Welcome to the newest rp thread in this little guild here, The Exiles! This little idea spawned from Ginko, and given the green light by others who also find this to be a welcome divergence from the normal restrictions of the other RP.
Background
After the kids in Evo had matured into adulthood, a mutant was discovered. His name was Timewarp. He had the insane power of being able to travel in time. Unfortunately he couldnt always control it. During a battle members of the X-men and Brotherhood were sent forward in time 200 years. The world had changed. Big time. Humans no longer existed in this world. Only mutants and other creatures. Vampires, werewolves harpies and other creatures fight daily to hold the already shallow control they have on the world. Its a dog eat dog world out there with constant fights between the wolves, the vampires, and the mutants getting constantly caught in the middle. Mutants, taking place of the normal human, are populous with varying powers. The Brotherhood and X-men manage to land in a forest where their home once was. While walking through, a few of the stranded mutants discover Cirrus, a large city filled with mutants and some vampires ect that actually live tentively together.
In this RP we're looking for anyone who wishes to join. You may be brotherhood or xmen. Or be one of the mutants or creatures from the future. Please pm MYSELF or NOKOMIS MIDNIGHT if you wish to join this RP!

OOC: Now...for the real deal.
IC: A week had past, and Jacen had found himself wandering God knows where along the countryside of wherever they were at. He was surprised at another thing. Kim was with him at this present time. Sure, they were all in the battle together, but....he didn't understand why if everyone else was split up, why was Kim with him?
"Jacen....honey...what's wrong," she asked while looking ahead still. She could obviously sense that something was not right with him.
"I just want to find our friends, Kim," Jacen said while peering into the wooded area to the left of their path. They had been walking for the better part of five days, ever since they were transported to this strange new world. "We need to get home." She didn't say anything, but Jacen knew she wanted to get home...moreso than he did. Not that Jacen didn't want to, but he felt strangely at ease here....like it was his home away from home.
"Carry me, please? My feet are hurting right now." Jacen didn't think twice as he scooped her up in his arms and carried her effortlessly down the path further. While they were walking, Jacen heard some rustling in the bushes and stopped dead in his tracks. He'd seen alot of weird things the past few days on the road....everything from Satyrs, Centaurs, and even a adolescent minotaur, but what was in the bush was very unsettling. Jacen couldn't see what it was, but he saw a darkened form moving swiftly back into the woods.
"Kim....we're not alone," he said as he set her on her feet and stood cautiously in front of her to act as a shield. "Be on your guard...." Then he was tackled down to the ground hard. What happened was all too fast. He heard Kim's screams as something rushed her as well, and that drove Jacen to fight this...thing...whatever it was. It walked like a man, but looked wolfen. He knew they weren't in a normal place, considering all the mythical creatures that he saw, but...he wasn't sure if this was truly real. Of course, the pain as he felt a set of teeth sink deep into his forearm told him he was surely awake.
"You wanna attack me...then attack Kim?," Jacen said as he kicked the wolf over his head, though his arm was nowhere near freed from the beast's jaws. "No," he said after flipping back and burying his knee deep in the wolf's chest, "We won't be doing that." Then, he took a few swipes to his face while worming his arm behind the wolf's neck. The creature still didn't let go of his bite. "Fine...it's your funeral."
With only a little bit of pressure, and his free arm as the fulcrum, he snapped the wolf's neck like a toothpick. The wolf bit down harder before completely letting go of his bite. Still convulsing, Jacen stood up slowly, feeling a bit of nausea set in and looked at his blood-soaked arm. There were four deep gouges where teeth torn into the muscle. If it were anyone else, they would have panicked. This was just an everyday thing for him, it seemed. Though, what he saw next made him outright sick and furious at the same time.
There was yet another wolf digging into Kim's abdomen, her blood was pooling around her prone frame rather expediantly. Jacen didn't waste anytime, he fired off a heavy blast, knocking the wolf into a nearby tree. Feeling an intense rage building, Jacen charged hard at the wolf and pinned him up against the tree and started to rail the creature with hard elbows to the head. "You sonuvabitch!!!
He kept striking the creature repeatedly until he withdrew his blade and stabbed him heavily in the stomach. Of course, the creature did manage to bite Jacen on the shoulder and cut his chest up a bit, but that wasn't his concern. Kim was his concern. Feeling content that he had done enough damage to the wolfen duo, he stumbled wearily over to where Kim was laying. The blood around her was getting thicker, and she was hardly breathing. When he took her hand into his, she looked at him one last time and just smiled brightly. She mouthed a few words before she closed her eyes one final time, and coughed out her last breath. Feeling a lone tear creep into the corner of his eye, he kissed her hand one last time before picking her lifeless body up. Sure, she may have been the victim of tragedy, but he'd be damned of he'd let this spot be her final resting place. And so he wandered further and deeper down the path.
What felt like an hour had passed. Jacen's mind was swimming due to something, but he couldn't place it. Was it the loss of Kim that made him feel like this? Was it the loss of blood he sustained? He tried to shake the cobwebs away as he noticed a small opening in a hillside. It looked like someone had been there, but not in a long, long time. ".....Perfect."
Upon entering the cavernous abode, Jacen could barely make out the earthen walls. Part of the blessing of his pure black eyes. Nightvision. Not remarkable by any means, but it was enough to make him able to see decently in the dark. While he walked forward with Kim still in his arms, he felt his leg hit something hard. He looked down and saw what appeared to be a stone structure of somekind. Like some huge stone bed. He couldn't quite make out the designs on the piece, but he knew there were designs. Carefully, he laid Kim down on the stone slab and crossed her arms over her bloodied stomach. Her blood stopped flowing as profusely as it once was, though it didn't stop entirely. And he sat down with his back to the cavern wall. He was exhausted. The past few days of virtual non-stop travel, now this.
Still feeling an intense dizziness fall over him, coupled with a vicious hunger, Jacen rested his head on his folded arms and sighed quietly. He didn't want to cry, though he felt an deep sorrow.
Before he closed his eyes to welcome slumber, he quietly said, "Goodbye hon...I'll see you someday...."

