were standing in his room. Simply thinking about being so physically close made his pulse quicken, and a sudden fantasy flashed through his mind against his will. He bit the corner of his lip and forced the thought away. He couldn't like Sanzo. Not like that...He shook his head, his two-toned eyes troubled. He needed to find himself a girlfriend. Upon which thought, he let his mind drift to Jezz. At least she hadn't ridiculed him...

Sanzo came up behind Cyndir in line. He reached out and placed his hand on his shoulder.
"Are you ok Cyn? He was just ******** with you. Don't take him so seriously. Hell he was wearing a skirt."
Sanzo grabbed a tray and a plate full of tacos. He nudged Cyn with his elbow and skipped him in line.
"Come on, cheer up. Let's eat lunch together, no reason to be alone. I'll be over there."
Sanzo pointed at a table in the corner just outside the line.
"Don't go running away, I don't like chasing people around."
Sanzo walked to the table and took a seat. Immediately he began eating his tacos. He grinned with delight while lettuce and grease clung to his chin.

Cyndir caught a scent he knew, and he felt his heart leap. Before he could comprehend it, someone touched his shoulder and he nearly jumped out of his skin. It was Sanzo. He blinked and shook his head.
"Sorry Sanzo-san. I know..." he mumbled. He scratched at the back of his neck, not quite back to his normal skin-tone, but either Sanzo ignored that fact or he simply didn't care. At least he didn't notice that Cyn had tears in his eyes. That would have been mortifying. He got a tray, but decided against the tacos. He wasn't in the mood for them, so he got a sandwich and a bag of chips, then followed Sanzo to the table.
"I didn't mean to get upset. I'm just not...Ah hell, you get the idea, ne? And Ren-kun knows, he just takes every opportunity to make it worse. I know he's bi, but I'm not!" Cyn said. But no sooner was the denial out of his mouth, when he recalled the way he felt every time Sanzo came near him. He shook his head.

Sanzo crunched loudly while listening to Cyndir. He kept eye contact even though he ate away. He knew it would make Cyndir feel a little better if he just let him talk his ear off.
"Mmph, umhum...{CRUNCH, crunch, crunch...}"
He never lost focus on Cyndir, he was too cute not to give him his full attention. But he just couldn't put those damn tacos down. After a large gulp between tacos, he stopped Cyndir.
"I just love these ******** things, maybe I was mexican in a former life."
{CRUNCH, crunch, crunch...}"Sowwy...pwease...confinwoo."
He resumed his eating and allowed Cyndir to continue uninterrupted.

Gwen stepped into the cafeteria and looked around. She crossed her fingers and headed toward the line. Vegetarian option!! VEGETARIAN OPTION!she prayed and made her way through the line. She grabbed a salad and let them scan her card. She emerged back into the cafeteria and looked for a place to sit. In a corner she saw Sanzo again and another boy. It's worth a try. She made her way over, and blushing asked, "Hi, this seat taken?"

"Hey, it's you. Sorry about earlier, sure, you can have a seat. This is Cyndir, say hi Cyn, don't be so rude. And of course you remember my name, right?"
Sanzo bit another taco while the girl sat down.
"By the way, {CRUNCH, Crunch, crunch} What is your name? I left you before I found out."
He stared at the girl awaiting a response, still eating tacos. How many of those damn things did he have.

Having made his way through the food line, his face not extremely pleased, he sat down about two tables away from Gwen and the others, sitting alone.
He tok a bite of the "meat" he had acquired and grimmaced. "It doesn't taste like anything." he mumbled to himself. "I can't believe I have to eat this for two years until I get out of here."
Bored, pensive, and slightly disgusted, he swirled his fork in the soupy mashed potatoes, feeling like he had lost his once substantial appetite.

"Hi!" she said sitting down, "I'm Gwen...You're Sanzo..." she added as an afterthought. "You have an awesome tie!" she said, gesturing to Cynd's tie, which was exactly like hers. She began to eat her salad, now staring at the table, a bit nervous as to what Cynd's reaction could be.

"Don't mind him. He's a little upset right now so he might not say anything. Soryy we could talk when we bumped into each other earlier."
Sanzo wiped his mouth after his last taco and spoke to the girl. She must be pretty timid to just stare at the table like that.
"Now why don't you lift that chin, and put on a smile. A pretty girl should never hide her face. So, how's your first day been? It's been so long since I came here, I can barely remember mine."
Sanzo leaned on the table and gave her his undivided attention.

Micheal amazingly was able to overhear the conversation two tables away. It seemed to form a knot in his stomach. How he met 'him.' 'Him...' That person that he gave everything for. That person that he lived for. That person that he did everything for. Now... he had killed for him and was paying the price.
The knot seemed to twist as he listened further. It fealt so similar. He just wanted to jump up and tell the girl that she should run away or... or... no... He couldn't do that. There was no telling if they would become involved or even so to such a point that... Well, he wished he had his necklace.
He swiftly shot his eyes back to his tray, as he noticed that he had been staring at the one's having the conversation. He fealt a blush hint across his pale cheeks and he tried to pop his coller and hide it.

Reiku came into the cafeteria, sipping from his straw. He could go for a slice of cafeteria pizza, the stuff they were claiming as pizza in the student union was crap, and he refused to waste credits on it. But once got there he changed his mind. Grabbing a couple muffins instead he flashed his ID to the lunch aide working the register and made his way towards an empty table.
He passed by a particularly miserable looking blonde boy and hesitated. Obviously a newb. The look on his face spoke volumes. Without speaking he pulled up a chair and sat across from the kid, proceeding to pick the top off of his muffin.

((Sorry, but I've actualy already changed into my uniform. ^_^ Went to my room before this.))
Michael noticed the man who sat across from him, but he didn't really say anything. He didn't know what to. His eyes drifted a little, his head looking up enough to see at least some of the new person, though not his face.
He suddenly became extremely self-concious about himself. His knot had not yet subsided and his mind still dwealt on relationships past. He could already tell that this guy was attractive, and for some reason he fealt hostile towards him.
He did not speak, he simply stirred the undoubtably now cold mashed potatoes with apprehension.

Gwen lifted her head and smiled her best enigmatic smile. PRETTY?! she'd been called many things, pretty was not one of them. She blushed slightly. "How's my day been, you ask?" she said, "I'll help you remember your humble beginnings...I woke up this morning, after having been subjected to god knows what indecencies last night, and the first thing out of my mouth was vomit." she smiled again "I don't react well to medications..." she added as an afterthought. "How's your day been, I'd like to know what I have to look forward to..." she said smiling her smile again.

The top of his first muffin gone, he shoved t away and began to pick at the other. This time he stared pointedly at the boy across from him, making no pains to hide it.
"You know, if you want a decent lunch instead of the crappy leftovers, you should get in here closer to noon. Around now it's mostly reheated slop til dinner." He placed a piece of muffing between his lips, his head tilted ever so slightly
