The Bridge is one of the main organs, so to speak, of the Titan. Practically everything is controlled here. There are several stations, each serving its own purpose, with Naval Lieutenants at the controls. Some are MAC (Magnetic Accelerator Cannon) Control, NAV (Navigation), COM (Communication), and TAC (Tactical). The Captain and the rest of the command crew spend most of their time here. /Bridge Crew/

Captain Vincent Millay stared blankly at the readouts along the screen in front of him, noting the charts indicating the returns of several of the Titan's Pelicans, along with most of the original Marine force sent down to secure their first base on Theta Halo. He thought about what was now needed, and couldn't help but think of the NOVA once more. He knew they wouldn't need that much force to destroy the ring now that it was pretty much evacuated, which was only one of their options.
He also managed to consider following the path that the Pirates had used to escape from last time, thinking that it might lead them to a larger group of outlaws, since a ship like that would need support. As he argued with himself over what their plan of action should be, he shifted his gaze and examined his crew, noting that Lt. Jennings was still awake and diligently manning the NAV station, now unable to remember when he'd last ordered his crew to take a break.
One of the few female crew members he actually knew of, Lt. Hall, still managed to show no physical signs of fatigue after all of what they'd been through. He didn't truly bother to learn the names of his crew, but somehow these two had managed to force their names into his memory, not that it affected how he thought of them now as he plotted their course away from Theta Halo. He also went through the list of nuclear weapons which he'd compiled earlier, noting which would be most effective in tearing apart the ring.

The Captain sighed as he typed out plans for converting the Starboard shuttle bay into a medical bay, if they ever had too many wounded. He noted the fact that most were simply killed on Theta Halo, and that they rarely had to deal with a large number of wounded. He would have thought about this further, but a small sound coming from the screen in front of him indicated he'd a report from a fellow ship, and, after checking the source, gladly accepted it.

/start file/ Captain Millay, You will have to exuse my absence, I was recovering in the Sick Bay while one of the Lieutenants took over. The outcome of our run in actually came up better than I expected. Only a few decks were totally obliterated, but we aren't suited for space combat.
I feel as if my ship is a burden onto you, so in the midst of battle, you know what to do.
As for other matters, we have compiled the list of nuclear weaponry that our ship has in stock, and, while we are still damaged from our most recent battle, the Armengald still has the ability to fire a few missiles and send that ring back to hell where it belongs. A report detailing our current condition will follow this one. Carry on with the operations, Vincent.

The Captain's index finger swiftly tapped the ENTER key, and the list he was after scrolled across the screen.
/Armengald NW Payload/ FURY Tactical Nuke: x10 (Possible to detonate from limited distance) HAVOK Nucler Warhead: x6 (Not as powerful as SHIVA's) SHIVA Nuclear-tipped Missile: x2 (One being with our remotely-launched LS)
Press ENTER to close the file.
He felt a slight grin tug at the corner of his mouth as he read through the report, before closing it, transfering some of the data to memory, and deleting the rest of it.

Vincent was in the process of deligating the coordinates for which they would use to warn off any patrol units, not wanting anyone to get too close to the area just in case the Covenant might just randomly show up and they had to blast the ring ahead of schedule, when he heard a familiar voice over his ship to ship COM system. He swiftly tapped on the COM and replied in a calm voice, "This is Captain Millay of the UNSC Titan. I'm happy to hear you've fully restored your communications system, Resnick."

"Yes, I'm glad too. I've felt like a caveman for the past few days. Now Vincent, about these plans, have you taken into account our escape at all?"
"Our first priority is to destroy this ring. Our escape, while still important, while have to wait. Besides, the debris from the explosion will be scattered in so many different directions that we could easily dodge any of the larger pieces. I've already given the order to have our Longswords return to their respective hangars before we blow it, since we're likely to have large amounts of smaller shrapnel that could damage the smaller ships." As he spoke quietly, his right hand lightly tapped in commands and coordinates for his TAC Lieutenant to follow.

