Crystal Moon Lake
Looks: A beatiful Lake located somewhere on the edges of the Ancient forest. Here students who are linked with nature (Faeries, hedgewitches, Elves and what nots. The lake has many strange rare minerals inside the lake that constantly purify the water and sparkle about. Rumors have it this is where the Siren Teacher Ying Hua has hid herself away from Ria high, along with a young Faerie named Sakura. But those are only rumors, and rumors are never true neways huh? ~_^. This romantic location is one of the most beautiful places in all in the world of Ria high. Small orbs of light dance above the lake when the moon shines down on it. Legend has it that they are a rare kind of crystal, although they are impossible to catch. No one really knows what causes them.

"I can already tell we are going to be best of friends.." Kurai spoke out loud as he threw the black cloak over his shoulder and went to run ahead of Lin. Kurai then turned twoards her as he walked backwards. "You don't even know where your going... a Gurl like you could get lost!" Kurai smirked again as he said those words and then stood in his spot to let her walk past him.
Lin didnt seem to care as she continued forward. Kurai rubbed the back of his head. "Gosh what a stubborn gurl.." Kurai smirked and then followed after her. "Well whatever lets see where we end up." Kurai threw his hands into his pocket and watched her continue on.
"Can't a woman accept a man trying to be noble? Or Poliet? Snobbish gurl..." Kurai peh-ed and then looked up at the moon as he crumped his way down the path. Soon enough the two wounded up somewhere with a beatiful lake.
"hmm..." Kurai just grunted to himself as he stared forward at the lake. It hit him pretty nostaglicly. Memories of the days he was alive in Ria came back. Soon enough a far away look was written all over his face.

In response to Kurai's first remark, she rolled her eyes. While he was taking advantage of her silence to make offending remarks, she simply glared at the road in front of her, concealing her thoughts, and cursing him mentally, and hoped that he'd just one day leave her alone. She wish he'd go back to whever he was and give her the peace that she wants.
Of course, all her features slowly softened as soon as she placed a foot on a sudden and almost enchanted place. She blinked, her attention fully draw to that pretty lake that was before them. She slowed her pace down, and tried to looked around her in order to memorize this place. Though the only problem would be that she didn't know how she ended up in Saya Hill at the first place.
Lin Yao stoped her tracks, when she was just a couple of feet away from the lake and peered down at it. It's though as if she just found herself in a fairytale or something. She would see the gems and the minerals that were sleeping in the lake. The water was so clear that one can actually see how deep it is. She was about to open her mouth to adress to Kurai, until, when she looked at him, he already zoned off.
She first remained quiet and just stared at his calm features. He actually didn't look so annoying if it wasn't for his behaviour and mocking tone... and the weird chains. She was still curious about those chains but didn't ask about it yet. Should she bother him? She felt her nose tinggling and frowned. She raised her hand, circled with her pink and long scarf and tried to not sneeze, not wanting to bother Kurai.
But her effort was vain. "Achum!!!"

Sakura's soul suddenly appeared back at her home; her transparent body was unseen to everybody. Although she couldn't touch anything, for some strange reason she could still pick up her reed flute. Floating towards a large rock in the middle of the lake, she stood delicatly on it as she began to play a tune where sorrow mixed in with longing and regret.
A few sparkling tears fell from her eyes and dripped into the lake. But right before they touched the surface, the tears disappeared. She wished she could have helped Kurai. Glowy orb thingys washed around her as if to reassure her that Kurai would be ok.
i'm here kurai, come and get me.
Suddenly a beam of moonlight broke through the clouds and shone on her. Her transparent body shimmered faintly in the moonlight.
As Kurai made his way into the lake, he felt the sudden energy flow of Sakuras soul.
Thats her. he thought
Kurai flew quickly and silently flew twoards her soul.
what is she doing?! is she just lost?! he advanced slowly to see if there was any reaction from her.
Sakura continued to play her reed flute, the melody seemed to hang in the air around her and slowly cover everything. She knew that Kurai was near, so she scanned her eyes over her surroundings. Finally they landed on him...
are u here to get me, kurai? i've been waiting for you... this song i'm playing is for you.
**********************
"Achum!!!" came out the poliet yet loud sneeze of the gurl Kurai followed. Kurai angrily shook his head about as he looked over to find the gurl cupping her face as half her body was turned twoards Kurai and the other twoards the lake.
"o..." Kurai chuckled as she looked over at her and then twirled the black cloak about in his hand. "You sure you don't need this?" Kurai then looked at the cloak itself and then shook his head. "Actually your right... this is probably not suited to your... expensive.. taste. " Kurai then took this time to look up and down at her again. "how could i not see this before? The only reason you are pure. Is because your raised by rich folks... you hardly have been tainted by the outside world obviously." Kurai then smacked his forehead.
"mannn... what the heck was a thinking... Pure soul.. poliet and all innocent like..." Kurai then let out a forceful laugh as his hand rested on his forehead and tilted it upwards twoards the moonlight which bleed through the trees. After a good laugh or two Kurai ceased it and then tilted his head downwards slowly bringing his hand down from his face and then down his bare chest. Teasing at his chains as he went down each one.
"well then... now we are in a more conceal place..." Kurai then pulled up one hand upwards in front of his face and one extended outwards each finger slowly moving upwards and down as if they danced in the air. "shall we get that soul of yours?" Kurai smiled. he wasn't quite in a fightin stance. But he was being rather cautious, seeing how she was able to hit him in the head with her katana hilt. he needed to be more alert.
"like i said. easy one... hard way."

