[⚠️ Suspicious Content] Poultrygeist (15) : As Destiny City is a bustling metropolis, it’s not unexpected that there should be some strange animals running the streets. Sometimes it’s a tiger, sometimes a monkey, sometimes a chicken. Sometimes it’s something worse. Strange egg clusters have appeared in Destiny City’s parks and officials aren’t really sure what they are; these eggs have nothing inside of them. Though it’s an anomaly, they are chalking it up to teenaged pranks. However, they have advised to just leave the eggs as they are. Nobody wants to say why, but if you’re out late at night, you’ll find out. In the darkness, whispered between the sounds of the city: a guttural, rasping cluck. The creature stands on stilt-like legs, rooted to the ground with razor-sharp talons. It wears a cloak of long, oily feathers that drag on the ground with a sinister scraping. If you stare into the darkness, piercing red eyes stare back at you. That’s all it takes for a confrontation: a mangled bird, maybe a chicken in another life, comes barreling out at you. It stands easily as tall as a person, but the proportions are all wrong. The smell of sulfur follows it as it lunges, pecking and screaming and scratching as it attempts to chase you away. Maybe, from the nests full of empty eggs. The battles are fierce, but fleeting; it will viciously try to chase you away but the effects are always the same: at some point, the eggs are crushed. As always, there’s nothing inside of them, but with one final wail, the bird will vanish into a plume of foul smoke.
Note: If you choose to encounter one of these bird-like creatures, your character will recognize they are not youma. It is impossible to tell if it is a single entity or if there are many. The bird does not seem to understand or care to listen to human words. It will always disappear in a malodorous plume of smoke and leave nothing but a foul odor and a clutch of empty, broken eggs behind. This RP can be used as a battle requirement as long as there are two powered characters involved; you must be interacting with another player’s powered character. This does not count as the one youma battle per stage for growth so characters can still use an NPC youma battle as well as this one for growth purposes. This can only be used as a battle requirement once per character, but there is no limitation for how many times a player can use this prompt.

Byakko had heard about the strange chicken eggs scattered here and there. She'd wanted to investigate with her sister but Tea was off doing other things. Which understandable.
The senshi of the west stretched as she walked through the area the eggs were supposedly at. Trying to pay attention where she stepped but honestly, sometimes that was easier said than done. The senshi looked around the area and was concerned that while it was open, something might sneak up on her.
Without a second to watch her back it was much harder when there were literally fifty if not more eggs scattered around. She heard something crunch under her foot and the senshi closed her eyes. "Pleaseeee be a stick."
She said softly looking down as she slowly lifted her foot, hearing no sooner than she looked down a ghastly call and the senshi of the west looked towards where the sound came from. "Welp... guess that's the welcome wagon to hell."
The senshi took up a fighting stance hoping she'd have some backup even though she couldn't feel anyone around the area.

Realta was more than a tad curious about the recent influx of reports. Strange eggs around the parks? Oddities were hardly a new concept in Destiny City, sure, but... well. She never turned down a chance to investigate.
As it was, this particular park drew her attention due to the presence of a senshi. White Moon, certainly, and the Savannah picked up the pace as the feline trotted in the direction of the energy signature.
The open space was a double-edged blade. No cover, but also, extremely easy to see what else was looking for a fight. She spotted the senshi quickly enough, then the large amount of eggs around...
But her gaze focused swiftly on the brush not far from the location, and the gravely, croaking sound emanating from within. The Mauvian raced forward, joining the senshi... and made a small face that the poor thing had stepped on one of the eggs...
Though she couldn't smell anything. If anything, it was... empty..?
"An empty egg..? That's a new one. Are you alright?" She looked up to the woman in question, ears flicking towards the sound of the... something. "...I don't sense a youma..."
Byakko's eyes glanced down towards the cat, though she kept her fighting stance just in case the rumored bird charged them. "Yeahhh, I'm not sure that's why I came out here to investigate."
There was a pause, "I'm fine for now, it's still hiding in the bush." There was a pause when she looked back at the eggs, "Reports say if you step on the eggs and break them it'll charge."
After the mauvian mentioned there wasn't an aura of a youma there was a larger frown. "You're right. What it is then!?"
No sooner that Byakko had asked she shifted her weight and ended up crushing a couple of eggs herself because she forgot how close she was to the nest. The demon chicken seemed not to like that and gave a screech before charging them. "Oh s**t watch out!"
She tried to dodge the charging chicken not wanting to be flogged by it.