"As I see... Now, have we gathered all of the last crews off of the ring?"
"The situation below us is more complex than that. We've got several missing with their conditions unknown, but we greatly doubt that they could have escaped the Flood. We also have reports of Marines killing several Flood forms that appeared as some of the missing. We have no communications eminating from the surface, and no personal locators are showing up on our sensors, so we doubt anyone is alive down there. We have a mixed group of some Armengald Marines on our ship as well, and I'll send you the list of survivors as soon as possible."

"Really? I dont have any reports of my men. Speaking of my men, is SPARTAN-108 onboard your vessel?"
"He's currently onboard along with his team of ODST's that had originally went down with him and Alpha Platoon. We also have members from the first drop team on board from the Armengald, which shows that, despite our battles, we've managed to save quite a few soldiers..."

"I see... Well, what shall we do? The units ont he ground need us, but we need to blow this thing up now..."
Without taking his off of the reports he was sifting through, his right hand sent out another separate report tagged with casualty estimates from both ships. "The units on the ground are either dead or walking around mindlessly. It's too late for them. If we don't blow the ring up now, the mutated freaks could spread further. We've managed to recover most of our forces and vehicles that we sent down, so we should be content with that. Now, we should focus on the ring's destruction."

"I see I see... Well then, you make the attack call. Have you had any contact with the Covert Operations Team on the Covenant Carrier?"
He visibly winced at the mentioning of their team on the Carrier, somehow immediately thinking of the Pirates they'd encountered not long ago. "They're holding up nicely. I'll send you the report of the repairs they've made on your ship from their view later. For now, I'd like to send out your SPARTAN and a small team for a brief mission before we blow the ring. They'll first head to your ship to collect four of your HAVOK nuclear warheads, before flying a Pelican to place them on the structural points that we will be attacking with our Shiva Nuclear-tipped Missiles...They'll return safely, and we can proceed to destroy this thing."

Before adding further content to their conversation, he briefly typed in several commands, sending a few messages to different Marines with their orders conerning their last mission around Theta Halo, one being to prep a Pelican for launch. After doing so, he shifted his attention to the monitor in front of him, which showed images of their last Longswords returning to their respective ships for protection. This quickly prompted another message, which issued two of his Longsword figthers to protect the Pelican as it remained near the ring, since several things could go wrong if it was left alone.

"Understood. I must thank you Vincent, for the save with the Capital ship. Behalf of myself and my crew, we all thank you."
"Don't thank me until we've successfully destroyed this thing...That's the only time when we've saved anyone." He made a brief gesture to the Lieutenant at the COM's Controls, indicating that she should send the orders for the rest of their battle group to distance themselves from the predicted blast radius, while the Titan would remain close to retrieve their only forces that are near the ring.

"Alright. Understood. Now, What are the orders for us? I think that since you came up with these plans, you carry them out. What shall we do?"
"Take your ship and the two Frigates out and get a good distance from us. Set up an safe perimeter, and set up some steady patrols with your Longsword fighters for when we return. You'll have a nice view of the blast from a safe distance, and you'll be creating a safe area for the Titan and the Covenant Carrier to return to."

"Alright, do you have the firing trajectory for my missles?
"Of course. We've already plotted the exact firing positions for the Titan and the Covenant Carrier, so it's pretty much impossible for anything to go wrong...Unless the Covies themselves show up to ruin our fun, we can't screw this up."

"Eh, you know those Covie Bastards, always spoiling our fun. Now, shall we get started?"
"Getting started now would be a good idea. The sooner the better. Distance yourselves from the ring. I wouldn't worry about the Covenant if I were you, since you'll be protected by our other two ships. Get a safe distance, send out some Longswords to cover you, and lock onto the target. We'll be firing once the EVA team returns."

Now with their good lucks said and done, he cut off their private channel and went back to checking every firing angle and possibility for something to go horribly wrong, finding very few possibilities as he did. With all of this complete, he simply had to wait for the report from the hangar that the Pelican and two Longswords had returned safely in order to get their final operation underway.
