Other than the sharp chill of cold, Alcor didn’t know what to expect when they arrived on her world. Each time she had visited, it felt like she was discovering some new place, with the exception of a few instances where she had a specific location in mind she wanted to return to. For this visit, all she envisioned was a place not on the surface of her world, preferring instead a place sheltered from the biting wind.

They stood on a bridge made of white stone, similar to quartz perhaps, that was coated in a layer of ice. Beneath the bridge’s arch was a slow-moving river that was devoid of any fish-like creatures or life in general.

The high vaulted ceiling was easily at least seven hundred feet above them, if not more. But at its peak, the ice was thin enough to allow light to filter through, so it was easy enough to see without stumbling their way up the staircase or over uneven ground. “I can’t say I’ve been here before…”

Alcor looked up at what looked to be a castle with many pointed spires and tall archways. “It looks fragile yet also somehow terrifying.”

“Frozen,” Alcor interjected.

There were similarities between the castle in the distance and the one Elsa created on the mountainside. But the one here was timeless.

“I actually do come here quite often,” She motioned to the dark blue coat she had previously handed Kemi as a wordless suggestion to put it on. With her uniform's shoulderless sleeves, it might be cumbersome and require a little maneuvering, but the soft fur-trimmed layer would provide her more warmth and make the hassle worth it.

“It’s my sister, Eleonora, who has never been to her world. With us being twins, and our spheres being opposites, she is worried that the heat would be too extreme to last long on. At least here, you just need to layer your clothes, and then you’d be fine.” It was a valid concern, but eventually she would need to overcome that fear.

Alcor began walking up the stairs towards the ice bridge that spanned the width of the frozen river that ran beneath it. “On my last few visits, I had arrived on the surface of my world. This is the first time I’ve arrived here, so this castle is new to me. Sometimes I wonder if the locations I discover is dependent on the company I bring or if I come alone.”
