*The light began to flicker on and off as the crowd begins to yell uncontrollably but, it slowly turns into a mixed reaction. As the opening notes of "The time is now" began to play. The first work is spoken and the horns began to blast as John Cena enters the arena, with his manager Shorti by his side. John wears his new jersey and long black shorts, and a backwards baseball cap. Shorti is wearing a matching outfit, except that she wears, fitted blue jean and no cap and her shirt has been altered to fit her body and shows a little more skin than usual, which the crows seems to like. He plays to the crowd and Shorti shows her support by pointing to him and mouthing "The Champ is here.", The crowd is still going wild as he walks down to the ring and slides under the ropes. Shorti slowly walks up the steps and he holds the ropes open for her. Then he grabs a mic from the sound guy.*
"You know.", the crowd is mixed as he starts talking. Shorti just stands next to him in silence.,"There's a pay-per-view that just passed, and I fought one hell of a match.," he says. "I was hurt, my girl", he looked over at Shorti, and the guys yelled, "was put in danger, and I", he removes his hat to show stiches in his forehead "I got busted open.", he laughed a little, "And all this for nothing. Nothing but a rematch. A rematch against...Venom.", the mixed reaction grew louder and the crowd was split right down the middle half for John and half for Venom. "This guy thinks that he deserves that belt. Like he just has some kind of right to it. He thinks I'm not on his level. Says I can't wrestle but...I didn't lose! And I am going to show all of you why right now! So, Venom come down to this ring right now and bring my belt out here right now! So, that I can kick your a** all over this damn ring!", the crowd cheers as Cena stands there awiting Venom's arrival.

Venom walks out to no music and a mixed reaction the IC title over his shoulder. He has a mic in hands.
"Well you shouldnt call it your belt just yet. See sure you didnt get beat but you are forgetting that you didnt beat me either. Sure last match you brought but it wasnt enough and whatever you have will never be enough why cause I am better than you. Want some proof here it is. First match we had in which I beat you, thats right beat you, for this title. I beat you so badly Cena your little girlfriend had to come and bail you out of it. Ok second match was a draw so." He points to his forehead. "I'm not the one with stitches from that match. So time ran out which was a break for you since eventually you would have just collapsed from the blood loss and the beating you were recieving but again your girl over there knew you were in trouble and had to try and come to your aid again. So I have one question for you Cena. If you cant beat with the help Shorti what makes you think you can beat me at all?"

"I can kick your a** anytime and anywhere!", Cena said. He looked at Shorti, "And I can do it with or without Shorti.". Shorti looked surprised but, still she didn't say anything. "The reason she is there is because when I do become the Champion. I want her", he pointed to Shorti, "to celebrate with me.", he paused as the audience cheered. More for Shorti than for Cena. "And to answer your question. I can beat you because, I throw hands, I can beat you because I don't quit, and I can beat you because I deserve that title.", Cena was now leaning against the ropes and pointing at Venom and the belt.

"See now youre just talking out your a**. Seeing how you couldnt beat me when she helped you. Selective memory I guess. You have yet to take me to my limits but I've already seen yours your "heart" is all that kept you going in that match but Ill soon beat that outta you." Venom smirks then lites a cig takes a few pulls than keeps talking.
"And I suggest quitting when youre out matched youll live alot longer. And I outmatch you and you know it which is why you had to expose that turnbuckle in our last match and even Shorti knows it or else she wouldnt have had to try and help you all those times. Which she failed miserably at I might add."There is the difference between me and you John Cena. I dont sweat you but you know you cant beat me. I'm bigger than you, I'm stronger than you, and I'm smarter than you. Deep down inside you know you cant beat but you have to act like the tough guy in front of all these people but I see through your little facade. You are nothing but a soft New England boy who grew up in the suburbs away from it all and who wouldnt last a second where I was raised. On the streets I've met people alot tougher than you and they throw better punches too." He said rubbing his cheek remebering his fights from long ago.
"So you have alot of heart doesnt matter much when it stops beating. I promise you Cena in our next match you wont be walking away. Ill see you in the ring." Venom turns and walks backstage a smile on his face.

"Yea, walk your a** backstage and the next time, I see you in this ring. I am going to beat your a**.", Cena watched him walk backstage and then Cena's music hit. He stood up on the turnbuckel throwing up wordlife signs. He di the same for each turnbuckel and threw his shirt into the audience on the last turnbuckel. Then he looked over at Shorti, who had been standing in the same place the whole time. And slowly walked towards her. The crowd started to swell with "oohs" and "ahhs" at what was going to happen next. Cena removed his hat and replaced it on his head backwards. Shorti didn't move but, only smiled at him. He then rapidly crossed the ropes and waited for Shorti, holding the ropes open for her once more. She then walked down the steps and the two walked up the ramp. As the music blarred they gave their last waves to the crowd and walked backstage.
