I just got Black. It's pretty fun, the whole fully destructable environment isnt that terribly novel however. I think the story is done pretty well so far (ive only got the... ehh 4th level?). I just hope the 'run and gun' stuff doesnt get too boring halfway through.
Anyways, if the story progresses more it shouldn't burn me out too early.
I really like fps with a really good storyline (ie halflife).
what do you all think?

White pops = annoying
Graphics = orgasmic
Gameplay = decent
Storyline = decent
Its pretty good biggrin

I'm thinking of getting it soon. The only drawback is, from what I've heard, the shortness of the game. :/ Are there different levels of difficulty?

i wanted to play it, but my boyfriend took it back before i got the chance. he said it got repetitive to the point of annoying. *sigh* so he exchanged it for cash...
was it too much to ask to indulge in a little senseless destruction without having to pay for it? crying huh?

yes there is. you first beat it in 'normal' mode, eventually graduating to 'black ops' where you unlock the 'black eye' mode where you have to blow things up for mission objectives. you also unlock a new gun.

I first thought of buying the game, because of the whole 'you can destroy everything' thing, it sounded pretty fun blaugh but then I read it didn't had a co-up or multiplayer option and I'm really looking for a shooter with a multiplayer option.......

some of the physics are unreal though, i blew up a truck, which totally rocked! and the tires were standing upright a few feet from its original point

playing on Hard is awesome! im currently on the Gulag level, after the bridge. sometimes is really hard, like the last part of the asylum level. or those shotgun guys with armor!

Black is such a fun game! I was really surprised with the live action cut scenes at first, had to get used to it but it was really neat. Love the action in the game.

It's worth $20 I'd say. Wouldn't've paid anymore for it though.

Black is a ok game, if you want a really good FPS pick up F.E.A.R i love that game and it almost beats Doom 3 for me.. almost not quite though.
