The park was a place Noa often found herself at since getting pregnant.
Truth be told, she was a little bored and she needed something to do. Granted, she hasn't been able to do her actual job yet, but she had plenty of funds stashed away so she wasn't worried about taking 9 months off. She did announce that the manager and her were expecting just so that her fans wouldn't become disappointed or think that she had quit. She sat, cross-legged on a bench while reading a book about a serial killer that was out to torment the detective that failed to solve his mother’s cold case murder.
She hummed while reading, wishing she could just power up and go on patrol.
Idri got to do it every night because he wasn't the one incubating a human being.

Jadyn's camera hung around his neck as he strolled through the park, looking for things to add to his portfolio. He really wanted to photograph a couple weddings, those were always good to have. Maybe he could do some PG-13 boudoir shoots, too. He needed some friends, was what he needed. Although, he could probably talk Holland into posing for a free boudoir set. His boyfriend would probably enjoy it. Hell, he could even do a set that included both of them with separate photos as well. He really needed to text Holland…
A few more minutes of wandering and his gaze settled on a pretty woman sitting cross-legged on a bench with a book. She looked to have a bit of a baby bump, but he would never assume such a thing. She was engrossed in her book and hadn't seen him yet, so he quietly unshuttered his camera and took a few candid shots. Some might call it creepy, and it could be; if he were some weirdo that kept these for personal pleasure.
But no. Once he'd snapped enough to satisfy him, he walked toward the woman. “Hiya!” he said and waved, smiling as he approached. He had already pulled a card out of his pocket and was handing it to her. “Sorry for disturbing you, I swear I'm not a creep,” he said with a laugh. “I'm a photographer, and you made a pretty picture sitting on the bench like that. Wanna see?” He grinned, excited to show his work as he pulled the strap from his neck, waiting for her response.

At first, Noa wasn't sure if the guy was talking to her or someone else, so she kept reading for a minute until she heard a rather close hiya, which startled her just a tiny bit. She felt a flutter in her stomach and giggled. Apparently her son was startled as well. Looking up with a smile, Noa was pleasantly surprised by the cute redhead in front of her. “Hello! Sure! I’d love to see!” She put her book away and leaned in, waiting to see what he had.
To be honest, if he was good, she might have an opportunity for him.

He grinned, glad that she didn't seem creeped out. Moving to sit next to her, he showed her the screen of the camera. “You just looked so peaceful with your book,” he said with a smile as he went through the pictures he had taken of her. It hadn't been many, but he wanted to show them all. “I'm trying to build my portfolio so I can make this my full time job. I'd like to use these for it if that's okay? My number is on the card I gave you, I can send copies wherever you want them,” he told her.

Looking at the pictures he had on the camera, Noa was amazed at how….Ethereal she looked. The god rays shining, her hair flowing in front of her face as she read, combined with her light skin and freckles. “Wow! These are really good. I totally wouldn't mind if you wanted to use them for your portfolio!” She happily took the card, opening up her purse to place it in her wallet. “Are you taking on jobs at the moment? I think I have a friend that could use a professional for her modeling job.”

“That’s cool!” Jadyn said and smiled. “It can be hard to take pictures on your own, especially if you’re going for a certain effect.” His mind was already thinking about filters and angles and poses. “I’d be happy to talk to her about it, for sure.” He smiled at her then. “Nice to meet you, Noa!” He was always happy to meet new people and (he hoped) make new friends. He had met a few new people recently, and he was glad for his world expanding a little more. When she pulled out her phone, he did the same. “Sure thing! You’ll let her know about me, though? I wouldn’t wanna just be some random dude calling her,” he said with a laugh and took the other woman’s phone number.
