 prompt It's a new year in the Kawani lands! Winter is in full swing and much of the land is covered in snow. Does your soquili do anything to acknowledge or celebrate the new year? Are they part of a herd or family that has a tradition or ceremony? Have they made a promise to start the new year with a clean slate and change themselves for the better? Or did they simply try to stay warm and wait for the snow to melt and spring to arrive? Write an RP responding to the above prompt. Your soquili should acknowledge the fact that it is a New Year - how they react to that is up to you.

It was cold in the fields and everything was covered in a really thick layer of snow. Bon-Bonne was trotting through that snow with ease as he didn’t really minded the snow at all. His little Cakes was struggling a lot more because he was smaller and didn’t really like the snow this much.
They were both really excited though as it was a special day today as it was the first day of a new year and he was going to visit his friends to celebrate it. He was going to celebrate the start of a new year with his two new friends Wispin and Healee. It was going to be the first time he was going to celebrate it with them.
And to be really honest it was the first time he was going to celebrate it at all. In the past he never did anything special when a new year arrived something not even realising a new year had already begun. He heard it was tradition for his friends to do something special for that day and today he as finally going to find out what it was.
He was both curious and super excited and wished he was there already but he didn’t go fast because of the snow. "We are almost there" he happily said to Cakes who nodded back. Cakes was really happy that they were getting close and he didn’t have to travel far in this snow.
Bon-Bonne picked up his small friend and carried him the last part of the journey putting him down when they finally saw their two friends. "We are here" he heard Healee shout. "I’m so glad you are here" he heard Wispin shout and he galloped towards them. "Happy start of a new year!" He shouted back. When he got close to his friends he happily added “I’m ready for the celebrations. I’m sure you two are too.”
Wispin nodded and replied “I sure am ready.” He smiled and added “You even sort of started it as the first thing we do is wishing everyone a very happy start of the new year.” We also say what good things you hope would happen to everyone in this new year.
Healee added and continued “We wish good things to our family and friends and hope bad things from the past stay away this year. Let me start to tell you Bon-Bonne that I wish for you to make lots of friends this year and that you don’t get lost in a strange place again. I hope you learn from staying here and learn to love it.” Healee really meant that he wanted Bon-Bonne and also Cakes to stay around. He really liked them and was lucky to befriend them even if the didn’t trust them at first. He quickly learned that was wrong and is happy he decided to befriend them.
"Thank you!" Bon-Bonne replied "That are some really good wishes for me. I like this tradition already it’s simple cute and you show others you care about them. Now it’s my turn." smiled and started talking "Healee I wish you will find all the special plants, herb and mushrooms you need for your study and help the people in need. You love doing that and that’s a good thing. May this year be easier for you." he continued "And for you Wispin I hope you keep doing the things you like and be happy about it. I also wish for you to have a better less stressful year with lots of friend around you. I hope you are NOT going to be in danger this year."
Both Healee and Wispin smiled as that were some really nice new years wishes from their new friend and they really like it.
"Thank you" Wispin said "I can hear you care about us a lot and we care about you. Healee wished me good health and less stress too earlier today. I’m so lucky to have friends like you around. Without you guys my life would have been a lot harder."
"Now it’s time for our next tradition for the new year. I have a lot of berries ready to eat and some are going to be used to make jam. Want to try too?"
The three friends started to eat some of the berries and made a lot more into some sort of jam. Bon-Bonne kept putting one in his mouth and one in the jam eating lots of berries which made his friend laugh even Cakes started laughing and helped.
"Hey leave some berries for the jam!" Healee playfully shouted.
Wispin said "Yes, please do" while popping a lot of berries in his mouth at onces.
"Hey!" Healee shouted before starting to laugh.
They all ate and laughed and acted silly till all berries where eaten or turned into jam.
"This will be enough for quite a while" Healee said. "Thank you both for the fun I had today."
"Thank you for all the well wishes" Bon-Bonne replied.
"It was fun today" Wispin said. We should really do this again next year. We can even add new things to do next time. Maybe a race or a new game?
"I’ll come up with something next year" Bon-Bonne promised. "I have a whole year to think about it. But the most important thing is, is that we are going to visit each other at the start of the new year and wish each other the best. Nothing is better than that and that should stay each year. "They all agreed but no time for next year yet. Lets find out what this year brings. Hopefully all their wishes turn out to be true.
And the end of the day they all went home. Hoping for a good year for everyone. They are really sure this year is going to turn out amazing!