She slowly looked back at him, again ranting off as usual. But now he seemed to find the answers to his own egnima(sp?-_-). She didn't let bother her for too long. Was she that materialist though? She tilt her head and looked back at the lake mind-absently.
She closed her eyelids as if she tried to focused on something. She could feel just a moment there a glimpse of Kurai's sadness. But that wasn't all it for jsut a moment ago, she thought she had hear an almost inaudible and faint melody, as distant as the stars framed on the dark sky's robe. While the chained demon was getting ready for a fight or so.
She heard his chain rattling, annoyingly stumbling on the melody, covering up that melody, "Can you hear it," she said in an almost pained and soft tone, ignoring the fact she was going to get her soul snatched away from her petite being. She slowly crouched and hugged herself in order to keep her warm, setting her katana to the ground. "I can feel so much sadness emiting from this lake... can you not feel it?"

Kurai was totally ready for her to grab her katana and run at Kurai, seeing her rather strong nature. Kurai slowly tapped the soft grass and dirt floor with his left foot. There he shifted his right foot out and then nodded his head. oh yeah. she's totally trying to catch me off guard now. look at her, she's looking out at the lake now and all. Kurai then slowly ceased the movement of his extended out hand and rose his head up a bit as he curiously watched her close her eyes.
maybe.. she is a magic caster too? crapp... what if she is a light user.. like Kari.... then.. Kurai smirk slowly turned into a confused frown and he lowered his left hand which was next to his face.
"Can you hear it,"
Kurai eyes shot open as she said those words. He then slowly half lowered his right arm and look straight at Lin with a suprised look. "What the heck you ranting off about gurl?" Kurai said quite angrily. He then watched he drop her katana down on the ground and sit down herself.
"What are you... some stupid empath?" Kurai sneered and then watched her for a bit. Seeing no reaction from her for a while Kurai groaned and threw both of his arms down to his side. He then threw both of his hands into his pocket and looked down at the lake.
"All i see is a stupid puddle of water with some sparkly pretty stuff." Kurai groaned as he looked back at Lin. "What the heck are you..." Kurai then froze up as another feeling shook his body. Just lookin at how Lin crouched down slowly reminded him of the strange oblivious Fairy of which he used to know by the name of...
**************
"sakura ...." Kurais eyes went blank for a while.
whats going on? why do i feel so quezzy all the sudden? something... is wrong here but that melody...
kurai backed into a tree as he tried to catch his breath. wait i remember.. i was suppose to capture her soul and devour it so i could become stronger and be able to become stronger then ky.. but why can't i do it?? whats wrong??
Kurai then violently rose his hand up and then clenched it tightly. "Damn it! why are you making me do this!?!?" Kurai yelled out and then a large purple flame formed in his palm. There he chucked it straight twoards into the sky. "Release Sakura FROM THE CONTRACT!" Kurai yelled out and then fell onto his knees as a large purple light shattered through the nights dark sky.
Sakura dropped her reed flute when she saw that Kurai was in some sort of pain. She moved towards him, but found that she couldn't. The floating orbs covered her until she couldn't see anymore. When the orbs disappeared, her body was encased in a crystal.
Her body was being recreated. She was curled up inside and looked like she was asleep, but her mind was actually very awake. And it consisted only of Kurai.
kurai! r u ok?! i'll come help u soon!!!
Within a few seconds, her transparent body began to turn into flesh. After a couple of minutes, her body was recreated. The crystal broke up into glowly orb thingys.
Sakura dropped into the lake because since she was practically just born...she was very weak. It took all her strength to resurface and fly towards Kurai. When she finally reached him; she fainted right next to him. All that energy that was needed to get to him had completly drained her. **********

