ACTIVITIES

The day was starting off a bit cooler than Ray had hoped. Though the weather had been quite warm all week, he worried that it wouldn't warm up enough to be able to enjoy the pool in the creek. He'd been wanting to take a swim for some time now.

He turned on his boom box, playing a mellow celtic CD, set on random, and found a place on one of the large rocks surrounding the creek's pool. He'd hidden quite a few ceramic clovers through out the surrounding area, but had kept one to place on the table next to the written instructions about the clover game, incase anyone should show up to host while he was out running the few errands for his mother that he was left to do over the long weekend. He fidgeted with the clover in his hands, rolling it back and forth between his fingers. It shone bright green against his dark tan hands, twined with green veins.

He glanced up at the angel at the opposite end of the glade. He knew she was watching him. He shivered a bit, wondering what else she had in mind for him... for all of them... before forcing his mind back to the party he was supposed to be hosting.

He'd brought a large ice chest, and a few of the snack trays... but most the perishable foods and the best traditional Irish dishes he'd ordered were still at the shop. He'd bring them down when the others arrived.

His upcomming trip was weighing heavily on him, as much as he wanted to be cheerful for this party. He was sure to meet new simulacrum... that was the whole point of the party... Then why did he feel so down about the whole thing?

He sighed, knowing the answer. Because he'd be leaving again soon, and he'd miss out on all the fun again... and he'd feel like an outsider all over again when they returned.

Sometime after falling asleep when she had left the dinner party early, having felt a bit tired, she found herself in...the glade? At first she wasn't quite sure; it seemed familiar, but yet she could have sworn she was on the cruise. Everything seemed so real. Stepping further into the glade, she noticed all of the 'party equipment' and had to think back to what it was.

"Oh yes, the party." she reminded herself silently while she pondered over how she got here. That part was a bit hazy and odd. Although really, how odd was it? Afterall, she came from a mirror.

Letting those questions fall from her mind, she walked forward more, looking around for who all was there. "Ray? Is that you?" She asked when her brown/tan eyes fell on the boy.

Ray was quickly surprised by the unexpected appearance of ... Sarria? How strange! He stood, brushing off his clothes, going to where Sarria stood, her form almost seeming to flicker around teh edges. Wasn't she on the cruise?

"Uh, yeah... it's Ray... But... How're you here? I'd heard you'd left for a cruise?" He shook his head, quickly realizing that he might have sounded a bit rude. "Though I'm thrilled you made it!" He dug the ceramic clover from his pocket, and put it in her hand. He gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and winked.

"It's a game." He explained. "Who ever finds a clover has to find someone to kiss."

It was then that he noticed a second girl... with cool tan skin that seemed freckled with stars, dressed in white... with wings and a halo of stars. He blinked, thoroughly distracted by the new arrival.

"Yes, I"m Ray..." he stuttered, answering her. "You must be Ardre?" Wow... he thought. Was she an angel, or a goddess? He felt almost compelled to kneel before her, as one would a goddess in a temple. Instead, he simply bowed, bending at the waist as he'd learned in the courts of the Elven. "It's nice to finally meet you. Thank you so much for coming. Have you met Sarria?" He motioned to the other girl, who seemed to flicker around the edges.

"I'm not sure. I'm really not sure. It is a bit odd isn't it? I was on the cruize, then the next thing I knew I was here." She told him, then began to smile when he did, "Thank you. I'm glad I could make it. I'd never pass up a chance to visit the glade or my fellow Simu."

That was when something she definately hadn't expected took place. She liked to think she was often prepared for the unexpected, but she was wrong. She took a few steps back from Ray and looked at him oddly, "What wa--" Half way through her question, she got the explanation and felt herself relax, "Oh, a game?"

Turning her gaze to the clover that was now in her hands she narrowed her eyes almost suspiciously, "I'm...not supposed to do anything with this now right? Since you were the one that found it?"

Hearing him talking to someone else she tore her eyes away from the ceramic clover in her hands and also felt herself stunned when she saw the beautiful teen. "I don't belive we've met." She told Ray in response to his question and Ardre for half of her greeting. Giving Ardre a friendly smile she said, "Hello. It's nice to meet you. I'd be Sarria."

As the other teens at talked, Ardre settled herself on the ground, amid a bed of tiny purple flowers in bloom. Picking two of them carefully, Hoshi's reflection began to make an intricate flower crown, braiding the stems and flower petals together. Half listening to the quite conversation, and half listening to the workings of a natural gaze, Ardre let her own fingers do the work, letting herself relax in the cool atmosphere.

And finally, there was someone Ardre knew! Though, then again, it had been a very small chance that she would have known someone, having only met one other Simu, Kyoko. "Oh, hi Kyoko!" Ardre said with a smile, looking up from her work.

"I'm glad to meet you too, Ardre." Kyoko responded friendly, while looking at the clover in Sarria's hands. What an interesting idea...wasn't it ? Hiding clovers, oh well. Although she thought it was a bit childish she still smiled at Ray. "See you soon then."

"This would be a great meditation place." She announced and looked at the walls, wondering about the glade's origin.
