is this a real government party, or is it just a group of jackasses blowing smoke?
anyway, i'm 16, turning 17 in may...
i love the way the refer to abortion as "reproductive choice" as if it's choosing wether or not to have sex, and that not having this inalienable right is equal to rape...
really, it's not telling them what to do, it's taking away a bad option. like removing scissors from the hands of a child prone to stabbing things.

Hmmm...I really don't think this will pass. The first glaring insult is that it undermines the state by state authority to legiselate laws that are noy gaurenteed to the Supreme Coart byt he constitution. ABortion is one of these.
Two, already now more and more peopel are realising the problems of abortion.
Three, you now have some extremly smart people in the House and Supreme Coart.
But...I can see it passing as well...because this country is destend to cease to exist.
On a side note, if a law like this were passed I would lobby to have a man's responcibility to a child he never wanted lifted. If a woman can opt for an abortion then a man can opt not to pay child support.

Serioulsy, I can see people like Ted Kennedy, HIliry CLinton, and all of their croneys pushing for somethign liek this. But, if the choicers push this, does that not make them hypocrits in their claims that its wrong to atempt to push your beleifes into law?

The "choicers" are most definatly pushing it. It was on the front page of both NARAL and Planned Parenthood yesterday.

Broorel The "choicers" are most definatly pushing it. It was on the front page of both NARAL and Planned Parenthood yesterday. Then their hypocrits and tryign to force others to comply to their beleifes. Abortion is a necesaty, they claim. Abortion is a necesity because we help mak elife hard for pregnant woman, they should say. I wish I knew the right peopel to contact. I'm gogin to get this into my school and see if somethign can't be down in the state of NC. If this law was passed it would be completly unconsittusional. If I remember straigh thtough, NARAL, NOW, and PP tried somitting this liek this in the past, and they were turned away with out so much as a hearing...one can only hope this is the same.

or perhaps even better- maybe it will get more people to become pro-life, or make the judges more likely to revers rvw... ya know when someone tailgates you so you slow down more? maybe if they push too hard, the judges will slap them down and make them lose ground

*sigh* I can still seeing it passing. Even though the coarts are equal righ tnow, with one republican needed to tilt the scale. But, so many of the libs are judicial activist and interpit the constitution the way they want to, just liek when a lawyer made the false claim that the 14th amendment supported a woman's righ tot an abortion. I'm sorry, but the unborn is proven human, and the freewodm of privacy ends when the life of a human is envolved. RvW and DvB are already unconstitutional rullings as is, they got there through judicial activism.

I registered at the DMV, no waiting for it to go in.
But, if this is heard, it'lll most likely end up like RvW, IE, the citizens won'thave a chance to vote.