Amaya had been asleep for what felt like ages. She wanted to continue to sleep but the feeling of life flowing from someone into her was waking her. She had laid in that crypt for ages and finally she was awake. She barely had enough room to sit up before moving the top of the crypt knocing whatever was ontop of it off and sitting up. She could see the wolf bites on the boy but knew he would wake soon. It didnt take much. Werewolves could heal rather quickly. ( for this rp at least >_>)

Jacen tried to keep his ears open at least while he rested. He thought that who or whatever it was that attacked him would follow the scent of blood....or even Kim's corpse. He needed to be ready to defend himself. Unfortunately, he wound up just falling into a deep sleep.
While he dreamt, his mind flashed the darkened landscape constantly. There were distant howls that seemed to creep closer while he looked around out of fright. He had no idea what could make those sounds, they were unearthly. Then...he saw a dozen sets of eyes creep out of the encroaching darkness until he saw a dozen humanoid wolves circle him. He looked as if he was going to be attacked until they all knelt and bowed their heads in respect. "What..is this....," he thought as he looked at his hands and saw they were twice the size they once were, covered with fur, and were also clawed. He panicked. He didn't know why, but he couldn't move from where he stood, and started to scream. Though it came out of his throat as deep wolfen howl which the circle of twelve responded with their own howls. <********!," Jacen said loudly to himself as he woke up suddenly. He felt weird. Very weird. His hunger pangs grew substantially and he could hardly think straight. Then, he felt someone's presence. It too wasn't earthly by the slightest measure. Instinctively, he jumped back to his feet and tried to take a defensive posture but his wounds were too significant for him to just go on fighting without a good burst of adrenaline. There stood a woman, with a youthful appearance but he could tell that she wasn't just a young lady. There was something about her. While he looked this woman over, he could tell she was someone of importance. She wore the look on her face.
He sat down again and looked up at her. "I'm...sorry. I...I'm just overly cautious," he said while he looked over and saw the lid to...a crypt on the ground? Jacen felt resigned now. He took a deep breath, exhaled and just lowered his gaze to the ground. He felt his time was up. First, being attacked by those wolves and now....a vampire of all things. This place was weird, he knew that much, but he didn't know exactly how weird. That was why he liked it. He just didn't bargain on this strange land being his burial ground.

Jerrod had been walking forever it seemed, he had lost his way from his friends when he was thrown into this timeline, he had been walking for a eek, trying to find himself some civilization, that didn't consist of vampires or wearwolves that wanted to kill him.
"I realy hope everybody else is safe..." Jerrod said as he noticed a carrage aproaching him, it was being guided by two white horses, the man sitting on the carrage looked like he was an oldman, human in nature. "Excuse me sir... how much longer down this path will i come to a town?" Jerrod asked politely.
"Sorry but there is no town back there... only a crypt... and i'm sure you don't want to be messing with vampires." The man said.
"Let him into the carrage we'll take him back to our village" A voice called from inside. The man on the carrage got off and opened the door to the carrage, he waved his other hand to signal Jerrod into the carrage.
"I think I'll be fine alone thank you..." Jerrod said as politely as possible, then a mans head leaned out the into the open doorway. His face was gray in color, long and distinguished as a rich type.
"Don't be such a fool...Get in!" the man demanded. His eyes flashed as yellow color, then his head seemed to disappear into the carage once again. i don't like where i'm getting myself, i just need to keep a clear mind on this guy and if he tries anything, he'll get fried to a crisp Jerrod thought and smirked as he stepped into the carrage, to see that the man was shadowed within his side of the carrage, no light was being emited into this carrage, which unsettled Jerrod even more.

