Kandizar, sheild in hand as a sign of his weariness, slowly approched the castle. He had heard roumors of a missing persons somewhere near here and was hoping to be hired for a search and rescue job. Those were always his favorite. As he approached he took a deep breath and let it out in a low wistle. "Sure is an impressive castle" he said aloud to himself.

Out of plain boredom the women wondered to Opal castle. She was always welcomed even now in her circumstance. As she walked in she was holding her basket of food. She had not stopped off to Ruby castle since she would be imprisoned once more. She smelt the air and closed her souless eyes. The food smelt wonderful and she was starving. She over heard Kandizar and decided to inform him about the castle. "The castle was built about the same time the current 'King of Dragons' father was entering his reign. It was built or rather carved into the mountain and the Royals lived here. However, being a great kingdom causes great problems soon Ruby Castle began to attack not even 100 years ago and it has gotten so bad that they sent their princess into hiding. No one knows where she is and that is how the king wishes it to stay. His wife died protecting here about....3 years ago." She said in a brief history. She smiled and bowed, "My name is BlackFeather...and yours?"

Startled by the woman, Kandizar clumsily bowed in return and blushed for being caught off his guard. "Good lady" he said with a sweeping gesture "I am known as Kandizar, Guardian of the weak and Protector of treasures." He gave her a genuine smile, "And what was that you said about the King Of Dragons? Has he really sent his daughter into hiding against her will? Who had killed his wife?" Kandizar's questions spilled forth eagerly from his mouth, then he stopped. "ahh, Forgive me for my manners." he rustles around in his knapsack for a moment and produces a small bread roll. "Would you like something to eat? I know that I am absolutely famished." He smiles again, blushing.

She laughed. "I will eat when I get home. This is the king of wolves home. I only used the King of Dragon because it sets the timeline. His magesty wife died because of this war. His child is safe as far as anyone knows and I heard she deals with it." She decided it not that wise to talk wit hthe collar on so she let her aruas eat it as usual. "I'm not from this kingdom, but my family has good tied with them." She lloked at the sun then sighed. "I must be heading back to the castle...Who knows when 'Master' will get back and want to play with his 'dolly'..."She said emphasizing these words.

Kandizar paused, slowly putting the bread roll away. "Master? Dolly? What names are these? Surely you are not some man's play thing!" Kandizar drew himself upright to create a suprisingly frightful sight. His pride showing with every movement he made.

"Me...afaird so.... you see a while ago I traded myself to him in return to let my best friend and her father be as well as my father...Fair trade...He got a princess and I got the knowledge that he isn't pestering my friends and family..." Blackfeather said. "That's why I'm in this getup." She implied the fancy dress.

Kandizar looked at her darkly "No man should willingly let a lady take his place in suffering. Furthermore! No man should trade intelligent creatures for other such intelligent creatures into this sort of slavery!" his voice had become almost a shout. He continued to look darkly at her for a few moments, then, realizing that he was glairing at a woman, he blushed again and his rough face lightened a bit to a smile. "Your dress does make you look quite lovely. Why dont you take me to meet this 'master' fellow?" He had said the word 'master' as if saying the word was like ingesting rotten onions. Kandizar smiled his charming smile again.

"Nay, I will fight my own battles. As I said I traded myself. Her father has been in a unconsious position for several years from what I recollect. My father is old and wouldn't be an interest to such a man as the Fire Lord. But he, my father, is still in his youth...Yet he has an important role." She said reassuring him and protecting her father's name. "As I said though...I must be going...but let me get you a room for the night." It took all but a few seconds. She knocked on the door and a Lady appeared. She discussed something with her and then turned back to Kandizar. "She will take you to a room and give you a meal." She bowed and began to walk away. As she did her aura became visible and engulfed her.
"Mr. Kandizar...How on earth did you have the guts to speak with Miss Blackfeather! I can barely look into those souless eyes without termbling. She is the Princess of Dragons you know...and also considered still one of the top assasins of this time." The maid said to him once she was gone.

