Birds chirped, displaying a song of happiness as the sun filtered over an immense garden. Every plant, flower, and vine reached upward, welcoming the life they craved. A rainbow of hues waved as a timid breeze filtered through their waving leaves. This place was magical to anyone who gazed upon it. Some wondered how, even in the rain, they managed to flourish. It seemed mystical, guarded by something or someone; others would murmur in curiosity. Deep in the rows of tigerlilies stood a tall, slender unicorn, standing perfectly still, eyes closed. Listening to the birds was one of her favorite pastimes as they chirped and sang many stories. The mare smiled, content as she opened her eyes to the sunlight that she welcomed. Nodding her head, she walked further toward the white lilies as a butterfly fluttered past her. Even the butterflies whispered stories of things happening outside the garden. Everything was perfect till she noted a weed that was trying to overgrow a small plant. Sighing, she knew her moment of bliss had finally ended. Time to get to work.... Moving slowly, she headed down her main path, pulling out weeds that dared to threaten her garden. After a while, she headed down to the stream, watering her flowers. Standing idle, the mare closed her eyes once more, resonating with happiness before her day of work began. WC: 228

Annalise didn't have anywhere to go, but had been feeling restless all night. Even the cooling, crisp air of the coming autumn didn't help settle her weary bones. When the sun had started to turn the sky a slate blue, she had eagerly opened her eyes. Ready to not fail to sleep. Being as large as she was, she tended to sleep standing up for fear of rolling over on something in the middle of the night. Yes, she could lock her legs and muscles to sleep standing up. Sometimes, it didn't matter how she slept. Her mind tended to wander, even when her body was tired.
So when she woke up, she headed out of the woods, in no set direction. She is eager to move on and have some control over her day. With heavy hooves, she walked over branches and rotting leaves on the forest floor. Both crushing and crunching over her not-so-delicate steps.
Annalise didn't really hear the birds, as her mind zoned out. Her body moves forward around underbrush, roots, and branches. Directing her to a place she didn't know. She just wanted to go. Habit had her looking at the ground as she walked, being sure not to crush anything or anyone. Stepping on a flutter was her biggest fear!
As she got to the edge of the forest line, something caught her eye and made her look up from her hooves. She didn't notice the garden, no. What she noticed was the fairy standing at its center, with candyfloss hair that blew in the breeze. Her eyes trailed down the flowers on her neck and down her leg. There, they seemingly blended into the flower beds that framed the area around her. Now Annalise noticed the garden. It came to life in color around the mare at its center. What a magnificent and enchanting view. She couldn't help but be mesmerized by all she saw.
How long she stood there silently and watched, she didn't know. She watched as the unicorn moved through the garden, tsk'ing at something, then working to pull things up. Weeds perhaps? She watched as the white mare left. Annalise meant to follow her, but looked down and hesitated. She didn't want to crush a single flower or plant that lay between her and the other. She whimpered.
That's when she realized she had been staring the entire time. Now that the mare was gone, it had broken her trance. Annalise's whole face turned red. What should she do now? Wait for her to return, and be even more of a creeper? She shuffled one hoof against the other leg, suddenly unsure of herself. She would just walk around the garden and be on her way. Easy as that. Annalise cleared her throat and started heading around the garden.
As luck would have it, she still managed to step on a flower... "Oh no!" she exclaimed, dancing back a few steps. Well now what was she supposed to do? Annalise wheezed. Frantic, she stood there and waited to see if the mare would return.

Florescence was focused on her task of watering her plants, til they beamed like colorful little petals of happiness. Luckily, she spent her time daily, so she knew which of her babies needed the most care above the others. Using braided vines, she tied all her Soquili-made water containers on the braided vine, pulling them with her. While it wouldn't sate all their thirst, she'd take care of a good bit of it. Pulling the vines behind her was a bit of hard work, but she welcomed it with a smile. Her garden was a niche that fulfilled her heart, along with visiting Little Rue and her herb garden. As she pulled up her makeshift ropes, she heard someone panic in a soft, concerned voice. Florescence dropped her vines, moving toward the emotions she was sensing. Heading to her right garden, she saw a beautiful, tall mare looking, acting as if she had committed murder. Florescence moved in beside her, the mare being perhaps a foot taller than her own size. "Why are you panicked?' Florescence murmured, hoping the other wasn't stung by a bee or injured. She was concerned, feeling empathy for this gentle mare who had come to visit her glorious rainbow of petals and leaves. Looking her over, she gazed downward to see a singular flower that had been crushed, perhaps by this mare? Florescence felt sorry for the girl, yet she knew what would make her smile. "Don't worry," Florescence spoke calmly, gently to the pretty mare, "Flowers are more resilient than most believe them to be". Leaning downward, she nuzzled the broken stem, "They all have days when things happen out of their control". Florescence closed her eyes, stepping backward as her horn touched upon the stem. As a soft aura was emitted, it changed into many colors, lifting the stem upward, and the flower smiled radiantly. "See?" she spoke to the mare, "No harm done. Don't feel bad". Florescence stood calmly gazing into the likeness of the mare's eyes, "My name is Florescence. Welcome to my garden.". WC: 343
