Honestly, Karakorum probably should have just gone home and gone to bed. Part of her was bone-deep exhausted, from the fight with the Calamitous Hollow.
The problem was, the rest of her burned with restless energy, itching to get out and do things, riding the high of surviving the ordeal and leaving the Hollow trapped in a space between spaces where it couldn't hurt anyone anymore.
So after a restless hour or so at home, waiting for the power to come back to no avail so she could do...something, she'd gone out, walked a couple blocks, and powered up into Karakorum.
The city was unusually quiet, but after a little while, she found a little monster--strangely blobby, almost, on four skittering legs, and it was fast. She'd taken a shot at it with her magic, but it had started running, and nearly gotten away from her.
The good new was, she was pretty sure she could feel a Senshi in the direction she was chasing it, which meant she might have a little bit of backup.
"Hey," she called, hoping the other aura was in earshot, "help me corner this thing!"

Achird couldn't. He just... couldn't. He'd had a horrifically long night as it was, then had a stupid fight with Vanya at home because that little jerk had to lose all sense. What, like it was his fault people treated Farbauti like a jerk because his past life was hotter, or whatever? ********, he kind of wished Vanya had told him who was saying these things other than Grieve, because he would have liked to pound them into the dirt for daring to make his... friend...? Person... thing...? Host? Whatever, made Vanya feel like he didn't deserve to be Farbauti. Stupid ******** argument. If you got the starseed, you deserved it, that was that. Even if you were one of those idiots running around dolled up in Chaos. They could still change. Angrily, he punted a rock. Stupid ******** Earth and their stupid ******** money— The shout pulled him from his thoughts and he didn't even hesitate, just ran over. Everything about him was exhausted—his body, his magic—but he could still do this. He had to. His adrenaline was kicking, at least. And his anger boiled. Screaming an incoherent shout of rage, he came at the creature from the other side and bodyslammed it into the ground, not letting up on his scream the entire time.

Honestly, Karakorum was kind of impressed by the level of dramatic aggression the Senshi brought to the party. Coming flying out with a tackle, pinning the thing down--that was the kind of enthusiasm a girl loved to see.
Also, he was an alien--there was no mistaking those deer ears and antlers and--yep, yeah, Karakorum did take a second to look and there was an adorable little tail back there.
"Nice work!" Karakorum's delight was obvious, and she took a deep breath, drawing her bow and shooting off a magical silvery arrow. She didn't have a lot of magic left, but a brief shot made the thing cry out and start writhing underneath the Senshi, trying to wiggle its gross little way out. Its little feet scrabbled against the ground, and it seemed to stretch, but couldn't quite get away.
"Hold it in place, I bet one more shot will finish it!"
Maybe that was optimistic, but Karakorum found that little youma like this one weren't exactly the most durable of opponents.

Achird growled at the thing, trying even harder to flatten it. He pressed against it with all his might and then, seizing an opportunity, he began to squeeze it, groaning with the effort. "I'm keeping it at still as I can!" he called out to the Squire he'd jumped in to help, scowling just a little. Her magic arrows were very nice and seemed to distress the youma, so at least that was something. Hopefully her next blow would kill it. The youma squealed and squirmed and he bear hugged it as hard as he could. Hurry it up before I collapse! he thought with irritation, too tired to even try to voice it.

Karakorum took a deep breath. She knew she didn't have much left--she'd burned through so much magic fighting the Hollow, and maybe some of it was back, but she was also still tired from that fight.
So she drew back her bow one last time. Focused her shot. And loosed.
The silvery arrow flew true, impacting the wiggly little creature, and it flailed and let out a noise that sounded like a grating shriek of two pieces of metal grinding against each other.
And then, in an instant, it crumpled to dust, and Karakorum let out a delighted whoop. She jogged over to the Senshi, extending her hand to help him get up.
"Thanks for the backup," she said. "I would have wasted a lot of time and magic chasing it down without your help. Karakorum of Cybele. Crazy night, huh?"

Achird didn't even have time to be nervous that the arrow might hit him instead of the wiggling Chaos creature in his arms. In an instant, the damnable thing had poofed into dust and he coughed, brushing the dust free of his face and uniform, shuddering. "Awful things," he said, blinking at the offered hand then internally shrugging and taking it to get up. Oh, wow, he was taller than her. By a lot. His breath caught in his throat and he cleared it with another cough, trying to play it as though he hadn't been surprised by how small she seemed. By the way her outfit exposed her thighs... "No problem," he said, somewhat hoarsely, then cleared his throat violently. "I still had energy to burn after everything tonight, somehow. Needed to put it somewhere. Achird of Aubergine, at your service, Karakorum." By the meadows, she was a gorgeous lady. A little thrill ran through him, but he tried to suppress it. He wasn't... He didn't... Gods, but he wanted to. At the least, he offered her a little smile. That wasn't so bad.