Kandizar looked to where Blackfeather had disapeared for a few seconds then turned to the Lady. "Good Lady" he bows deeply "Please just call me Kandizar, there's no need to be so formal." He straitens himself and readjusts his gear. "Forgive me for sounding quite ignorent however I am still very confused on this government. As I understand it the Princess of Dragons should not need to be an assasin. Much less a nice young lady like herself! Though it would explain why she would not first cower from my appearence like so many men do! Oh Ho! And her eyes..." he looks back to where she disapeared "could do with a bit of understanding from a stranger." he winks at the Lady just as his stomach grumbles. "Ahh, it has been a long journey... " he says blushing and smiling sheepishly.

"Sir, I am but a humble maid...I must say things formaly...However, Lady Blackfeather's sister can fill you in if you wish. Someone say her early this morning heading to a library. If she is good spirits she may tell you what you want to know. Come I'll take you to her now..." The maid said as she led him to an enormous Library and began to call out. "Miss Eve I have brought you some company it you are in good spirits. He wishes to know about your family."
A book was being slammed and set down. High heels then were clopping closer. A women with Yellow eyes and white hair appeared wearing something even more exrtavagent then Blackfeahter's outfit. "Yes...I guess I can entertain for a while." She said as she gazed at him. She didn't fear him one bit and as she turn about and walked back to where she was reading motioned him to follow. She sat down made herself comphy the spoke. "So what do you wish to know Mr....I'm sorry did I get your name?"

Kandizar knelt down beside Eve in another bowing gesture "My Lady, I am Kandizar. I whish to know, if you would tell me, about your family and the government aroung here. Why did the Lady Blackfeather refer to herself as a doll? And who is this master? I do apologise for all of my questions, however I am truely confused on what is going on around here." He looked up at her with pleading, curious eyes.

"Well Kandizar, my father is the king of dragons as you seem to already know. I will answer your last two questions first. About a month or two ago My father brought in a strange man, he seemed alive but as we soon discovered there was no soul. Thus my Father went to search for one, but not before telling me the story. Blackfeahter had asked him to come and assist her in saving her friend from an ashy gateway. The gateway as my father said was actually a gateway to Ruby Castle where the Fire Lord lives and he had been trying to woo Ayane though all he was doing was filling her heart with false promises of her father becoming conscious once more. However, a vessel without a soul is incapable of such things. Thus during their break in the Fire Lord sensed their auras, the fools for haveing such powerful power and trying to sneak in, that is when Blackfeahter decicded it would be better if she occupied him since my father was no good to her if he was the distraction. As she occupied him she made a deal. Her for her father, Ayane, and Ayane's Father and she would be his doll. A doll is like what a young child plays with, dresses up, Does its hair, and basically makes it do whatever they want the dolly to do. That is what Blackfeather is to the Fire Lord." She stopped and took a sip of her tea before she finished up her answer. "Blackfeather knew that the Fire Lord was strong...and with Ayane sick as well as Ayane's father she knew how to set them free. The Fire Lord is not one you should mess with exspecially when Blackfeather has to obey him...Until she feels the time is right and even a half Dragon like herself will know when that is. Does that answer you last two questions before I start answering your first?"

Kandizar thought for a minute, trying to take in all of this horrifying information "What man would cower behind and use women in such a fashion." he mumbled. Clearing his throat he then says for clairification reasons "So Miss Lady Blackfeather must do whatever this Fire Lord says, to free her father, her good friend Miss Lady Ayane and her father. Or rather, her father's body whos soul has gone missing. " He paused, still stunned at this data. "This ashy gateway, It connects Ruby Castle with... where?" He shook his head "No, I am asking too many questions. Please continue or correct me if I have anything wrong." He looked into her eyes, his own entirely focused on her and her story.

"The gateway is gone...It was once in miss Ayane's home hidden behind her basement door. Ayane's father is the one souless or my father wouldn't be able to tell me...And she has already let them escape...but in order to keep him from bothering Ayane she stays." Eve corrected.
