Hello, everyone. In this Filler, I plan to give the 6 Blaster Universe Games from 1998 to 2001 the Minimum and Maximum Score Treatment or to ask the Question: What is the Max Score for Each Level across the Blaster Universe Collection.
Then combine all of them for a real result across all 6 Missions, 3 for Math and Reading each
Before we begin however, if you're new to the Blaster Universe series. It had a total of 7 games as a reboot of the Classic Blaster Learning System.
For those unaware of Blaster Universe, its a cartoon series that ties in with the Math and Reading Blaster Universe games from the late 1990s to early 2000s. The cartoon lasted from 1998-1999 and was not only produced by Knowledge Adventure but also by the Legendary animation Studio: Nelvana Limited, which lasted from 1971 to 2025.
The story for Blaster Universe is simple enough... 12 Year old Max Blaster from Earth befriends a 12 year old Galactic Commander alien from the Planet Omega who gives him a spacesuit which gives Max superhuman powers and as he learns more of the super spacesuit's functions, he and GC build a Robotic canine called MEL, otherwise known as Mechanically Enhanced Lapdog. Together, the Trio travel across space and time on fantastic adventures to combat space criminals. While the games, they visit various planets such as Space Petting Zoo, Carnival on Omega, Central City on Omega, an Underwater Planet, a Lost & Found Planet and even a Tropical Planet.
One thing to keep in mind is that using an early Virtual Machine build that can run Windows NT Operating Systems such 2000 or XP to ME (XPtoME 2nd Edition) can make the 6 games run well. Windows 98 on the other hand, won't work.
However, while its possible to play them on Windows 9x such as 98 or ME, be prepared to run into some potential problems.
This Filler is Dedicated to the Memory of... Nelvana Limited (1971-2025) and Knowledge Adventure (1991-2023) Forever in our Hearts Always our inspiration.

Math Blaster 6-7: Cosmic Critter Challenge
Starting with the Math Blaster Universe series is Mission 1 being Cosmic Critter Challenge being at ages 6-7.
Before I get into the game's story, its worth mentioning that there's a Progress Report Scorecard which shows the games that are played being the activities in each game. Each activity has a total of 5 Levels ranging from Easiest to Hardest. There's also a Treasure Room in each game which shows the player's overall progress for each activity.
We'll get into what those activities are as talk about the games themselves while they're played so as to examine what the Maximum and Minimum scores in depth as that's all well and good.
The Story for Math Blaster 6-7: Cosmic Critter Challenge is somewhat simple. Blaster, MEL and GC visit a Space Zoo as they've been tasked to help the animals get into shape for a game of Tickle Tag which Requires 5 Animal Trading Cards to play.
The second Math Blaster Universe Game series is Mission 2 being Race for the Omega Trophy being at ages 7-8.
The Story for Math Blaster 7-8: Race for the Omega Trophy is set on GC's Homeworld of Omega where the Carnival has arrived in town and Max Blaster hopes to win the Omega Trophy. However, it takes 8 Medals to enter the big race. The player can Win medals by playing the different games at the fairgrounds, and enter the race for a chance to win the grand prize!

Math Blaster 8-9: Space Defenders
The third Math Blaster Universe Game series is Mission 3 being Space Defenders which is aimed at ages 8-9.
The Story for Math Blaster 8-9: Cosmic Defenders, is more of a comic book toned game
Reading Blaster 5-6: Secret of the Sunken Treasure
Moving onto the Reading Blaster Universe Game series is Mission 1 being Secret of the Sunken Treasure which is aimed at ages 5-6. The reason its named as such is because to avoid confusion with Reading Blaster 2000 which was formerly Reading Blaster 6-9 as it has nothing to do with this game even though Reading Blaster 2000 has a Game Show within a Game theme and is Not related to the Blaster Universe Cartoon Series.
The Story for Reading Blaster 5-6 takes Blaster, G.C. and Mel travel to the Aquatic Moon to search for lost treasure in an underwater world. However, to find the lost treasure chest, the player must earn 5 starfish by playing 5 different activities

Reading Blaster 6-7: Planet of Lost Things
The Second Reading Blaster Universe Game series is Mission 2 being Planet of Lost Things which is aimed at ages 6-7. As much as to my knowledge, it pays homage to the Planet of Lost Times from Reading Blaster Jr, the second game in the Blaster Pals Series
The Story for Reading Blaster 6-7 takes Blaster, G.C. and Mel as they travel to the Planet of Lost Things where children toys and games are vanishing to a distant planet where they send a distress call out. Its up to Max Blaster, GC and Mel to return the lost toys and games to where they belong by playing activities so as to earn 5 Keys to the Lost & Found in the Player's Treasure Room.
The Last Reading Blaster Universe Game series is Mission 3 being Secret of Islandia which is aimed at ages 7-8. This is an updated version of Spelling Blaster with the same plot but with Quality of Life improvements.
The Story for Reading Blaster 8-9 takes Blaster, G.C. and Mel to the Planet Islandia where Mumblers from Planet Nonsense have invaded as they're sealing everything that isn't bolted down disguised as tourists even the books and jumbled them in the process. In order to capture all 45 Mumblers to beat the game, it takes 5 Clues per Mumbler for a total of 225 Clues in total.

Math Blaster 9-12 Cross Terrain Challenge
The Last Math Blaster Universe Game series is Mission 4 being Cross Terrain Challenge which is aimed at ages 9=12. This game combines math with extreme sports in the early 2000s
Skipping on the Story this time for Cross Terrain challenge as its straightforward enough. Basically, Max Blaster and GC in their teens compete in a series of 5 Extreme Sporting events. Its scoring System works in the form of a counterclockwise Stopwatch where each quarter for each event is worth a single point and with 5 Events having 4 Points each, that brings a total of 20 Stopwatch points overall.
After Cross Terrain Challenge came out. In the Mid to late 2000s being 2005-2009, the Blaster Learning System made a third reboot before going fully online in the 2010s being the Blaster Prime Series which had only 2 games... Math Blaster Master the Basics in 2005 and Math Blaster Prime Adventure in 2009
They had more of an action sci-fi superhero comic book flair with centers on a sentient AI computer called AIMEE as she travels the network in hopes of finding someone to reactivate the Blaster Corps Program until one day, Blaster Prime discovers the secret to Blaster Corps and is transformed into the Very First Blaster Agent. Under AIMEE's guidance, he's out to save the universe from Cyclotron X.
