Crocheting -- She loves to crochet. She learned from her Grandmother when she was 7 and has developed a love for it ever since. She will make hats and jellyfish squishies to give to NICU babies a couple of times a year, and she will create a few items for her grandmother to sell at craft fairs in the summer and fall. Her favorite things to crochet are the jellyfish, because of the curly tentacles, or really anything with curlie-cues. She's trying to learn Amigurumi.
Reading -- Reading is a passion for her. She enjoys discovering new books at the library to borrow, particularly in the fantasy, romance, and mystery genres. She would love to increase her own library, but currently doesn't have the room or the funds to keep up with it, so she settles for what she can find in the library. Luckily, she can also borrow from the school library during the school year.
Singing -- Broadway Musicals are on her list of things to see. Currently, she has not had the opportunity to attend any, but singing along to the songs she has downloaded is something she can be heard doing, especially when she is crocheting. She hopes to further develop her skills with the Meadowview Choir. For now, she practices with the church choir she belongs to.
Virtues:
Patience -- Elga believes in kindness toward others and finds that she draws people to her because she looks for the good in everyone. She is slow to anger, giving others the chance to explain themselves or provide more answers when there is doubt, even going so far as to suggest what could be explanations when there are questions of a person's intent.
Persistence -- She will stick to a task until it is finished, especially when learning a new song for choir or a new crochet project to play around with. Giving up is not in her vocabulary.
Flaws:
Determination to a fault -- When she has set a task to finish, sometimes it means ignoring other things around her. Sometimes this means missing out on outings with friends or being late. She is always apologetic afterwards, but does not regret having completed what caused her to be absent or late.
Lets others take the lead -- The head of the line is the least place she wants to be. Preferring others to take charge, she will hang in the shadows and let others direct her. She will actively work to let others shine before her, preferring to be one of many. This can mean missing out on opportunities that could work in her favor.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Roundish almond-shaped, aqua green with flecks of gold. While she occasionally wears glasses, she prefers contacts.
Hair: Auburn hair, shoulder length and wavy.
Face: Oval shaped with light freckles across nose and forehead, unattached ear lobes with single piercing with golden garnet studs.

Body Type: 5' 5", 165lbs with an average build and light freckles on her arms.
Clothes: She prefers modest clothing that doesn't show cleavage on top and is at least knee length. Wears a variety of clothing depending on her mood. Not a fan of bright pink or black. Black and dark colors like Navy or Forest Green are only for elegant affairs, in her opinion, as she prefers brighter but not showy colors. She will wear pastels or solid colors, and a t-shirt and jeans if she's in the mood for comfort or fun, or a blouse and skirt if she's feeling girly. Sneakers or sandals; especially in the summer, are her shoes of choice unless she's feeling girly, then a heel no more than 2 inches to flats. She takes care of her nails. They are not too long, and generally has color on them and her toenails in the summer or when wearing open-toed shoes. The colors are usually pastels or n***s, on occasion standard colors if they match her outfit, or even tropical colors in the summer.
