Brain Bytes Grow Slider Versions: 6 Discs


After Edmark went Public in order to get the resources needed to make their fantastic line of Educational Software for Schools & Homes, they were operating well on their own for 4 years up to 1995 but then in 1996, Edmark was purchased by IBM which lead to the creation of the Brain Bytes Series in hopes of expanding their market. 4 Years after IBM was unable to grasp the concept of Edutainment, they sold Edmark to Riverdeep in 2000 which marked the End of the Edmark Software Company. So in a way, Brain Bytes was Edmark's final product before it closed in 2002.

While the CD is required to install the game, its NOT Required to play the game.

Edmark & Riverdeep Activity Downloads: 3 Applications


During the Early 2000s, 2 years before Edmark closed up shop by Riverdeep, Edamark released some of their activates as Separate Digital Downloads which are based on some of the activities from their Games. I counted 38 of them that was released back then as I have seen them once or twice. However, 3 of them had Growth Sliders while the GeoComputer had an Explore Mode only & the GX-1 Orbital Guide was an Electronic Reference Book from the GX-1 Space Academy Game.

However, unlike Brain Bytes, the progress in the Edmark & Riverdeep Activity Downloads DO NOT save as you need to use a Virtual Machine to bookmark your progress by taking a screenshot or write it down on a piece of paper if you're using a real computer to do so. But I maybe wrong about that as each has one Profile Save.
