Yes, we have our own system of Gyms that Trainers can battle for their badges to enter the Pokemon League.
One of the many benefits to becoming a Gym Leader, is that you get one Pokemon of your choice! Keep in mind though, that the Gym you are running must be of a specific type. Which means, you're only allowed to obtain a Pokemon of the type of Gym you are running.
You, the Gym leader must come up with everything for the Gym. That means setting, name, type you are to be running, etc. We expect you to be as organized as possible. ^_^
Like everyone else, you have to raise your Pokemon the same way they do, which is through Role Playing. ( Of course. ) You can open and close your Gym whenever you feel like. You even have the choice to decline a Gym battle for whatever logical reasoning you believe in.
Each Gym Trainer has a limit their Pokemon can be. Why? Because the challenger ( Other Trainers ) have to work their way up the ranks and it would only be fair.
- Specific Level Limitations are personally given out by myself to the ranking Gym leaders. -
Gym Leaders are allowed to have other Pokemon, but they cannot use those Other Pokemon inside their Gym battles. ( This being of course, if those certain Pokemon are not of the type the Gym represents. )
Gym leaders are allowed to Hire Gym Trainers, to have Gym battles before the actually Leader battle. Though, like a manager would do an employee, they must pay them to do their job. ( In Pokemon Gold. )
The Gym Leader Salary is 7k ( Pokemon Gold ) Once every week. No more, no less. If a Gym Leader is to beat a Pokemon Trainer that is to challenge them, they obtain half of the Trainer's Pokemon Gold.