Rivera's Kairen rattled slightly as she walked. It was around her waist and unmoving. Even her weapons needed sleep. Her footsteps were silent and she would've been mistaken for some ghost, for the chains rattled alone without a bearer. The lake spread out before her and she watched, her eyes becoming the same color, reflecting night and the waters. Silently sliding down the dirt slope of a cliffy over hang, she found herself at the edge.
Rivera was wearing the robes passed down to her by the previous Praeis'acques of Aeterranchise's grand temple. They made her look like a goddess, numerous blue and violet wraps layered over her hip and all over a lavender tied sarong. Silver rope girdles and cords to secure her top and the wrap piece, and the silver rod in her hands with a small moon and orb standard. The orb was sapphire blue, taking the entire space left untouched within the circle of the crescent.
She held out the rod and it grew longer, from the riding crop size to a 6 feet staff. The moon standard grew larger, but the orb remained still. Ornate patterns wrapped around the standard and trailed down the staff of silver. Her eyes followed the waters and went to the moon. Rivera spoke the prayer for the water's blessings and walked into the water. The moment her skin touched the water, the orb began to glow and lit a way for her to make her trip beneath.

She placed a finger on her lips, gesturing to be quiet. Though he had already stopped scolding her off already. Was he not tired of insulting with a brick of wall? Guess not.
The faint music itself was telling a story, though she couldn't hear it too well, the message it was saying, the melody was enough. Her green bangs fell foward partly covering her calm face.
"I didn't ask you see look at the Lake, I asked you to feel it silly..." She reopened her eyes and saw Kurai shooked by bitter memories again. She blinked and stared at him. It was a bit disturbing how he was blankly staring at her. But she looked back at the lake and rubbed the back of her head. Was she supposed to snap him out of his reverie?
An awkward silence began to make the atmosphere slightly more unbearable, but for some reason she told herself that Kurai probably might need this little moment of peace? He seemed to be the type to be ranting all day without doing any serious thinking... But she stared back at him, he could have almost ben mistaken for a statue or something. Lin Yao gracefully rose from her feet and walking around him in circles. She waved her hand over his gaze. "So... can you feel it," she asked, tilting her head.

Kurai was completely absorbed by the slow haunting memory of his first failed Soul gather. When he first became contracted with darkness, Kurai mercilessly hacked away numbers of souls, before he developed a strange taste for pure and innocent souls from females. He only had one thing in mind, and that was to get stronger from each soul he took in. But when it came he smelled themost delicious soul Kurai found himself staring at his old friend Sakura.
Kurai shook his head as he slowly took in the sight of Lin in front of him. Quickly he turned red a bit and crossed his arms. .. how long was i looking at her.. Kurai thought to himself. How annoying! Kurai thought as he piff-ed off to the side. "Well how the devil am i suppose to feel the lake huh!?" Kurai then kneeled down and shoved his hand straight into the lake. "well there! im totally feeling it now!" Kurai said turning his face back at Lin. "and i feel ... its warm.." Kurai then facefaulted and looked back at his hand as the ripples from his hand made its way about the lake. Kurai's hand was clearly visible in the beatiful water. only some of his face could be seen in the water's reflection. for a second he thought he saw a ghost in the reflection of the water too.
Kurai slowly mouthed a few words as he watched his reflection. "stupid... song.." Kurai said under his breath.
**********
"What happened to my spirit world spell?" He looked at his hands and gloves. He shook his head angrily and slowly rose up
"I guess im not strong enough to control this dark magic yet.. Ky's right.. i am not strong enough. Having the power does not mean i am stronger still.. i guess ill have to tame this new power." Kurai then blinked about and found sakura fainted out next to him. Kurai's face gave off an akward smile
Kurai then carfully and gingerly laid sakura onto a soft patch of grass as he walked away.
everytime i see her. I can't seem to do anything right... stupid.. faerie...
**************
Kurai then saw lin's reflection in the water and he quickly shot his face up to see her standing up above him looking down at him. he blinked a bit and whapped her hand away.
"Sheesh im alive!" Kurai then stood up quickly, not liking Lin being taller and looming over him. "still don't get what you mean! stupid gurl.. your just trying to mess with my head arent ya!" Kurai then tapped his forehead 3 times before turning the other way somewhat annoyed to the fact that she got him thinking like this. He was afraid that his expressions would give it away.
Freakin stupid gurl..

She barely noticed he blushed as their proximity, she just wanted to know if actually heard anything. But apparently, not. Nothing. All her hopes have become disdain from that demon. He was a hopeless case. He shall remain one of the dumbest demon she will ever encounter. Stupid demon.
Her eye twitched. "Me?! Stupid, look who's stupid you couldn't even get to hear the song now can't you? I'm not messing with your head," she snapped angrily, breaking the serenity and the harmony of the area. " I just thought maybe since you had this distant look on your face, you could have heard it. And thinking might do you good for once, maybe you couldn't have tried to kill me earlier, maybe you would of got my soul earlier. Who's stupid? Not me anyways. I was simply trying to get some sense into you, is that also wrong? How can an ignorant still be alive nowadays? I do not get it," she shouted gradually louder and louder.
Without even realizing it, this was probably the first time she rose her tone to him like that. She didn't even realized that they weren't alone because maybe then she would have flushed hard and be more than just embarassed at her sudden outburst.
And then twitching in annoyance, she aimlessly threw her fist at him, "Gah! You deserve to die!"