When the senshi asked what is it, after removing the option of youma, the Mauvian hummed lightly. "A giant, angry chicken."
Because, really, with how this city was? With all it's oddities? That was as good an answer as anything.
Though the thing became extra angry when the senshi accidentally.... broke more eggs....
Realta winced, ducking herself low to the ground to go under the rampaging chicken, though when she realized the senshi wasn't quite out of the way, she hissed, focusing magic into her forehead and launching a beam of white light up at the feathered foe. It squawked and flailed its wings, stunned where it now stood, a croaking, crackling cry that didn't quite fit a barnyard bird.
She quickly bolted, but as she passed the senshi... a sort of itch formed at the back of her mind. Her ears flicked and head tilted somewhat till she registered the sensation.
"Know this isn't the best time, but--please give me your pen, dear!"
There was a nod, "I guess that's as good of a deduction as any but I've never seen a giant chicken. I'd hate to see who it belongs too."
Byakko was trying not to panic as she did her best to bounce out of the way and thought about calling her attack but wasn't sure how useful it'd be at this point. When Realta hit the chicken with a forehead lazer Byakko looked impressed and gave a hoot.
"That was awesome!" A pause though when the cat said to turn over her henshin pen. "Oh . . . okay!"
She pulled out her pen and handed it to the cat, "I guess I'll distract Stinky McCluckin then." She'd noticed the weird smell coming form the chicken which wasn't helped by the lazer that had just hit it.
"Come and get meee~ your chicken mama smelled like rotten eggs and so do you" She called trying to distract the chicken and hopefully insult it enough to have it charge her. She was moving away from Realta for the cat to work, and hopefully far enough to keep the cat a safe distance without too much distractions.

....where did people learn their insult skills? Realta had quickly nabbed the pen in her mouth carefully, four legs carrying her swiftly forward and out of the chicken's reach. Though as the Senshi uh.... called for it, it at least looked agitated enough to bumble after her.
The Savannah shook her head slightly before focusing her magic, allowing it to roll through her, collect and condense, till she did a quick flip backwards, circling the pen in a flash of iridescent light. The feline snatched it up once more, now in a rather different state, and cheerfully headed back towards its owner.
Byakko dodged the chicken when it charged her but not quickly enough to avoid being clipped by a wing of the fowled feathered fiend. When Realta had did a little back flip she caught a glance of it and looked curiously at the cat before judging if she could win in a game of chicken.
Though the thought was cut short for the moment as she took her pen back, it looked different. "Oh what's this?" She asked looking at Realta but feeling like there was something she needed to do.
The chicken was making a turn to come back for the pair. "Careful don't let it hit you." She said making sure Realta wouldn't be in harms way.

