I would like to hear where you got that from? Just because the rapture hasn't happened doesn't mean it may be true....

I would need to look up the verses where it refers to the rapture, but it does say in the Bible that on the Messiah's final return, the dead in Christ will rise first and then those who served Him will be taken up into the clouds in an instant. I'll try to find where it talks about that, so that I can show you...

Yeah, the Left Behind series is good. It's 2 men's attempt to put what is described in the Bible into an understandable real-life story.

I was dreamin' when I wrote this Forgive me if it goes astray But when I woke up this mornin' Coulda sworn it was judgment day The sky was all purple, there were people runnin' everywhere Tryin' to run from the destruction, U know I didn't even care
say say two thousand zero zero party over, oops out of time So tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1999
I was dreamin' when I wrote this So sue me if I go to fast But life is just a party, and parties weren't meant to last War is all around us, my mind says prepare to fight So if I gotta die I'm gonna listen to my body tonight
say say two thousand zero zero party over, oops out of time So tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1999
Lemme tell ya somethin' If U didn't come to party, don't bother knockin' on my door I got a lion in my pocket, and baby he's ready to roar Yeah, everybody's got a bomb, we could all die any day But before I'll let that happen, I'll dance my life away

Paul says, "First the dead in Christ will rise then those of us alive in Christ will be gathered in the clouds," (Sengem paraphrasing)
There are only twelve adult because at the end of twelve Jeus returns for the third time to establish his thousand year reign. The rapture is completely biblically sound.
in fact one of the authors of Left Behind is a bible expert of the reapture and Tribulation period. the other is a famous writer. they joined together for that series so that it was biblical and a good story.

The idea of rapture scares me. And God knows it too. i feel all the crazy things happening with global warming, kids getting murdered, parents not caring, teen pregnancies. Its just scary. I know these things were all in the bible, and i wish i knew how long it would be from here, because i want to get married and raise a child before it happens...I'll be faithful to God alwys, because He knows and only He knows what will happen.

I feel the same! eek Sometimes at night i cry.. gonk It scares me that much..but then..maybe i'm crying because even though i'll be taken (hopefully..o.O) what about the people i've grown to love, see, talk to, and care for? I have plenty of friends and family that dont know anything about God and what he stands for, and all i've been doing is trying to find that 'opportunity' where i could tell them..>.> even though that 'opportunity' wont happen unless i go and start it! gah! all those people I weep for because from reading Revelations and reading Left Behind the Kids (yes i read all 40), they've given me a pretty good picture of what'll happen after the Rapture. SCARY!!! xp burning_eyes
