Directly above the Anteroom is the Mess Hall. There are an assortment of tables, ranging from large to small, arranged in the room. The walls are an artificial screen, during the day usually showing a green hilly land outside.
Food can be ordered here three times a day and inbetween meals, if a student is still hungry.

So, she was bored.
Trela had been up in her dormitory for some time .. her roommate had still not arrived; thus she decided to explore.
She found herself in the mess hall. No, she was not hungry .. she figured maybe someone would be there. Not much of a social butterfly, but boredom had taken a hold of her.

It wasn't really hunger, it was more, snacking. Yes, snacking. Snacking and hoping someone new would eventually come in. And, Akira's wishes had come true. Indeed, someone walked... wait. Slithered in.
Akira had been snacking on more fries, drowned in ketchup. His ears and tail twitched as he watched the snake-girl slither further into the room.

Glancing around the mess hall, she felt another person around. Catching the wolf boy's gaze, she paused.
Well, at least he isn't an Aanida. Might as well make some friends, while I'm here.
Slithering over, she looked at him, 'Mind if I sit?'

Akira nodded, and moved his tail away from the seat next to him. "Feel free," he replied, with a seemingly genuine half-smile.
"My name's Akira, are you new here, too?"

Trela sat down, and looked at the boy. Silver eyes taking in the new being. She had only known other Nahzeetial.
Listening to him speak, she nodded, 'Yeah; got here this morning.' A pause, she looked down at the table for a moment. Locking gaze again, she smirked, 'What about you?'

Akira's tail wobbled, he shoved a frie in his mouth, "I got here a couple of days ago," He replied.
He wanted to ask what she was, he had never seen a snake-person before. He'd seen plenty of people like him, altered humans, and on the rare occassion, he'd see an Aanida. But snake-people? Never.
"Um... What... well, what I mean is, what are you?" The wolf-boy's cheeks took on an anticipated pink glow.

Trela gave an offended look, 'What am I?!' A smirk danced on her face, 'A Nahzeetial of the Keres tribe.' She gave a wink, 'And you'd best remember that boy!' A playful grin.
'Same question.' She glanced at him quizzically.

Ears stuck to his head, his eyes widened slightly. The snake-girl seemed, offended to say the least. He blushed all the more, "I'm sorry, I've never seen a Nahzeetial." He replied, shoving a couple more fries in his mouth.
"I'm an altered human. I have wolf genes."
He squirmed out of his seat, "I'm sorry, I have to go... I have to study for class," He bowed very lightly, and walked away, hurriedly.

Akira jogged to the mess hall, looking inside, he found his seat and grinned. Crawling up onto it and sitting, his tail flicking happilly.
He waved for Hiro to join him. "Did Avenine explain how to get food?"

"Nope! He just made it come!"
Even if he had told Hiro how to get food, the sugar had pretty much erased the last shred of consciousness the he had. He was a big blank at the moment. He remembered how to get in the Gates and how to open the door, but that was because he had it in his mind. And he just saw Akira do it.

Akira giggled again, "Lineslieth said it was easy, all you have to do is think of what you want, and send it out. And one of those food bringer thingies will bring out your food! It's really neat!"
He grinned, and thought up his order. The usual, fries drenched in ketchup, and a cheese burger.
Not a moment later it was infront of him, and he started feasting.

Hiro did what Akira said, hoping that it would work like it did with his room mate. He thought about what he wanted. Almost instantly, a pile of brownies was there. No nuts.
Sooner or later they'd probably have to restrain what he could order.

Akira smiled up at the younger boy. Nodding, almost proudly. He had the feeling they would grow close, like family.
Family... Akira missed his family, he missed his mother.
He frowned slightly.
