Alice spent much of her free time during the school year studying, even bringing her notes with her over the winter break. Her only struggle came in Defense Against the Dark Arts, which she studied extra hard for and spent a lot of time practicing with her boyfriend. Thankfully for her with that class, her biggest objective, the boggart was conquered much easier as she had planned to face down that fear in real life. As for the other classes, she had spent quite a lot of time studying for them as well.

Alice studied very hard to achieve the grades that she had. She spent lots of time practicing for the Defense NEWT, since that had been her weak spot during the OWLs. She also studied with a bunch of different students to get different approaches to the exams. It had been difficult for her to study with all of her extracurriculars, so she made a detailed itinerary for every day to make sure she accomplished her goals.
