Now that he was part of things, Chillingham wanted to know what his magical manor or castle thing looked like. But from what she knew from her conversations with Kirin, he couldn't bring her thing fresh into things. It would have to be her bringing him up. While she was normally fine dragging her brother into her adventures, she decidedly was worried that he might not like the still ruined lab and the very rude and probably insane scientist who was there. Sitting at her desk, actually trying to stack some of the papers up just a bit as she finished her list of things she probably needed to bring to help manage things up there, she then leaned all the way back in her chair and looked across the room and out the wide glass window. It was a clear night, so she could see the stars; they didn't feel nearly as far as they looked now, but that didn't diminish her continuing curiosity about how far out some of the alien senshi came from. Another thought hit her: what about how far out were big, scary snake monsters? Shaking her head and popping up from her chair, she popped down the hall with her usual bounciness. "Freddyyyyyyyyy, can we go do some fun magical space stuff? I wanna pop up to Saturn, there's no weird monsters and stuff there, I promise it's safe!" Giving him that look as she waited for him to respond, she bounced up and down on her toes slowly with the extra energy she had left over from having little to no schoolwork this week.

It'd been a quiet night. A miracle of miracles, all things considered. Freddy had gotten some writing done—melodies that had been lilting about in his brain, accompanying lyrics, and some journaling—though it'd been more for personal things than anything. It wouldn't get any public airtime, at least. Nothing beyond his little studio at home, for his personal perusal whenever he wanted to go back and look into his frame of mind at a given point in time.
He didn't journal often, but when he did it and went back to it, it never failed to make for great introspective fodder.
Freddy had just finished putting things away when he heard the sound of his twin bouncing down the hall toward his room. He side-eyed her, expression more or less the same as it always was, as he considered.
"I almost hate that I know you're being very literal about 'popping up to Saturn'," he sighed as he got up from his desk. He saw the extra energy just rolling off of his sister and wondered where in the hell she got it all from. Maybe it was just more concentrated because she was so much shorter than him? Did it take extra energy being a little bit taller?
He cut the thought there, not wanting to get too sidetracked from the conversation at hand.
"But alright. I guess I'll have to visit at some point, anyway. Better sooner than later, right?"
Maybe.

Noticing the journal, she tried to stand up a bit taller to see if she could see what he'd been writing, but it never really worked out with how tall he was, something that she realized she might need to plan around in the lab since it was still sort of a mess. With a wider smile on her face at his sigh, she knew it was progress at least than a flat-out no on things. Sure, he wasn't as excited about magic and space as much as she was, but at least now that he knew more about it, she could at least talk about some things a bit more and pull him along on adventures, like when they went on holiday. "Yes! Ah! I want to see what your wonder is like, too, Freddy. I bet it'll be amazing." Hurrying back from the door, she rushed down towards the front door to get her shoes on and grab the small bag of things she always had ready for visits to that dingy lab. This time, she was planning on bringing more little lights that used batteries and thick gloves, and bags if she found any more broken glass in the rooms she hadn't seen yet. That and she had a tiny little electronic synth to pass the time and see if she could show something fancy to Isiah so he wouldn't be rude to her brother. "I'm readyyyyyy hurry hurry! Then we can have supper after we get back, I promise to help with the dishes this time!"

Right. He had one of those now.
The mere thought of it all was exhausting, especially layered on top of his schoolwork, but Pippa had been managing so he didn't exactly see a precedent for being too much. Then again, she always seemed better at juggling multiple things at once compared to him, so maybe it was an unfair comparison.
The taller teen followed her to the door, hand falling to the top of her head to steady himself as he slipped his own shoes on, one at a time.
"What's in the bag?" he asked, eyeing it with only half-suppressed curiosity.

Pouting as Freddy used her to steady himself, she brought a hand up to fix her lopsided bangs until they were at least a bit more out of her face, like usual. Pulling the bag up a bit more on her shoulder, she stuck her tongue out at him. "Cleaning stuff mainly, magic space home aside, it's awfully gross and icky..." One thing she wished magic would help with, but instead, she had a mad scientist bickering with her every time she moved something he didn't like her touching. A nag, that's what he was, and she could see Isaiah and Freddy either teaming up on her or instantly hating each other. Pushing the door open, she hurried on ahead before looking back at her brother and sticking her tongue out again. "Last one to the park has to sweep the spider webs." And off she ran, taking the stairs two at a time and hurrying out of the building. At least once she was outside and out of view, she powered up and felt that speed of her's picking up even as she had to juggle her bag a bit to make sure she didn't drop anything as her boots had her skidding slightly on the still-wet pavement right around the nearby park.

"Magical chores?" he said, neither here nor there about it. He didn't really mind chores, but if he could avoid them then he would. "As if we don't have enough to deal with in our regular home." The teen sighed and followed her out the door, turning to lock it behind them as she laid out her challenge.
He nearly broke the key inside the lock.
"Not f–" he cut off, yanking at the key until it finally came free of the door. He staggered back a step and turned as quickly as he could, chasing after her. He took the stairs a few steps at a time—he had long legs for just this kind of thing—and was right on her tail. Following her out of sight, he re-emerged as a grunge-heavy Victorian-esque era man with a rusted trowel in his hand.
Ugh.
Bamburgh picked up speed and raced after Chillingham, but despite all his effort he still came to a stop in the park just beside her, a few seconds later than she did. He was heaving, pale cheeks flush with the effort of running.
"Cobwebs, right?" he huffed, hands at his hips as he caught his breath. "No actual spiders?"
