This is Huge for Rey Mysterio not only he proven that he can win the Heavyweight Title...He also proves his doubters wrong, even Rey is a lighweight he still compete with the Heavyweight and the best of em'. I Don't believe that this is result of the Charity works Rey Mysterio have wrestle long enough and he Deserves the Title shot...and Really Deserves to be World heavyweight Champ...he showed us Heart and Determination and now his No longer the Underdog Rey-Rey is the Champ!

Soothsayer Jeckal This upsets me more than words can describe. I just don't see it working having him fight Batista (who claims he'll be back very soon). How would that look?! I wish Angle would have retained. I'm very happy for Rey on a personal level really. It's a great venue and it's such an honor to win. I just don't see it fitting in storyline very well.

I'm really pleased for Rey personally but am kinda wondering how long *or short* his title reign will be?
Randy Orton is aimed to be the next champion, as if it had stayed Kurt Angle vs Randy Orton then Orton would have been the next champion. Rey is just one of those guys who was lucky enough to get a title reign due to the fact he has been plugging Eddie Guerrero needlessly.
Rey and the writers, and countless others, have destroyed he memory of Eddie Guerrero.

I think he's gonna start a feud with batista because he said that he'll come back for his title. I think its paart of some type of keyfabe

Rey Mysterio is not Lucky because of the charity works, Rey deserves the title shot he's been in the WWE for long won a lot of matches even againts the tops wrestlers and he worked hard to earn his title shot. now Lil' Rey is the World Heavyweight Champ! 3nodding

Rey deserves to have that title and he won it. His first title defence will be against Randy Orton and i don't see him losing the title for a very long time.

I also think Rey is going to hold the Title for a long time. I see a lot of good feuds for him. Randy is one of them, Orton is a good cocky heel. Maybe If Triple H gets drafted from RAW to SmackDown! he could start a fued againts the Game remember Royal Rumble 2006? 3nodding

Man... I hope Big show goes to SD, and steps on him.
I trew a pice of Candy at the TV when I saw that happen. It was a good match though. O thought Angle, or Orton had it won so many times.

in all the feds Mysterio has been part of, he's never held the major championship despite his awesome talent and explosive ringwork, this guy not only deserved to win the championship, but he deserved to win the championship at the biggest stage of them all! WRESTLEMANIA so to all those that didn't believe in him, consider this a gesture from Carlito as WWE spits in your face!
