~Welcome to the guild, created by Squall~

Hello and welcome everyone to the BIGGEST Final Fantasy VIII Fan Guild on Gaia! We want to work hard to make this a big success and to rival Final Fantasy guilds like that of the Final Fantasy VII Guild which is, in fact, quite popular.

Please obey all the rules posted in this thread to the letter. We will be making revisions to it as we go so please bear with us.

Also note that disobeying these rules will result in disciplinarian action.
Each person is given 3 warnings and after those are up, you will be banned. If you have any questions about the rules, please contact The Vilespawn Archfiend or Sembri for clarification.

Let's try to make this place a big success and have fun!

General Rules

Please look over the Rules and Guidelines and Terms of Service before posting anything in this guild. Any and all incursions of the rules stated in the rules or TOS will be reported DIRECTLY to an online gaia moderator, and will get you ban from this guild.

Please try and keep threads relevant to the forum it is in. All threads that we don't think fit WILL be moved or deleted. For example: In the Main Forum, do not start threads like: 'The ultimate fight! Who would win or who would beat down on the other to death between Seifer and Sephiroth, or Ultimetica and Sin?" Don't start threads like that in the Main Forum, that belongs in the 'Chatterbox' Forum.

Please try and keep the swearing down as this is a kid friendly guild.

NO spamming is allowed in this guild.

Respect each other and their feelings

Read all announcements

Please post in the correct sticky or thread.

No dissing someone

Flaming others or harassing one of the guild moderators = autoban. It is not cool to flame or harass others. Period. If you get harassed or flamed by someone, PM The Vilespawn Archfiend or Vortex18 and things WILL be taken care of.

Please try and post at least 10 times within three weeks. We like this guild active.

Please report all misconduct to the guild captains or crew so action may be taken.

RPG Rules

All General Rules also apply to the RPG.

We restrict Abusive power, illegal drugs, and such from the RPG.

No God Modeling. No ALL Powerful beings.

Restrict all OOC (out of character) talk from these threads. If needed, please use brackets: [ ], { }, or ( ).

Do not move another character without their notice. No puppet-mastering or God-moding.

Please use third person correct grammer if you can.

Above all else, enjoy your time. Have fun.

If the RP rules are broken, please contact whoever is in charge of the RP forum so that they may look over it and see what needs to be done. The current mod of the RP forum is The Vilespawn Archfiend.

Section 3: Topics!!

At the moment, there are several topics and ideas in the guild that are drawing in attention.

1. Right now there are plans and discussions underway to bring SeeD rankings to the guild. Stay tuned for more details.

2. The Game Request forum looks promising for those that have either lost their copy of the game over the years or have never played it all the way through. Check that out once you have some time.
