Winning Wishing Star Entry
Elentári Tintallë Tinurýn-Aysel approaches the strange little altar with no small amount of amusement, flicking bright eyes up to the star and then back to the smooth surface. As she sets down the glimmering bright star charm from her own headdress, ensuring it's centered on the offering stone, she takes a moment to think of her siblings. So many of them were unhappy under the rule of her father, she hopes the escaped as far as she has... She hoped they are happy.
"This is a strange thing, to speak to you," she admits to the star, considering the swirling galaxy of her mane and the stars that dance there. "But if it will bring some of my lost family back to me, I will remain forever grateful. I have many brothers that I have not seen in such time, those that took after my mother unlike myself, and earned my father's disapproval. I was hoping you might do your best to direct them here, where I know it is safe and they could be happy, if they happen to be lost and wandering as I was. They are bright souls and deserve happiness wherever they are, but it would be extra lovely to see them again if that makes sense. In any case, I'd appreciate your help in such a thing, Wishing Star, and as ever I will do my best to tend well to your kin."

Strange though it is to think, considering the mercurial nature of the Court of Stars and their father's antagonistic rule, Eru has found that in her absence he missed Elentári with a brightly burning fierceness. Though the siblings were never permitted to be particularly close, El and he had been closer than most of them he rather felt. Closer than those that had been dragged off due to earning their father's displeasure, or banished into exile due to too strong a resemblance to their mother and her kin. Likewise the half-siblings that were scattered throughout the Court had also been kept at a distance, the young males deployed as soldiers and the females as ladies in the service to higher relations. Rarely had they been afforded the chance to socialize or bond.
But El and Eru had been as close to favored as one might hope to be, considering their sire's temper and penchant for fits of rage. They had been in the heart of the Court, El poised as Crown Princess as if she might inherit should the old tyrant choose to step aside or even fully cede power to his heirs. Eru had been likewise elevated, though expected to function as a protector and given more battle training than the ladies. It meant he could, on occasion, interact with distant cousins who traveled and trained as young Lords. There were also some he suspected to be half siblings and tried his best to greet and speak to with kindness when he was afforded the opportunity to do so. But all in all it was a lonely, distant sort of existence within the herd, save for stolen moments with those who were family as well as blooded kin.
That all seemed to end when El disappeared, prompting a faint hint of memory that a similar sort of coldness swept through the herd when one of the other Princes had been sent into exile. Rather than risk being caught in his father's tightening grasp or the clawing strikes he made for power and control, Eru had left. And now, directed by the influence of a Wishing Star, he was here in a strange land just knowing his sister was close.
"Very well then, starlight, let's see if you've led me well." The starlight stallion mused in a low rumbling tone, his cloven hooves striking rhythmically against the ground as he cantered through the dark. "Can we get there by candlelight, I wonder?"
