Mika'il was resting underneath the tree close to Pride's rock. He was looking for Na'ilah, as it had been many days since their arrival and his feelings for her has grown. She was a lovely lioness and deserved to be loved, he felt. And, he knew he could do just that. He smiled as he spotted her not to far from his resting place and called out, "Na'ilah!"

The green lioness had gotten used to this place just nicely and was starting to love it here. It was like the home she had never had. The lions were very nice and her stomach was always full. Padding her way through the grassy lands, ears flicked forward at the sound of Mika'il's voice. For some reason, whenever Na'ilah is with him, she feels her stomach flutter with happiness. "Yes?"

Mika'il still smiled as he waited for her to come closer. Once she was right in front of him, he stretched before getting up. He rubbed his muzzle against her cheek softly before mumbling softly, "I have something I need to talk to you about." He nodded his head before turning to wander slowly towards the nearest water source, and glanced back to make sure she was following.

At his touch, she felt a chill go down her spine as a smile grew along her features. Lime green eyes looked to the male before Na'ilah had heard his words. Was something up? Padding after him silently, the green lioness was curious as to what he was thinking. In a soft voice, "Is something wrong? Are you alright?"

Mika'il stopped next to the stream and bent his head to get a drink. Once he had drunk his fill, he sat down and watched the water go by. It was some time before he could figure out what he was going to say. He was blunt, and therefore wanted to make this a little more special. "I am fine Na'ilah...I've just come to realize some feelings I have for you." There, he said it and was now waiting to see her reaction.

Lime green eyes widen slightly as the green lioness was standing next to Mika'il. Feelings for her? As in...lovey, romantic feelings? This was all so new to Na'ilah that she wasn't sure how to reaction. Her stomach felt funny and she loved to be with the male, was that love? In a slightly nervous voice she asked, "What do you mean?" She paused before asking the question, "Are these feelings...romantic feelings?"

Mika'il nodded his head slowly, scared as to what she was thinking about because she was so quiet. Was she going to reject him? He's never felt this way around any other female before. "Yes, they are romantic feelings Na'ilah." He turned to look at her, "Ever since I saw you, I knew there was something different about you, and getting to know you, I've come to realize how true that it. You are special to me, Na'ilah."

Special to him? Na'ilah's never been special to anyone. But, she couldn't hide her smile as her tail flicked. This was such a nice change than from everything she's been going through at the moment. Rubbing her cheek against his fluffy mane, she sat right next to the male and thought about her feelings of him.

Mika'il could feel the heat rise to his cheeks at Na'ilah came closer to him. He curled his tail around her and just let her be for a moment. This must be a lot for her to take in, and he'd let her have her space.

After some time of being comforted by Mika'il, the green lioness turned her head slightly to look at the male. With his fluffy mane and well-tuned body, she was lucky to have such a male that wants her. Na'ilah was silent for a little longer as she thought about her feelings and knew that deep down, she cared for the male. In a small voice, she was nervous to say the least, "Mika'il, you're my best friend and I think I do have feelings for you." A brief paused before she continued, "I have my stomach fluttering when I see you and you always make me smile."

Mika'il felt a lot happier and relieved once Na'ilah started talking. The things she talked about made his heart soar. She loved him too! He turned and licked her cheek softly, "Na'ilah, would you be my mate?"

Mate? Oh, the blush rose to her cheeks at the word. To be the company of another lion, it was like a dream come true. At the gentle lick to her cheek, Na'ilah turned and nodded her head slowly. "Yes Mika'il, I will be your mate." Leaning her head against his shoulder, nothing could be better than this at the moment. "I've never thought this would happen...is this real?" It could all be a dream, but this all felt like a dream to her.

Mika'il's smile grew wider as Na'ilah accepted his request. He took his paw and splashed some water on her, "This isn't any more a dream than it is reality, Na'ilah!" He rubbed his cheek against her own., "I'll make you happy, much happier than your past." He wanted a family, that's what he really wanted, but would Na'ilah want that?

At the water, the lioness jumped slightly and yelped. "Hey!" A giggle escaped from her as Na'ilah just replied, "I think this is real." Well, she couldn't just let him get away with that, so she stuck her paw into the water and sprayed the male. "That's for splashing me!" But, as lime green eyes looked to the male, it looked like something was bothering him...what is on his mind? "Is there something on your mind, Mika'il?"

Mika'il shook the water off of him and chuckled, "I'll let you win this time!" It was like a game the two played. He blinked at Na'ilah's question and wondered how she could tell, "Well...I've always wanted a family of my own, but I wasn't sure if you wanted cubs."
