Heather frowned sitting alone on the ground outside of the village stroking what seemed to be a short tuff of fur, her tail. The brown haired girl sighed deeply and looked up nervously trying to hide her stubby fingers from few in the thick fur and wiggling her freshly changed and sore nose. Hopefully no one would see her but then, why didn't she just go inside instead of showing herself as blantly as she did?

Nose twitching, taking in the scents around her. A brown body of fur walked, no, stalked across the village. Not in the mood to hunt, but still unable to keep herself from looking as if she were.
Evan picked up the scent, licking her 'lips' as she followed her nose. A chinchila... delicious.
She shook her head, the Fossa wouldn't win this battle. Her tail swished from side to side. The girl's back was in view.
Go ahead. No one would miss her. After all, you're higher in the food chain. Fangs bared, she crept closer.
"Are you alright?" Evan asked, stepping up next to the girl and sitting, her tail curling next to her. By no means non-morphic. Since her change, Evan had found it easier to just walk on all fours. Her now short black hair bobbed carelessly infront of her left eye.

The girl's head darted up, pupils shrinking to almost nothing. A predator; her mind screamed for her to run instead she let out a soft barking noise before nodding nervously. "Ye-yes I'm fine. " She noticed the girl sat much like a dog. "I'm just sore.. I ju-just changed last night."

Tail twitching, she nodded, her nose shifting.
"It's a painful process..." She said, not seeming very sympathetic, she looked around, cautiously. Humans were the only predator of the Fossa; something she kept an eye out for, and a weary eye on. Who knows when they would ambush her and kill her, simply for her fur. A purr escaped her and she looked back at the girl.
"I'm Evan," She began, grinning as she could practically smell the fear of a predator around her, "There's no need to be afraid. I'm not hunting... today."

Heather's ears went painfully down against her head. There was no sympathy in her voice instead she seemed intent on looking out for something. A pack of whatever she was maybe? Another irrate bark worked its way up from her throat.
"Yes...very painful..." Her fingers interwined in the dense fur of her tail. Upon hearing the other's name she gave a meek smile. "I'm Heather...." Not hunting today? Gee, that sounded great. The rodent shifted uncomfortably and scooted backward slightly. "O-oh really? I don't have a taste for meat anymore... mostly grass or seeds......"

"It's nice to meet you." She was up, padding softly a few feet away. The Fossa didn't win. She gave the girl some distance so she wouldn't feel uncomfortable, and besides, she wanted to stretch out.
With a lazy plop, she was on the ground, her tail twitching again.
"I guess you've been here a while, then... I don't think I'll be changing again." She gave a half hearted shrug.
"I very much doubt a rodent would be interested in meat," she said, with a toothy grin, "Just like a Fossa wouldn't be interested in Vegetables."
She stretched, her nails extending and running along the ground, scratching, as she yawned, taking in the sun.
"How did you get here?"

Heather watched ,as the whatever she was, walked away a couple of feet to apparently soak up the sun. She snugged her face down into her tail and nodded. "Yah, I have a few rodents. Chinchillas.... I love them dearly." She muttered until the second question was asked.
How did you get here? The woman blushed and closed her eyes. "I ....accepted to apply for an experiment... I guess I got what I wanted, huh?" A dumb move on her part. Did she always have to screw things up?
"What about you?"

If her brows were still human, Heather would have noticed it cocked. She wanted to be here? Hmph. Serves her right.
"I guess you did," She started, now she knew she wouldn't be sympathetic to her. If she wanted to be a part of this, then frankly, in Evan's mind at least, she deserved it.
How did I get here? Pure ignorance. she thought. But, that wouldn't sound too good, so she considered it a moment.
"I won a raffle. Trip for two weeks to this place. They said it was an adventurer's paradise. Treasure trails, all that jazz. If I knew then that I'd be turned into a lab rat, I would have reconsidered getting tickets."
She looked around again, now she was getting hungry. Fossa wanted to hunt. She looked at the ground, and tried not to meet Heather's gaze. That was just what the animal in her wanted. A chance to attack. A low growl rumbled in the depths of her throat.

Heather nodded dumbly agreeing with what the girl said. A raffle? That was a bad way to get pulled into this mess. "Yah... I thought it'd be... I don't know what I thought it'd be but it wasn't this...." She lifted her claws to her face and sighed. "At least I'm fuzzy I guess...."
Her rabbit-like ears shot up when the fossa growled. Oh s**t! Ohshitohshitohshit! The chinchilla part of her mind screamed wanting nothing more then to run into the duplex and hide. "Um.... are you...okay?" Heather asked nervously her tail swishing painfully behind her. The girl didnt sound... happy. A light bark of warning escaped her slightly agape mouth as she bristled up. Dash from the danger? Her eyes scanned the duplex's around. Maybe someone left theirs open?

Her low growl slowly got louder as her instincts found their grip on her, they could smell the fear now practically radiating off Heather, her eyes picking up the tail swishing in near-panic.
"Don't panic," She hissed, her eyes closed now, her head facing away."Just get up and start walking," Another growl, the Fossa was getting antsy.
She started getting up, and got to her feet. Staring at the ground, and pacing back and forth. She wasn't going to let it win this time. She was beginning to like this girl.
"I'll come see you, when I have this out of my system."

Aurora walked out of her Duplex. she had herd some people talking and theat had woken her up she had noticed that she had been sleeping in. that was unlike her though she guessed it must have to do with how her new mind set. Aurora streched and let her green eyes get used to the light. she then noticed two other girls one seemed to be paceing back and forth she had met that girl befor. Her name was Evan that was right. Aurora walked over calmly her golden tail and now she was covered in a light golden fur.
"Hay Evan," Aurora said happly though she relised the other girls reaction and relised it may not be a good ideah to talk to Evan.

Another, much more threatening growl emitted. This wasn't good. Evan had to get away from them, or she'd end up hurting one of them. Part of her liked the idea, and couldn't wait. But the other part was fighting with all its strength to prevent this.
She didn't want to look; but she heard that voice before. Aurora, wasn't that her name? It didn't matter then.
She sat down roughly, and kept her eyes closed. It was calming down, only slightly.
"...Hey..."

She backed up a little she relly wished she was in a tree so that she would have an the ability to hide in some way. Though Aurora was still the stronger one of the two personalities "Evan are you ok, you do not look that good."
Aurora remembered that Evan had been on the island longer than she had thought Aurora had never found out what her friend was turning in to.
Aurora farced her self to walk forward and sit infront of Evan, Letting her now longer fingers play with her longer toes. She was taking some dirt out of them.

The aroma... Oh the sweet perfume...
Prey. That was all it took, and now the Fossa had taken control. Evan opened her eyes, and glared at the monkey-girl.
"I'm fine... now..." She gave as much of a grin as she could, and growled, she was a good foot or so away from her, she got up and started padding her way towards her. Eyes unmoving, eyes on the prize.
"I'll be better in a minute," She body moved cat-like, her shoulders bobbing up and down as she now stalked.

Watching Evan for a second Aurora knew that she was in truble. Backing up a little by little until she was on her feet again. She did not need to see Evan to relise that if she did not move and get away soon she would be lunch.
Panic was evedent in Aurora;s face she got her self near the trees and started to climb up it. useing her clawed feet and hands to help her get figher in to the tree. "Evan I think you need to think about this a little I mean why don't you go after some thing that is not only skin and bones?"
