{Back Dated to about a week before Come Home To Us, as I forgot to post this.) Cheomseongdae was running across roofs towards her brother's place... She had parked her car in his spare spot, because they planned to get together for a late dinner and dessert, and she was, in fact, close to being late to arrive. She had told him she would be doing some shopping in the area before they met up, and even had some bags in the car to make it look believable, but it would be hard to explain being late when her car was there and the bags were also. There. Already. As such, she was moving fast to get there, only paying attention to any power signatures moving towards her, in case they were Chaos. And while she was a little surprised to feel a signature coming towards her, it was weaker so she was not. Too. Worried about it. She jumped across a gap between two roofs, heading straight for the building next to Dai's place at speed. She knew a place right behind it where she could power down and then walk into the garage so that she could use the elevator. The signature was still heading her way but she just ignored it at this point. By the time whoever it was caught up, she'd be in the alley and probably already powered down. They could find someone else to help them if that was the goal. She had a dinner appointment. She made it to the roof she sought, and hopped down, landing in a spot obscured by a bunch of recycling bins, and cardboard boxes, from view by anyone not directly above her, sighed, and powered down. And heard a voice above her go "THE ********."

Teegarden (and he still was getting used to this, and that name...) was heading home towards his condo to meet his sister for dinner. He figured he had just enough time to jump across to the roof of his building and then down to his balcony, which he left slightly open, where he would power down and head in. He was relieved to not be sensing anyone around him, except for one signature directly in front of him... And he could see them, from where he was. He had no idea who they were but he could at least tell they were not Chaos, so he figured if they got close he'd greet them, but otherwise he really could not care less.
He reached the roof of the building next to his in time to see the other hop down, and he headed that way too... Unlike them, he was going to be going up but the path was near there so he figured he would glance to see who they were, maybe get an idea of other Light operatives in his area. He paused as he glanced down just in time to see them change back and he WOULD have looked away to preserve their privacy but. He caught a glimpse of extremely familiar hair. He froze for a second, staring, then could not help loudly crying out "THE ******** jumped down, landing right in front of her. His sister! His sister was in this ridiculous war! The one thing he had always wanted was for he to be as safe as possible and she was. Out there fighting too! And by the looks of it, had been for quite a lot longer than he had. He stared at her, watching her confused expression... And then powered down himself, before saying "The ********, Seren! Not you too!"

Seren's eyes went wide as the unknown Senshi dropped to the ground in front of her... And then even wider when he powered down and ahhhhhhh ******** it was Dai. This was definitely NOT in her plans for the week, or the month. Hell for the year or her life really. Her baby brother should not have been a Senshi, or even part of this war. She saw the look on his face as he spoke, and she knew he was thinking basically the same thing as she was, and for a moment, she closed her eyes, letting the exhaustion life was filling her with lately pour over her, trying to just let it out in the hopes that it would wash away.
It did not, and she just gave a slow sigh before she said "God damn it, Dai. Of all the things for both of us to be involved in... Alright. We clearly need to talk. How about we change plans a little, and have pizza delivered rather than going out? We can talk at your place, in proper privacy."
She opened her eyes again, to see how he responded, because this was DEFINITELY not a conversation to be had while powered down, on the street in public. Sure, this was a tucked away spot, but there was always the chance of someone showing up. Luckily, he gave a slow nod, then headed straight for the side entrance to his building. Within a very few minutes, they were in his apartment, he was ordering a pizza and she was getting tea made because it was time, it seemed, for a Talk.

Dai watched, waiting for a response. He saw the exhaustion on her face, and wanted to hug her, try to make her feel better, but also at this moment, he could not let himself be distracted by his concern for that. He had a MUCH LARGER concern to worry about right now. Her response took him aback for a second, before he realized the sense of it, and he nodded, following her into his own condo. At least they could have a proper conversation about it here...
He got the pizza ordered, and when she returned with the tea she made, he invited her to sit across from him, before staring for a moment, then, his voice cracking a little, he asked her "How long, Seren? How long have you been a part of the war? Why did you let yourself do this? Surely... You've been through enough, as a kid?"
He did not know how to handle this, especially since she was more powerful than he was and there was no way he could even properly protect her. But gods he wanted to.

Seren sighed in response to his question and said "Six years, actually, though I'm not as active as maybe I would like... My studies and job take up a lot of time, and I do try to make sure to give Nate, you and Remy plenty of time as well." She did not comment on how rare Nate's time for her had been of late, as that was another issue and entirely unrelated. "You, on the other hand, are clearly pretty damn new to this."
She paused, considering him. "At least you're a Senshi. You have a lot of support available to you that honestly the Knights could use. You had the Cat that woke you explain things, you have your phone, and you have powers from the day you were Woken. We knights... We just have SOMETHING happen to us that causes our 'Weapon' to manifest in front of us, and powering up for the first time. We don't have any powers, our Weapon is weak and useless, it's just. Ridiculous to be honest. And we have no way to connect with anyone until we meet them, or visit our Wonder for the first time and find our Signet rings. It's a THING and it's insane."
She paused, and studied him. "As for why? Because I saw a youma attacking a child and I could not not at that."

Her words made him blink a lot. He had no idea about the Knight faction, or how little support they had from the beginning. That was... Something he felt needed to be worked on, but he was not sure he could do much about it. What he could do was be there for his sister, and support her where he could. And when she told him her why, his shoulders dropped. That answer was so very her, and honestly he knew that if it had been him, he would have done the same thing.
How could he blame her, knowing that?
"I... I get it. Alright... I do not like it, but I get it..."
They spent the next several hours talking about it, over their pizza and some ice cream he had in the freezer. It was, if nothing else, good for helping them understand each other, and also they now had one less secret between them, which... At least that felt good about it. By the time she left for the night, he was mostly alright with the situation.
He would worry, and he knew she would too, but. He could accept this, and maybe, just maybe, they could work together in this War.
