Who's your favorite band American or Japanese? My fav band is definately Diru and my fav solo is definately Miyavi.

Well I really don't have favorites but I'll type the ones that I listen to the most.
Japanese: Dir en grey, Miyavi, Gackt, Metronome, FLOPPY, Kozi, Malice Mizer, The Candy Spooky Theater, Tokyo Jihen, Psycho le cemu, An Cafe, Buck-Tick, W, Polysics, hide, Aural Vampire.
American: Insane Clown Posse, The Aquabats, David Bowie, Mindless Self Indulgence, Gorillaz, Twiztid, The Bloodhound Gang, Blink 182, AFI, Vengaboys, Toy Box.
And that's about it xd heart domokun

As far as American bands, I listen to a lot, but I don't have a favorite. ^^; Though I'll say my favorite is Garbage. ^O^
Japanese: Dir en grey, Miyavi, Gackt, Malice Mizer, Moi Dix Mois, An Cafe, ALI Project. ^_^

My fav band is definately Diru and my fav solo is definately Miyavi. yeah same, my fav band has to be dir en grey and solo would also have to be miyavi..he is so cute! especially in the photo with the kitten. I dont listen to any music apart from japanese....not american, not european..nothing...

Dir en grey's my favorite band.
Uh, solo... I'm not really sure.
But of the two in the poll, I'll say Gackt since I haven't heard much Miyavi and Gackt is pretteh. (Not to say that Miyavi isn't...)

American: Slipknot
German: Rammstein
New Zealand: Shihad (these guys ROCK!! check them out!!)
Finland: The Rasmus
Fave Solos:
Japanese: Tie between Miyavi and Utada Hikaru
American: um...I don't really know of one...
French: Carla Bruni (My french teacher introduced me to her and I really like her music)
Brazilian: Lenine (he kicks butt!)
Fave Score Composers:
Japanese: Nobuo Uematsu (sp?) The guy who did all of the final fantasy stuff...
American: Danny Elfman for sure!

'cept I really like Karma Shenjing too.
So fav NON-indies band - Dir en grey
Fav indies band - Karma Shenjing
Fav solo.... do I have one?.... I like Kozi and I like Mana's 'project' XD
I just like bands more. XDD