The cat hissed towards the chicken, claws releasing from her paws as she moved out of the way of it's race towards them, and trying to slash at the stupid thing's exposed legs. The bird at least didn't seem to appreciate the burning sensation of her cuts.
"You should know the words to say, dear! That magic's yours, after all, you just needed that little adjustment to your pen to let it free!"
Byakko nodded she took a second to focus, "Byakko Constellation Power!" After a moment she turned around and her outfit had changed. The chicken demon was charging them again.
Byakko frowned and moved trying to get the bird to chase after her away from Realta. She gave it a moment before calling, "Tiger Strikes from the West!"
The wind started blowing and leaves swirled before she threw her hands forward, sending the leaves to slice into the chicken they were attacking.
She looked back to Realta, "Ohh thanks for the upgrade~" She said with a little happy wiggle before focusing back on the chicken which she hoped was ready to dip out on them. She was startled when a little Opal Star Charm fell from the direction her wind attack blew, she caught it and looked curiously at it, "Huh, look at this. I wonder where it came from."
Super Senshi Transformation Call: Byakko Constellation Power, Make-up! Super Senshi Attack:Tiger Strikes from the West
Byakko summons her attack and a soft crisp wind starts to blow from the west, billowing medium sized leaves around her. Slowly the wind starts to kick up and Byakko throws her arms forward hands held out like claws and the wind whips in the direction towards her target(s) causing the leaves to hit them. The leaves are larger and leave more damage causing moderate damages from scrapes to cuts, possibly bruising depending on how the leaves hit.
For this attack Byakko can hit anyone in about a five foot range. The attack lasts about 30 seconds and causes medium damage. She can use it twice per battle. This attack is easy to see and could be dodged if the target(s) are quick enough.

Ah, Byakko. She'd need to finish the sort of introductions after this poultry pest was dealt with. As it was, the Savannah was quite proud of the senshi for achieving the next rank of her magic--and using it already with great accuracy.
Her smile was smug as she bounded out of the way of the chicken, just as the leaves from Byakko's attack sliced through the creature. Realta's movements though caused her to run into more of the eggs, breaking through their shells with barely any effort. Empty, at least, but...
The wobbly, scratched and battered chicken, looked at the broken eggs that were scattered about, and between that and the damage it'd received... seemed to decide it'd had enough. A wail, mournful and loud, broke from the creature, vanishing into a smog of foul-smelling smoke that made the cat cough and gag.
She did find a pretty little Opal Star Charm behind some of the eggs she'd accidentally ran into, and quickly nabbed that to send into subspace before trotting back to Byakko.
"Lovely job! And congratulations on your achievement. I didn't have the chance before, but I'm Realta. Delighted to meet you, Byakko."
Byakko grinned for a moment before the caught the smell of the feathered fiend and covered her nose as quickly as she could. It was worse than probably a skunk spraying.
When the smell dissipated and she was able to safety speak "Ah, thanks!"
She was rubbing the back of her head, she hadn't thought she'd done enough to power up but at least she had. "Nice to meet you too Realta."
She looked around and thought for a moment, "Want to go get something to drink? I think a lemonade or something after that?" It was fairly toasty out and it didn't help when the chicken poofed in a foul-smelling smoke. "I think it might help get the lingering smell out of my sinuses - I don't know about you." She totally had a bit of the smell lingering.

The feline laughed lightly, and pulling her magic around her, light reshaped her form till she stood as a humanoid woman before Byakko. "Lemonade sounds perfect right about now. I'd love to join you, thank you. I figured thumbs would be better for holding a drink," she said lightly with a wiggle of her hands to explain her sudden shift in appearance.
Thankfully, her Engraved Medallion kept her energy signature to the level it was as a feline--that is, effectively non-existent. How she preferred it.
"I would enjoy hearing about you as well, if you're comfortable with that. Hearing about what senshi are up to is a favorite for me." Though probably most Mauvians could say about the same. Still, she was delighted to get the chance to speak with someone new--and a newly upgraded at that!
Her bare feet padded the ground soundlessly as she began to step away from the foul smelling area, smile bright to Byakko. "Shall we?"
Byakko paused and tried not to stare when the cat turned into a woman. "Ohh wow, I haven't seen a cat transform yet."
She was trying not to geek out about how cool she thought that was. She grinned, "Oh I'm fine with that, there's a bit ... of history. I've recently kind of gotten back into patrolling - after some drama."
She frowned softly but shrugged softly, and nodded when Realta asked if they should. "Yes we shall!" Byakko gave Realta a run down of what she'd been up to including the first visit to her homeworld. She did leave out most of the family drama for this meeting.
