Any good Christian books worth reading out there that you'd like to share? Post them here, and maybe a little about the book if you like.
First of All: arrow The Bible
And then couple of good magazines: arrow Brio (for girls) arrow Breakaway (for guys) (I get the Brio one each month and it's very good)
Books:
arrow Left Behind (about the end times) arrow Babylon Rising (a very big thriller about the short time before the rapture, by the same author as Left Behind) arrow The Scottish Crown series (good medieval Christian love stories) arrow The Mandie series (I know their a little childish but I've read all 40 of them, their mainly for girls)

Er...I read the Bible, that's about the only Christian book I read.. It's the best though. Heh.
Other than that, I like to read R. A. Salvatore books...and that's about it really.

I haven't read most of the books, except for Narnia and Most of the Bible. Philip Yancey and Max Lucardo's books are what I'm gonna read when time is not needing me at all but the Bible is my main focus. The Gospel of John right now is my favourite, thats because I've only read it properly out of all the Gospels. I'm sure they are all equally good.

Ecclesiasties, Proverbs, Philippians, John and Jeremiah are my favourites right now. I'm starting to like Isaiah as well. Did you know the Bible is really symmetrical in verses from old and new. The middle is around Psalms. Something like that.

Meh, I wasn't too impressed with Left Behind. I thought that after book 4, it started getting increasingly stupid, like the writers were selling out. As for christian books I like, Wild at Heart is my current favorite.

Kederaji Tajorn Meh, I wasn't too impressed with Left Behind. I thought that after book 4, it started getting increasingly stupid, like the writers were selling out. As for christian books I like, Wild at Heart is my current favorite. Cool, I haven't heard of that one. I'll have to check it out. As for left behind, I kind of liked it. Babylon Rising is MUCH better though. And way more action in it. The main character is an biblical archeologist and he's searches for things that were in the bible, the second one he finds the Ark. It's not completely believable, but it's pretty good.

As far as studying our Father's word. I study the Bible only. Now I do cross study between the KJV, American Standard, Interlienaer, and a Strongs Dictionary. Sometime a history and science book on some things. I never had no need for those little books about the bible. Now I know someone will say that those books are helpful for people who have trouble with reading the bible but there is a problem. After you get done reading those books, you have to go back into the bible to see if those books line up with what God says. So you have to do a double the work.
Now as for christian books writen to entertian, haven't read any but love the movie Chonicles of Narnia: the Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe. Never could get into the Left Behind series. Mainly becuase it is based on the Idea that the chruch is removed when bibically it is not. That is basically the reason I don't care much for.
Now one of the books I love to read in the bible is the Song of Songs, AKA The Song of Solomon.
