Sasha had been happy since things had changed with the cold winter season. Ian understood how he felt, even in part, which made him much happier with things. It also helped that now he knew Villon would do what he could and help keep his boyfriend safe as well as long as he healed them. Which other than making him tired wasn’t much of a problem now that he didn’t have to worry about violence anymore. Well at least not as much.
Watching the little clock on his game console as Ian worked, he was content to play the farming game they’d gotten him while they worked. He’d reached out to Hamal, well Eunkyung as he knew now was her name outside of things. Through the magic of the cellphone Ian had helped him with, he was able to ask her to meet up for snacks in the park which meant he had to be awake early when the sun was up. Now he was just waiting for Ian to finish work and then they could go, even if he was bad at waiting because he wanted to let his friend know their advice had worked and how happy he was over it all.

Looking up from his computer screen, looking over Sasha, Ian looked back to his screen and concluded what he was working on before standing up. Stretching, arms above his head, he took a few moments to let his body tense and relax as he yawned even. “Alright, I’m done for the day, we can get going since I know you’re biting at the bit here.” A turn of phrase he was almost certain the other wouldn’t know, but he’d fill him in later on it. It wasn’t the most commonly used phrase but he’d heard his mother use it often enough when he was a child.
“On the way back from this meeting would you like to go to a game store?” Thinking the other might like a new game for their switch, he’d let them pick, Ian wasn’t sure though but the offer was there. He really should get them some other things. “Or a bookstore, we can get some books for you or anything else you might like.” Maybe some food books, they could see ideas they might like to try, or stories or anything else. Ian was big on reading, he always had been, but he wasn’t suited for teaching and he knew it. It was hard for him to figure how to teach the other about this planet, and culture, but he was trying his best. He just doubted himself - a lot and often when it came to helping Sasha fit in and do well here.
“You still haven’t told me who this person is that we’re meeting…”

Wiggling slowly to slide out of the beanbag that had eaten him, he popped up with his switch and nodded. “Hamal! Eunkyung?” Trying to work out how it was pronounced without quite knowing how it was said, having only seen it in text so far.
Tucking the switch into the front pocket of his borrowed hoodie, he nodded again. “Farming game?” Something like the one he was playing now maybe, even if it took him awhile to figure out what the text read, he was happy to take care of the little virtual plants and animals. According to Ian a lot of the things in there were how things worked on Earth so it meant he was learning a bit more about this place as well.
“Books… plant books?” Something maybe that could help him with his planet if he could manage. If he could get anything to grow, he’d be relieved but he knew he needed to pull out the bad roots first, something he’d learned from the farming game. All the dead and sick plants had to go in order for new ones to grow.
“Eunkyung friend, like you!” Clarifying since Ian had met the corrupt senshi he healed each night, or at least some nights. It seemed like they weren’t getting into as much trouble, which made him slightly less nervous about things as they went on.

“You sound unsure of her name, or rather how to say it.” He knew it was a her because Sasha had told him as much, that was about all he knew till now. “You can ask her how to pronounce it when we get there.” Because he wasn’t sure either, it was foreign without a doubt, and he wasn’t about to go butchering someones name. “Sure, maybe even a pokemon game…you might like that.” It would give him a lot to do, it took time, and he took skill in figuring out what worked well against what and attacks and what ones to keep and what to discard as pokemon grew and learned new skills. He was sure there were guides still, perhaps online rather than magazine ones, but he could help him with it as well. It had been forever since he’d played any pokemon games…but how different could it be?
“We can do plant books, how about ones on food as well?” He questioned, thinking it a very good idea, even if they cooked together it would give Sasha more say in meals.
“Like me…a senshi?” He questioned before nodding slowly. “Alright, that’s good at least. So let’s go, grab some fruit on the way.” Since he’d likely be hungry and want to nibble on sometime, fruit was good and healthy for Sasha. He had to keep reminding himself he was an alien and so different dietary needs and such. Ruffling the others hair as he headed downstairs slowly, letting the other catch up.
“I’ll bring us some drinks as well…tea or what would you like?”

Giving them a so-so motion with his hand, something they’d taught him to do when something was in between or not clear enough. Which he thought fit the issue as best as it could. The mention of a pokemon game had him curious, it wasn’t one he knew but if it was something they thought he might like it could be fun.
“Food too yes.” Since half the time when he watched Ian do things in the kitchen, he was a little bit lost. Between all the technology and the unfamiliar foods and ingredients, he often just sat on the counter with his fruit and veggies and watched.
“Yes, good senshi.” Thinking for a minute. “Not like Villon.” Which was a weird middle ground in his opinion. “Met in space!” Smiling as they ruffled his hair a bit before he started following them down the stairs.
“Tea with lemonade?” Something they’d made him before and kept in the fridge. It made his face scrunch up sometimes but he still really liked it.

