After he'd gotten back from his planet and seen the updates of information pushed through his senshi phone. It didn't really seem good, none of it did, but he really wasn't sure how to help and thought maybe he could ask a friend. That, and he wanted to find out what he might be able to do about the wards and technology on his world.

He was still a bit sick after the pollution had gotten to him, dark spots peppering his grey skin even after he'd scrubbed and scrubbed in the bath at Miss Ida's home. For now, he kept things hidden by wearing a big cardigan over his fuku as he ran out into the cool night air.

There was so much he had no clue about, but hopefully,y Daedalus might have a better view on things. Pleione had the foresight to take photos while he'd been caught off guard by everything, so he had those to show as well as a list of questions he wanted to ask about the Moon and whatever had gone on.

Daedalus was perhaps not the most informed about the entire situation, but he knew enough. Living with Murikabushi had kept him relatively informed, and he had scoured the database once there was information to scour, and when they had been given plans for satellites from Almadel, he'd set himself to work, making as many as he could.

It was difficult work, but conducted in the peace of his workshop on his planet, it went by easily, and he had plenty of people he could ask for assistance. Many hands made light work, and even if the burden felt heavy--even if saving his adopted world had become as important to him as saving his first home--he was at least heartened by the knowledge that they were all doing it together.

But Procyon was also his friend, and when he'd asked for help, Daedalus had set aside his night's work building to meet him in the city. He was not the only one working; even if it was difficult to remind himself of it, he knew that he could put down the buildings and return to them later.

There was still time. Not much, but enough, perhaps.

And Procyon seemed terribly distressed when they found each other, and it was strange to see him wearing something over his fuku.

"Procyon, are you alright?" He asked, immediately concerned. "What's happened, exactly?"

When Daedalus showed up, Procyon perked up slightly. It had been a while, but he was glad they'd had the time to make it out to him. It had him perking up slightly, even if he wasn't feeling his best still.

"I.. well I'm not exactly sure," he said with an exasperated little noise. Even if it had been on his own world, it hadn't been something he'd ever had to know about or deal with on his own. He always managed the people, not the magic or technology that ran things and kept the wards up in order to keep the water out.

"I finally went back to take a look."
Looking down at his feet, he felt embarrassed at how he'd waited so long to even look, especially with how determined and quick he had been to help other senshi with fixing their homeworlds. "The wards that kept the water out are down, maybe because of the storm?" Uncertainty filled his voice and his posture as he rambled, far from how he normally was.

"It's polluted, maybe, toxic? And it's all flooded and got on me. It's that algae that drove everyone to do what they did." Pulling one of his sleeves up, to show the dark spots peppering his grey skin, he looked between his arm and his friend.

"I know there's a lot going on, but I might need your help with things. I don't really know how it all works, and Pleione seems to think the algae is hurting me more because of something about how my skin is more porous? It isn't coming off, though, not like after I helped on your world."

Daedalus nodded along. It made sense--Procyon's expertise wasn't where his was. And the loss of all their people, all the support that really made a world turn....it was no surprise things had started to degrade.

Add the storms from the Calamitous Hollow on top, and. Well. A disaster waiting to happen. Or rather, a disaster happening right now, if the damage to Procyon's body was any indication.

"I have no doubt that it is toxic, and likely dangerous," Daedalus acknowledged. The splashes of gray on Procyon's arm....that was deeply, deeply concerning. "I...have carried an illness in my lungs since I was a child. Breathing the poisonous air of my world's factories from a young age....it was not good for me. But the Chaos made it so much worse."

He exhaled. He had confessed this to no one, not directly. "I was dying, when we drove the Chaos off my world. But clearing it has made the illness retreat. My lungs will never be healthy, I'll always have problems, but I am no longer quite so ill. I suspect...the situation may be the same for you." His gloved fingers hovered over one of the spots on Procyon's arm, but he didn't quite touch. They might be painful, or Procyon might just not want it--either way.

"If I can help reactivate the machinery that keeps the water at bay, I will be glad to try. But it will only be a stopgap, I'm afraid. We must find the Chaos itself, and root it out."

Watching as his friend spoke, bringing up a situation that he couldn't exactly understand given his world's way and culture, but the similarity in toxins he knew at least a bit about. But a factory, that wasn't something he had heard of until he had come here, they weren't something really he had known of, and the idea that people willingly polluted the air or water didn't sit right with him.

His eyes widened for a moment at their confession, confirming a worry he had back when he'd seen them before helping on their world. It wasn't something he had felt like he could speak up on at the time, not knowing enough about what the cause was or if it might be the change in climate, like he had experienced his own issues with the drier air in some seasons.

"I... well, I am glad you are doing all right now. I was worried then that you didn't look very well." Looking down at the spots on his arm, he didn't quite touch them for fear of it spreading, but he hoped they might be right. It tingled still, and when he bathed the area always felt dry and hard compared to the rest of his skin.

"Yes, I know, I think I know where it might be, but..."
Hesitating for a moment as he looked down at the ground and toed at the dirt. "I feel like others might get lost. I was locked out of the area long before the algae wiped out the rest of those who stayed below. I was up on the ground, and the others fared better away from the water, but my memory is spotty since I wasn't awake the whole time."

"I'd appreciate the help, friend, there are so many things down there I never saw, and I was hoping someone might have a better idea than I do. I always greeted people, helped them with their ceremonies, or handled the social side of things. I learned some things since coming here, but so much more must have been handled by the ones that stayed below that I had no idea about. "

This explained the divide between the people of his world and how the underwater cities were sealed off. It went far beyond what he knew as the social face of things, realizing more and more that he was left out of the rest for a reason, given his views on people and how things should be.

Daedalus smiled, in a way that was more than a little sad. "I'd have liked to be more honest about my state at the time, but I feared it would be distracting. Regardless, I'm as well as I'll be, now."

Procyon seemed so distressed, by his lack of knowledge. There had clearly been much kept from him--perhaps because it wasn't deemed necessary to tell him--and it seemed he hadn't had reason to fight that.

"We will find the answers," Daedalus promised. "And we will save your world. And you. This contamination will not stand."

He extended a hand. "Do you wish to visit your world now? We can begin searching, and I can attempt to do some emergency repairs."

Looking at the other, Procyon hoped they were recovered, but he couldn't deny that they were looking better than before. It was something he needed to maybe check up with the others about more often, he'd been so focused on helping when he could, but not actually getting the time to follow up with those he met after the fact. Just rushing along, aside from talking with those at Orah's home.

Feeling a bit better, he nodded as Daedalus promised him help. Taking their hand, he paused for a few moments as he worried over whether the contamination would irritate them more and make them sick. He didn't want to bring any illness or suffering to people he knew, or anyone really.

But with the mention of repairs and thinking about how they'd always been able to help get him used to the prosthetic they'd made for him, he nodded and pulled his Senshi phone out. "Yes, I think if we're careful..."

By now, he was a master of fiddling with the thing with one hand and got everything set up before thinking to give one more warning before pressing the button. "It should toss us out somewhere on land but if not... hold your breath because my home is mostly water..." Which meant it was mostly toxic still from the algae.
