 * Kiran wakes to the sounds of birds outside his home. Spring had finally returned. The snow storm had been harsh. It had frozen his little mice to the bone. The seven family members and helpers were important they had been with him since he broke out of his basket. Now he saw a little stream pouring past his left foot. He left his and and looks around noticing there were more. Flooding... his home was flooding not bad but still. He standing up he looks around and noticed that the streams were running together. Waking his family of mice he picks them up on his back and walks out of his little burrow. Once outside he feels how wet the ground is water seems to coming out with every step. He decides to check on the area his home and walk to meadow then maybe to lake to see how bad the flooding is. He notices as he crosses maybe small streams on the past some parts are even underwater. Using his wings he flys towards the meadow.*
Surveying the ground below he notices that points the trail from his home is gone washed away. Leaving the trail uncrossable. He flys lower and notices that some of streams were flooding becoming rivers. He looks around at this new land escape. Maybe for the time being he should relocate at least until the water returs to normal but first he wanted to check the river. Flying over the meadow it too showed signs of flooding. Landing onto of the he looks down and noticed that alot of trees were surrounded by or covered by water. Well the river must have flooded was this becauseof the snow melt. Maybe he should check and help his herd move out of the area until the water resended. Flapping his wings he headed for his herd. Noticingall the flooding and changeson ground as he flew*Wc: 320

* Bella slept in her little clearing inside the forest that his shared with her mate and children. Feeling something wet and cold against her fur he wakes. She was in water wait looking around she noticed she was in water her home was flooding. Standing up she looks around and sees her mate and children staring at disbelief. Heading to them and nursing them she looks around.* " we need to get to higher ground inform everyone and then we will meet at the base of river. Silver and Serafina your with me."* She nuzzles her mate and children before heading towards a trail that will lead them into the mountains and hopefully to higher ground. She watches her mate disappear as he approaches the area for the rest f the Herd. Bella leads her children and spots a familiar stallon ahead.* " Kiran any news?"*she watches him closely*Wc:147

* Kiran spotting Bella and foals lands carefully. He bows his head.* " good morning Bella I was coming to find you and give you my report. We have flooding in meadow and it is impassable to anyone without wings or a good swimming ability. The river has flooded and taken it completely over. My home is flooring as well was just about to head towards the lake and see how bad the flooding is there. I'm glad my mate is visiting his family. I shall check out the lake and path into the foothills to make sure everyone can pass it on foot without issues. Unless you need me for something else?" * he smiles at her the foals and walks up to nuzzles them to give them comfort before looking at Bella.*
* Bella listening to the report blinks the whole meadow was flooding. The had crested and flooded it all. Well that past wouldn't work they had two others including the one by the lake. She nodded* " Yes please, check out the lake and path there. Thanks Kiran. Have you seen anyone else trying to escape? Did you see Hanna? This sounds bad but together we will survive. Go scout and report back please." * this was starting to worry her a little a lot of their Herd members couldn't fly. She would remind claim and lead to the best of her abilities. She just wished Franklin was beside her and she knew he would be back as soon as he could to help. Turning towards the mountain path towards the lake she kept her foals moving and talking to them to keep their minds off things*

* Kiran stepping back, leaps into the air flapping his wings and heads toward the lake. He watches a couple of hillsides give away as he approaches the lake. It was starting to flood in area but the path beside it for now looked intacted. Flying over the foothills path towards the mountains he notices a few washed out places but they were climbable or jump able in places. Never in his year had he seen some much water it was cool if it was not so life-threatening. He lands on the foot hill path to see how stable it was to his surprise it held. Slick in places he felt his hoof slice but mostly safe. He walks it for a couple of hours at least it wasn't raining but the weather could change at any minute. After he reaches the foothills of mountains he looks around and notices that half Herd had already made it. He saw Hanna, Ayame, Ruka, Duncan and at least their families. He walks over and greeting and explaining that Bella and her foals were on there way. After resting a hour he returns to sky to find Bella and any other member that was missing. Spotting Bella and foals resting near the lake he joins them* " I have good news. Most of the Herd is in foothills. The past is slick but stable and there is food and rest once we all get there."
* Bella nods* " that is great news and I'm glad they are all safe. I'm worried about the others that haven't made it yet. Would you mind flying around and helping them. Oh and if you see Franklin tell him the kids need him to travel with us they are a little afraid without their father. Thank you so much for your hard work. Rest a bit then you can go." * She smiles and watches as her mate lands a few feet away.* " hunny!" * Bella walks towards him and nuzzles him.*
* Kiran nods and rests his wings and checks on his mice. They all napping on his back. He watches Franklin land. A few hours later he takes to sky and leads the other members to lake path and Bella before resting again once they are all gathered. * " we should move out in the morning it is to dark now."

* Bella nods and relaxes looking to the members of Herd. Beding down for the night she snuggles with mate and children. In the morning she gathers everyone together before having Kiran scout ahead. Once he is back and path is still clear they all walk the path to the high lands. Once there the Herd greets another and talk about what to do once the valley and meadow and river return to normal. Bella watches Kiran after a couple of days she is excited to see Dioduru with him. Knowing that everyone is safe and somewhat happy she decided to send the scouts out for food and may some shelter. In case of rain. Once they can return they can resume their happy Herd life. Until then this Herd will stand as one. That is how a herd should be*