“Of course food, I’ll let you decide what you want for dinner.” Whether it was food out or food they made, he wasn’t opposed to either, Ian did try and allow Sasha a lot choices so the other could try new things when he wished, and go for what he knew and liked when he wanted that more. Sometimes it meant two different meals, one thing for him and something entirely different for Sasha, but that was fine by him.
“Alright, I can grab a thermos full for you and something for myself.” He went about preparing the others drink first and offering it over before settling on a bottle of cold water, straight from the fridge, for himself. It was simple but it really was enough right now. “Alright, at least I don’t have to worry about a run in with a corrupt senshi…that was a little nerve wracking with that other one the last time.” And he could do without a repeat of that again, at least with some other unknown corrupt, he’d deal with the one he now knew about…so long as they kept Sasha alive and safe.
His shoes by the front door were slipped on and laced up, a fairly new pair of boots, they looked a bit beat up but that was to be expected because he did do a lot of walking. “Alright, let’s get moving and see this senshi friend of yours.”

“Something new? Ask Eunkyung?” Maybe something altogether might be nice he wondered. Taking the thermos as it was offered, he held onto it before sitting on the floor and getting his shoes on. Unlike the boots Ian had, he had smaller sneakers that were comfortable for walking around in.
“Villon… not worst. No hand here.” Pointing at the center of his chest, he knew Ian had worried after the awful lady had grabbed his starseed. It had led to a bit more worry when he snuck out but now that things had settled down he didn’t worry as much. That didn’t mean he wasn’t still careful but it meant that over all the stress for both of them would be easier to manage.
Leading the way as they stepped outside, he had his phone out with the little link Eunkyung had sent so he could see where to meet up. There was a little arrow that was supposed to be him and Ian to help them keep track of where they were and what way they needed to go. It wasn’t too far, something they might have decided on once he said they didn’t have a car or anything. It wasn’t something he knew much about outside of the Ubers but Ian had mentioned it a few times now. He wasn’t sure exactly about it but as long as he didn’t have to try driving he was sure it would be okay with whatever one they picked.

“Dinner with her?” He questioned, wanting to be sure that was what Sasha meant. “If that’s what you want then sure, I don’t mind.” He was happy to know the other was making friends…at least this friend, he didn’t like the corrupt. The only thing that corrupt had going for them was they were going to keep Sasha safe and not attack him. “I know he’s not the worst, he’s still a corrupt senshi though. I’m allowing him because you vouched for him.” Otherwise he would not have allowed for it, he’d have taken his chances against the corrupt.
“Since we don’t have an uber arranged we can take a city bus if you’d like?” He offered, it would be better than walking the whole way no matter how close it was. Coming up behind the other to peek over his shoulder and eye the markings on the map. “We can get a bus…it’ll be quicker and easier - warmer.” Because while he didn’t like the cold he was used to it, and could handle it, Sasha wasn’t as used to it. “At least she’s close by, either way.” He’d make sure the rest of their time out took advantage of uber, and he could show Sasha how to use uber as well.

“Yes yes.” Nodding along as he watched the little arrow move on the map. The rest about Villon was okay too, he knew that they weren’t a great person but he still wanted to help even when the beginning wasn’t the best.
Looking up at Ian, he was a bit confused. “Bus?” Was that the other big car thing he saw sometimes while they were in an uber? The mention of it being faster or warmer sounded good though and he nodded again. “Okay then bus.” Saying the word with a bit of questioning in his voice still he moved to let Ian lead so he could figure out where to go to get on a bus.

“Alright, it’ll be a little bit of a walk to the bus stop, then we’ll be good.” He should look into finally getting his license, it had been long enough he supposed, he’d just never seen the point in it and he didn’t like the idea of driving. It didn’t appeal to him either way, it was just a thing, but it would make getting around easier since it wasn’t just himself now. He could drive Sasha around and a car would handle the extra groceries easier. So a car first and then a home…he’d bring Sasha with him, even if the other wasn’t going to be driving anytime soon.
“You’ll see what a bus is when it turns up at the stop. Don’t worry, I think it’s about time I get my license and get a car. I’ll work on that.” He was certain he could pass his exam for that, he knew how to drive but he just…didn’t.
Offering his hand to the other so he could lead them both to the bus stop. “Any idea if she’s already at the meeting place?”

Following along as Ian led, he had an idea that they were at the right place because a lot of people were waiting under the little clear building-looking thing that stood on the corner. All sorts of people with bags of groceries, or bags that looked more businessy stood waiting.
Once they stopped walking, that bit of chill hit him and he squished into Ian a bit. “No uber then? We can drive?” He wasn’t sure what a license was but he knew a car was like an uber so whatever that other word was it meant it was needed to use the thing.
At the mention of checking in, he looked at his phone and tapped on it until he got to the little message app to check what it said. It did look like they were be there soon, in fifteen minutes so he showed it to Ian as a large vehicle stopped in front of the little building thing. “Oh, it’s here?” Parroting something someone nearby said as he looked between Ian and the vehicle that was letting people off first.