Amaya stood and smoothed out her clothes a wry smirk on her face. " Hm it seems you have stumbled into the wrong crypt young one. " She said her voice heavy with accent. Her clothes were obvious egyptian and by the jewels on her wrists ankles and neck she was some form of royalty. Floating down to the ground she walked over to the boy. " My name is Amaya...you should be glad im not hungry. "

This had not been a good week for Jarvis, not that he had many good weeks. But his one had been especially worse. This is what happens when you try and help your fellow mutants. He reached up and petted Pyro on the head, a little demonic-looking creature he presumed was something like an imp. It was about the size of a dog, but looked like an overly thin monkey with small horns and a barbed tail. It was a bony thing, and had quite a bad temper... which is why he had named it Pyro, after a friend he had had quite a while back with an equally bad temper. Jarvis couldn't figure out what color it was, but liked to imagine it blood red, for Jarvis couldn't see. A curse of his power.
Pyro wrapped it's tail around Jarvis's neck, the leathery skin tickling the small hairs on the back of the Archmage's neck. Jarvis brushed away some overgrown vegetation with his staff and found the forest had ended. He had noticed the trees getting further and further apart, so he figured the forest would end soon, and so it did. Not that he could see anything over the clearing, he was blind, atleast out to ten feet. For Jarvis had power over gravity up to about ten feet and he could see the gravitational pull up to about there, but nothing beyond. If he focused, he could increase the range of his gravitational sight, but it was strenuous and often left him with a headache.
Jarvis raised his gravity shield: an invisible force of gravity that completely surrounded him not letting anything affected by gravity get near him, and started hovering down the clearing. After the past week, he had decided it best to stay defensive... his first meal, a harmless looking little deer, had decided that it would spit acid at him, and the rest of the creatures of that forest hadn't been much better.
OOC: Damn, ran out of time... I'll talk more wednesday (no time tomorrow)

"Come on doggie! Come on widdle doggie woggie widdle cuddlekins! Comawiddiebiddiedoggiewoggie snookerkins! Comawoobieloobiedoobie"
The Werewolf snarled angrilly, and lunged foward at Alex, ready to tear another of his limbs off. And once again, with his one good arm (the other one was still growing back), he blasted the wolf with a shotgun, sending it sprawling several dozen feet away. Of course, it was regenerating just about as fast as Alex was.
"You are just the cutest little doggie ever!" he shouted with genuine glee. "Once you pass through shotgun obedience school you're gonna be the bestest man's best friend ever! We'll tour the desolate wastelands! They will sing the song of our exploits! Agent X and Snugglekins! You like that name right Snugglekins?"
Snugglekins responded in silence, so Alex shot him again. "Yes you do! You're the best doggie! Lets go start our adventure!" he said with a psychotic grin, and walked in some random direction, dragging the monster behind him.
After all... he had no idea what the hell brought him here, but he didn't care. He had Snugglekins! Life was gravy. Hmm... imps might be tasty with gravy...
Alex planned out the recipe in his head as Snugglekins dug his claws into the psychopath's back. "Aww Snugglekins needs a nappy!" he said in a mock scold as he shot it again.

Amaya didnt wait for the boy to answer. The noise she heard attracted her. Walking outside into the moonlight she was suprised at how much had changed. She watched the man battle with the werewolf and how the strange weapon worked. She didnt care if she was noticed or not.

Marcus wandered around the forest very slowly. His mind told him that the were creatures everywhere, espically werewolfs. Isn't this my luck. I'm headed to the city and I get lost in the forest. And to top it off, I can her this shotgoing of and in my head I hear the nutcase with the gun. I'm gotta close his thoughts out of my mind. Marcus thought to himself. He was so focused on getting the man's thoughts outta of his head that he didn't realize where he was going into he finished. Finally. Now all I hear are ther creatures that are near me... Where am I, Marcus thought to himself as he looked around. It looks like some kinda temple or crypt he thought to himself as he continued his search around the place. It caught him off gaurd when he ran into the crazy man he'd been hearing in his head, and someone else.

Crystal yawned from her perch in a comfortable tree. A befriended snake had curled up into a bed for her to sleep fitfully in and the noises from a sudden fight woke her from a deep sleep.
What the hell is going on in the forest? she wondered, petting the snake and hopping lightly to the ground to investigate the noises.

Marcus couldn't believe all the noise that was going on. He looked at the man as he pulled the trigger. He's gonna have to take that noise somewhere else if I'm to get some sleep He thought to himself as hs stopped the bullet from hitting the wolf. Then using his mind, he snatched the gun away from the man and threw it into the forest. "Hey man, I really couldn't care less who you killed, just do it far away from here. I'm tired and ready to go to sleep, but I can with all that noise that gun of yours is making. I'm sure you have another with you, but this time put a silencer on it, and don't yell so loud. That's the only real things I want from you. After that you can do whatever you want to the thing," Marcus said as he sat down and leaned back on a tree.

Alex whimpered as his gun got pulled away. "Aww, my bang-stick flew away. Snugglekins! Fetch boy!"
Immediately, Alex's newly regrown arm was torn off. Alex stared at it emotionlessly, then picked it up, chucking it at the telekinetic. Snugglekins charged off after it.
"Whee! Pointless carnage!" Alex cried gleefully, ready to clap. Actually, he only had one arm again, so he really just looked like some giggling bald guy with down syndrome, but he was happy, and as always, that's what was important.
