"Wait. Wait wait wait."

Nectaris broke out of her usual bouncy gait and into a full sprint as she saw the senshi down at the other end of the block. Of course, she probably would've been like that with any senshi she didn't know right now.

She was on her mission to learn everything about everyone.

This time, the mission came with some cool extra fun things, though. 'Cause, like, this senshi?

She had a tail.

"Do you have a tail?" Nectaris asked, even though the answer was extremely obvious. "That is so cool. Also, so cute. Cool and cute!"

She skidded to a stop, remembering something. "Hi!" She said. "I'm Nectaris."

Wait. She did know who this was, now that she saw her face.

"Oops," she said. "Kemi! Hi. I guess I just got really excited, 'cause, like, fox people, and I didn't see your face from the back?" Her cheeks flushed for a second, but she seemed to get over any embarrassment pretty quickly.

"And your outfit is different now. Like, look at those sleeves! Those are awesome! I'd totally steal them for some of my lolita outfits."

Well, maybe not. She only had the one that was really full sweet lolita, she tended to gravitate more towards decora and fairy kei and stuff, but still. She was very sure she could use those sleeves for something. They were, like, peak fashion.

"I've been doing okay. Interviewing people. Fighting evil." She grinned. "The usual."

"Not a job," said Nectaris, giggling. "Although, maybe I could do something like that? Interviewing people on the TV? Although hopefully if I was in the news I'd be doing the fashion report and not, like, the weather."

It was sunny. It was rainy. It snowed. All of that was fun, but she'd like something that was a little less repetitive.

Which, luckily, magic was.

"But, nah. I'm talking to, like, senshi. Knights. People have been talking about, like, we don't know how to work together? So I thought it'd just be cool to try to get a list together of, like, people's abilities. Strengths."

She flexed.

"Goals."

"Then I'll have to tell everyone that you're super cool and nice and trustworthy," said Nectaris, bouncing up a little on her toes.

Should she be spreading around news that someone was extra trustworthy when they'd only had like two conversations? She chewed on her cheeks while she considered, then decided it was okay.

After all, people could decide that someone was untrustworthy right away. The opposite also had to be true.

"Having magic that's kinda scary isn't necessarily a bad thing," she added. "I mean, we're fighting some super evil people. I would think it was great if you got in their head and took them down a peg."

She grinned. Okay, maybe she didn't actually fight that much, but it was still a great mental image.

"So hopefully we can get you even more friends."

“What? No. You’re not the worst,” said Nectaris. She didn’t complain about Chaos quite as loudly as some people did, but that didn’t mean she didn’t have tons of problems with it. It like, destroyed worlds. It stole people’s minds.

It made her friends feel like they weren’t good enough.

“I’m pretty sure the rest of us just, like, full on died, if it makes you feel better,” said Nikki. She didn’t know if that kind of thought would actually help, but she was definitely impressed by all of the senshi who had managed to hold on for like a thousand years.

“But I think people were also, like, more split up back then,” she said. “Hopefully working together will help now? Or, like, I mean-“ she smiled. “I’ll always be glad to fight with you, too.”

Especially with her being so passionate and stuff. Nikki would just have to make sure she didn’t find out about any of the chaos boys. That could get complicated.

“But yeah it was good to see you again,” she said with a wave.