Rivera's light shone on them. She was in the lake for a mere moment before she came back out. The light from the blue orb would come as a sudden shock to them. A quick mental conjuring of an ice dragon would stop her fist in mid punch if it made contact around her wrist. They were gold restraints. "If you two must argue..." Her words were the whispers of wind before a storm, they were soft and calm, forever without emotion. Her right eye was a dark blue now, and her right a blue-silver. Her neat black hair framed her face, the long tresses shifting in the night breeze. "Please, be more quiet. There is a ritual here tonight... and if you speak too loudly, you man sabotage it." Rivera looked at both of them. Her pale skin seemed even paler under the bluish glow of her staff.
Rivera bowed, "Forgive me for not introducing myself. I am Rivencaira Capella'acqu, of Aeterranchise. Please, my work requires precision..." She began to turn away, then quickly turned her head back again. "Oh, that that means no violence... please... "

Rivera showed no signs of anger, but blinked at him. Her eyes turned a brilliant fiery orange for a moment... and he might feel the force of a dragon shaped brand burning into his back. Rivera closed her eyes for a moment and let her eyes return to the normal shades of blue. "...one cannot steal what does not exist." She whispered to herself and looked at her rod. Rivera only recently found out that she didn't have a soul, and without the key that she wore around her neck, she had no contact with borrowed souls. Sure, she'd last a few minutes without it, but any longer than half an hour, she would be nothing more than a shell, a body without guidance. Looking towards the girl, she inclined her head respectfully. "You must have a tough time... take care." Rivera returned to the lake and vanished beneath the waves.
Several moments later, a draconian serpent of massive proportions rose from the water in an arc of silver and blue. Rivera stood among the waves and whispered something to it, then kissed its scales. The dragon blinked like a cat, and a heavy white fog fell around the entire vicinity.

She glared at him, her anger building up, her head steam red as he just snapped at her. Never in her life she have been insulted in that kind of way. It was a new and different experience with a mixture of amusement and annoyance at the same time. And for some reason today, she felt she had just thrown away a burden on her shoulders. Should she be thankful? She groanned, "stupid demon."
She literally ignored that stranger with the long name for now and clutched her fist, "The name's Lin Yao, you brainless underground creature," she snapped angrily. Before she can add anything else, luck on Kurai's side, she sneezed one last time. Gah! She nearly found herself stompting the floor herself and pull her hair off.
She crossed her arms and sulked, turning her back at Kurai. When her common sense finally came back to her, she realized that she was lost. Her eyes grew bigger and looked at over her shoulder. "Wait, he's not seriously leaving me here, is he?!"
Lin Yao mentally cursed. And looked back at the lake. She waited for him to come back. But he didn't. He seriously abandonned her here. Her eyes looked back at Rivencaira Capella'acqu. She bowed to the young lady confusedly at first and by respect. It wasn't long enough a dragon flew towards the lake, carrying off the young lady. A violent wind picked up at the dragon left, blowing off her hair and soft material.
Whoa, wait a second. She was lost. VERY LOST. In the middle of nowhere. Perfect. After a moment of frustration, she slowly regain her calmness that she have just lost a moment ago. She ran a pale hand through her bangs before picking up her red katana and looked at the lake. Lin Yao have found a sudden small attachment to this place. For some reason this was a place that brought peace in her soul and mind. This won't be the last visit, she was more than just sure of that.
Her dark green gaze trailed back at where Kurai left, angrily. However, he features softened as she protraited that distant look of his, his calm features when they first entered. "Stupid mysterious guy." And back to the problem: How to get out of here. She sighed and started off, trying to find her way back to Ria...wherever that was.

The dragon's eyes matched Rivera's. She gave a determined look and began the ritual.
"Two in one, one in many. The waters know no lie. Of whom they sing, of whom they speak and of whom they would cry. Ten silver rings and nine golden torcs upon the kings of old. Eight princely virtues and seven sins for which a soul is sold. Six ships sailed from Aeterranchise, five of which untold. Four join together in love and fear at ocean shores stronghold. Three will remain in hope and pain, two keep strong and bold. One to rule us from the foams of birth, one sea to live the world!"
The waters parted from beneath her feet and rose in an archway above her head. The dragon set out a keening wail and the sky was suddenly engulfed in storm. Rain lashed out over the lake and the forest, the stinging blows to bring purity to the lands, so that it may remain as it is. Rivera supplyed the forces with her own life force, as she had no soul... the dragon wrapped itself around her protectively against interference. It was the channel between her and the heavens from the water. The Mizuryu, water dragon, was god, summoned by only one--the high priestess of Atlantis.
