⸻ CHARACTER PROFILE GUIDE ⸻
“Every miracle begins with a name.”

This guide will help you fill out the Character Dossier and dive into the world of Edenfall.

BASIC INFORMATION

Name:
Your character’s full name. Feel free to include first and last, or just a chosen name if they’ve abandoned their birth identity.

Alias / Codename:
A nickname, street name, codename, or false identity they go by. Many people in Edenfall adopt a name to protect themselves or project power.

Age:
How old are they? Some Arc-Bearers awaken early. Others don’t unlock their code until much later.

Pronouns:
Self-explanatory. Let others know how to refer to your character.

Face Claim / Visual Reference:
Optional, but helpful. You can describe their appearance, link to a picture, or give a face claim (real people, artwork, etc.).

Faction Alignment:
Where do they stand?
Council of Order – Enforcers of divine law and religious control.
The Veiled – Rebels, heretics, and seekers of forbidden truth.
Arc-Bearers – Miraculous individuals shaped by the Code.
• Unaligned – Survivors, mercenaries, or lost souls.
• Other – Create your own splinter group or ideology.

District of Origin:
Where were they born or raised? Is it one of Edenfall’s tech-drenched high zones, or a decaying Blackout district? Think about class, access to power, and environment.

PHYSICAL PROFILE

Height / Build:
Are they tall, wiry, broad, or small? Add any other physique traits that stand out.

Notable Features:
Do they bear marks of their Arc Code? Think: glowing veins, etched symbols, cybernetic limbs, divine scars, mutations.

Style / Gear:
How do they dress? Do they wear tactical armor, sacred robes, techwear, or ragged cloaks? What gear do they carry—implants, relics, weapons, or tools?

ARC CODE PROFILE

Arc Expression:
What form does their Arc gift take? Is it telepathy, elemental manipulation, divine insight, time distortion, etc.? Be as creative and symbolic as you like—Arc powers are miracles shaped by identity and trauma.

Arc Tier:
The level of power they've achieved (you can choose or leave open to evolve):
Baseline – A spark of potential.
Awakened – Stable and active Arc expression.
Fragmented – Glitching, unstable, or corrupted.
Corrupted – Powerful, but at a dangerous cost.

Mutation / Side Effects:
Arc gifts always leave a mark. Maybe they hear voices, suffer seizures, grow wings, or dream in symbols. What price have they paid?

How Did Their Arc Awaken?:
Did their Arc Code trigger during the Neo Tower event? Was it activated through pain, faith, exposure to relics? Were they born with it, or did it erupt violently?

PSYCHE & MOTIVE

Personality:
What are their core traits—brave, cynical, idealistic, unhinged? What mask do they wear in public, and what lies underneath?

Beliefs About God / The Silence:
Do they believe in the God that once answered? Do they worship, rebel, or feel abandoned? Are they searching for a new divine truth?

Goals:
What do they want? Survival, vengeance, redemption, revolution? How far are they willing to go?

Fears:
What keeps them up at night? Losing control of their Arc? Facing divine judgment? Becoming a monster?

Secrets:
What don’t they want anyone to know? A hidden past? A forbidden act? A connection to the Tower?

CONNECTIONS

Important NPCs:
Mention any key figures in their life. Family, enemies, lovers, teachers—NPCs you’d like to tie into the story.

Faction Ties:
Are they loyal, disillusioned, or pretending? How deep are they in with their chosen group—or do they plan to betray it?

Rumors:
What does the city whisper about them? Are they said to have survived a miracle storm? Killed a saint? Betrayed their own blood?

✦ TECHIMPLANTS IN EDENFALL ✦

In Edenfall, TechImplants are the bleeding edge of biotech—synthesized interfaces that fuse flesh with silicon, scripture, and signal. Originally designed by the Council of Order to stabilize Arc Code surges, these implants are now widespread... though not always stable.

They are as much spiritual prosthetics as technological enhancements, often carved with reactive glyphs or etched in divine alloys.

Some are sleek, subtle, corporate-sanctioned.
Others are crude, homebrew, or heretical.

But all of them hum with risk.

✦ CATEGORIES OF TECHIMPLANTS ✦

⸻ NEURAL INTERFACE IMPLANTS
→ Direct link to Edenfall’s NetScript network. Users receive real-time data, surveillance access, Arc Code diagnostics, and divine-script alerts.
Common among Council operatives and info-brokers.
• Side Effects: memory corruption, hallucinations of "divine code," ghost errors.

⸻ GLYPH-REACTIVE LIMBS
→ Replacement arms or legs inscribed with scripture-reactive glyphs. Capable of channeling Arc-based power—usually strength, shockwaves, or heat.
• Used by gladiators, enforcers, and some Arc-Bearers.
• Side Effects: limb desynchronization, glyph seizures.

⸻ EYE OF EDEN
→ Ocular implants designed to scan for Arc emissions and decrypt sacred frequencies. Can detect hidden glyphs, possess limited precognition, or display tactical HUD overlays.
• Dirk Savage famously lost his original eye and replaced it with a sanctified version.
• Side Effects: ocular bleeding, prophetic dreams, false positives.

⸻ AURICLE NODES
→ Implanted in the skull, these tune the user into divine resonance bands—used for long-distance silent communication, command reception, and angelic frequency tracking.
• High-ranking Council members often have multiple tuned nodes.
• Side Effects: audio hallucinations, "tinnitus of tongues."

⸻ FAITH-DRIVES
→ Chest-mounted drives that stabilize Arc surges through prayer loops and programmed mantras. Often required for high-level Bearers to suppress volatile transformations.
• Veiled tech-priests have hacked these to induce divine awakenings.
• Side Effects: spiritual dissonance, emotional suppression, catastrophic overload if corrupted.

⸻ GRACE-FIELDS
→ Subdermal implants that emit protective auras during combat or Arc storm exposure. Often used in corrupted blackout zones or during heavy broadcast interference.
• Only available through black market Veiled engineers.
• Side Effects: static rash, unnatural luck, alignment bleed (ethical corruption drift).

⸻ REVELATION ENGINES
→ Experimental implants located in the spine or skull base that allow Arc-Bearers to "speak" raw glyph into reality—rewriting local phenomena through will and blood.
• Illegal in all districts.
• Side Effects: memory loss, bleeding eyes, reality warping.

⸻ SCRIPTURE-TATTOOS
→ Not exactly implants, but laser-burned scripture tattoos tied to microfilament networks under the skin. Activate under duress, pain, or strong belief.
• Popular among zealot cells and Veiled prophets.
• Side Effects: stigmata, involuntary preaching, light-based seizures.

✦ IMPLANT USAGE & ROLEPLAY NOTES ✦

Implants require calibration—they may glitch, fail, or act unexpectedly under Arc pressure.
Overuse leads to mutation or cognitive degradation (especially when not blessed/maintained properly).
Some factions outlaw or restrict implants: the Council regulates them strictly; the Veiled modify theirs ritualistically; Arc-Bearers suffer side effects the most.

They are not just tools—they are extensions of Edenfall’s theology and trauma.

Ask yourself:
Was your character born with implants? Did they earn them through combat or ritual? Were they forced in as punishment? Or did they build them from junk and scripture fragments found in a Blackout Zone?

(**You are not limited to these techplants but must work with the Scriptkeeper or Arc Code on any orginial ideas. )