“No, no uber if I get a car.” And he did have enough in his bank account and his credit was just fine, it would make things so much easier for them both if he took that step. “We can find a day where I’m free to go around, you can join me, and we’ll figure out the car issue.” He didn’t need something expensive or large, just enough to do what needed to be done, he was thinking something new though so no hidden problems he might have to handle. The idea of new was also appealing.
“Yup, this is the bus we’re going to take.” offering his hand to the other as he pulled back enough to let the other walk and step onto the bus. He knew it was cold out, and he felt bad for making the other walk. “See, it’s warmer on the bus.” Pulling them gently to a seat he sat himself down and pulled Sasha into his side as he hoped to keep them warm. “We won’t be that long, if you want to let her know.”
While they were taking a bus coming from one direction, EunKyung was taking a bus from another. She had a back hanging from her shoulder filled with snacks and drinks, while a bag from the grocery store was held in her hand, filled with fruits for Sasha. She had come prepared and was ever so glad the bus wasn’t too packed, as she was able to easily sit down and had room for the bags she had with her.
Glancing down at her phone she tapped out a message to let them know she was on her way, it would be fifteen minutes before she arrived. She asked how they were doing and how long they were looking at for arrival. She didn’t let them know she had snacks for them, she wanted to surprise them, she was pleased with this meet up as she wanted to see how they were doing.

Heading up the few steps onto the bus, he watched as Ian tapped a card to a pillar twice, once for each of them he figured, and then pulled him to a seat. There were a lot of people here but he remembered that it was rude to look around at them all and settled in while leaning into them.
With his phone out, he messaged Eunkyung and saw she would be there at about the same time they would be. So it seemed like everything would go well and he looked out the window at all the other cars and bigger cars that were around. If Ian was getting one soon what would it look like? There were so many different ones and he zoned out as he tried to think about all the different ones he’d seen since coming here.
“Warm one.” That was his main focus but otherwise he didn’t pretend to know anything about the rest of the process.

“Of course, it’ll have heat, I mean if I get leather seating I can do heated seats as well…” Which wasn’t a bad idea, if he thought about it, it did get cold in this city and a warm seat would be nice…well that decided one thing he’d be looking for. He did wonder now if they had steering wheels that warmed up, if so that would be perfect, he didn’t think he’d want to be holding an ice cold steering wheel for any amount of time. “I’ll take your with me and we can figure it out, see what we both like.” While trying to keep Sasha from standing out or seeming too odd to dealers.
He’d have to do some research at home, which shouldn’t be too hard, and he’d have the others opinions then as well. “How about tonight, when you’re more awake, we look over some websites and get ideas on what we might like to look at. I was thinking a car, I don’t see a need for an suv for us.” They didn’t need all that space, and he didn’t think they ever would really.
“We can see the color options as well as add ons, like seat warming.”
The bus ride was quick, with only two stops before her own stop, where a few people got on and several left, when it came to her stop a lot of people got onto the bus and she was one of only a few that got off. Bundling herself up a bit more she shifted the heavy bags she had and hurried off for the cafe where she’d agreed to meet them. Meeting in a warm place, somewhere with food and drink, was a good option because they could all warm up from the cold day.
Finding a table, towards the back of the shop, EunKyung set her bags down and went to get a drink ordered while she waited. It shouldn’t be too long of a wait, traffic lights could add some time to things, but while she waited a hot drink was perfect to warm up with.

“Okay, look tonight together.” Keeping his voice low as he spoke, watching the little map icon get closer and closer on his phone as the bus moved along. The ride did make him a bit tired and had him yawning slightly before rubbing at his eyes. The tea helped a little as he decided to pull the thermos out to sip at it.
The warm seats sounded good, but as for the color he wasn’t quite sure. He liked the color green personally but he wasn’t sure if that was good for a car or not. Looking over the messages again, he nearly dropped his thermos as the bus stopped and Ian pulled him up to get off at the stop. “Oh, here.” Smiling as he looked at the shop and then down at the dot saying they’d arrived at the destination.
Pulling his boyfriend inside, he smiled wider and waved as he saw Eunkyung. “Hello! Sorry, we’re late!” Remembering more snippets of the things that sounded normal for humans, he tried his best not to sound off with so many other humans around. Part of him wondered if they’d recognize him without his antennae but he knew he couldn’t walk around without the glamor pin on, Julienne and Ian told him about it more than once.
