Once homework was done, Pippa stepped out into the evening air, waving goodbye to her brother even as he frowned at her. She'd promised not to tackle any more bad guys, at least unless they really deserved it. But without Freddy there to see, she could maybe fudge things a bit. If anything it had been the motivation to stay on top of her homework because she wasn't allowed to go out and explore in her super magical awesome outfit unless she did her classwork. It was a bummer but she knew her brother was right. Even if she was older, if only by a few minutes, she got into trouble and rushed ahead too often. That didn't change tonight as she swung her pumpkin bucket while walking along with a spring in her step. Being Chillingham felt fun, and gave her a new feeling of connection to this weird country and city. Sure she'd made friends fast, but all of them were the normal type of people, what she wanted to do was make friends with other super magical people so she could talk more about it! Freddy only could understand so much as her brother and half the time he worried more than actually listened to what she was saying. Stopping for a moment in front of one of the fountains, she hopped up on the stone edge and balanced with her arms outstretched as she looked around for anyone else.

Exploring Destiny City made for a very convenient excuse to get the hell out of the house. It also made for a reason for Tianyi to be Tianyi, rather than Xiulan-but-under-a-glamor; it felt weird and wrong to be himself but not himself, with so much of him hidden behind magic to make sure no human realized that there were aliens among them.
And anyway, it also made for a good reason to avoid sleeping, which was hard and messy and full of perils. So, none of that.
He wandered towards the sound of a splashing fountain, curious and fascinated, and when he arrived, there was someone strange standing there. Tianyi tilted his head to the side, the tiniest of frowns on his face--was this....a Knight? Like Ekstrom? The person in front of him felt Order, but definitely wasn't a Senshi, and.....
Well. Fascinating.
"Hello," he said, as politely as he could, "I'm sorry if this is a strange question, but....what are you?"

Hearing someone speak up, Chillingham spun on her heels and waved. "Oh, Hello!" The wide smile on her face at someone else showing up that felt okay, not all gross like the bad guys she'd dealt with before, changed a bit as she tilted her head in confusion. "A brit?" With a tilt of her head, she looked at them a bit more closely, noticed all the soft pastels and flowiness to their outfit. Then there were little horns and wings and all sorts of things and she wondered if they were just like the other senshi she had met. But they'd had paper talismans, not anything else. "Oh uh... Chillingham! That's who I am, who are you?" With that, she hopped down and stood in front of them, maybe a bit close but she was always about stepping forward and making friends. "Are you from somewhere across the pond too?" Like Eunkyung was, well further than that but still, she was excited to maybe be meeting someone who wasn't form this city.

Oh. Dear. This was going to be very confusing, Tianyi thought.
"Sailor Tianyi," he introduced himself, gently touching his fingers to his chest and giving a little bow. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Chillingham. What's a Brit?" They'd said it like they expected him to know; probably it would make sense to someone from Earth automatically. Another sign of his ignorance. His ears twitched a little, a slight flick of nerves.
"Ah, I'm. Not from this planet. So if I seem ignorant, please excuse my lack of knowledge."

"Tianyi... that's a pretty name," she piped brightly as she returned the little bow gesture they did with their introduction. "Oh it's just where I'm from and... oh! OH! Like way way farther than Leeds or Brighton." She was dumbfounded, to say the least, that not only where they not from here but they were so polite on top of it, it made her feel like she needed to maybe calm herself a bit not to spook them too much. Looking up at the sky for a moment she wondered how far away that far away was they'd come from. "So from another one of those stars or planets up there?" Pointing up where she'd been looking she wasn't quite sure about much other than she had to tell her brother about this ASAP. "What's it like up there? In space?"

Ohhh. Okay. Tianyi nodded. Of course people on Earth would still have ways to designate where they were from, especially if their world was so big that being from a different part of it made such a large difference.
"Farther than that, yes," he acknowledged, as if the names meant anything to him. He'd simply have to ask someone where they were, get a good look at a map of Earth.
Oh, there was so much he didn't know, and English text swam in front of his eyes, so different from Tianyian and so hard to order into proper words. He could speak it fine, but anything else was...hard.
"I am, yes, from a different star system." He looked up, and sighed. "Tianyi. All of us Senshi carry our world's name as our own." He scuffed a foot against the ground. "It, um. It's not good. A lot of worlds are destroyed or cut off. I've been told I'm likely the last survivor of my people. I don't know for sure--I was magically asleep for a very, very long time."

It was exciting to hear, that she was meeting someone from out there in the stars and had her slightly rocking on her heels. At least until the sigh came and a much different response came out than the one her endless imagination had started to come up with. "Wot?" Furrowing her brow as she asked, she just couldn't believe it. If it was all destroyed or cut off then what kept whispering and pulling her to go somewhere up there? At least that's what she'd figured it was after talking to that other magical guy who had helped her and her brother when that snow thing had attacked and she became all magical too. "Like sleeping beauty... maybe something got missed? Maybe it's not all bad everywhere?" She tried to sound hopeful, not just because of her own imagination but because she felt bad for this new person. "Well... if you want? I can tell you about things here maybe? Whenever you want? Uh... if you wanna be friends maybe?" She offered her hand to shake theirs but paused, was that a thing they did or not? And if they were asleep for so long how come they didn't look old and wrinkly? That had to be magic too. Ugh, she wished she knew more about all this, it was so much more than she'd thought she might find in this new place.

Tianyi shrugged his shoulders. "I've talked to other Senshi and Knights from here, and they've said that it's all very empty. But the magic is still there, at least. Or we wouldn't keep Awakening, or live for so long."
It all felt a little grim, but hopefully not so much as he'd initially made it seem. And maybe her optimism wasn't totally misplaced. He'd been asleep, after all. Maybe he would find something there he hadn't seen. Maybe...well, maybe there was more to see.
"I would very much like to be friends," he said, "and to hear your perspective on your world. Everyone sees things differently, yeah?" That was certainly something he'd learned. And now he had the ability to seek them out for himself.
