Lysa liked to spend a fairly decent amount near the temple of Hera. It was like a second home to her, especially since she had not a loved one or children to spend time with. So why not be devout to Hera in the meantime?

The soft sound of the bells about her feet jingled in the cool winters night and she heard the hushed sounds of whispers approaching, the light clap of hooves on hard ground. Someone approached.

The bird that liked to spend it's time around her chirped and flew around in excitement. Lysa was curious and hopeful for whoever approached, perhaps they were looking for a blessing from Hera herself? Lysa knew it was within her power to gift upon a couple, but she had never done so before and was a bit nervous.

Perdix and Alektoris had met during one of the festivals, there was just something about him that called her home as well as him. They were 'birds of a feather' you could say. She had met her match in him and couldn't be happier. Yet, there was more they both wanted in this life. They wanted a family of their own, to send forth children into the world. And the more the merrier, as she would say and of course Alektoris wasn't going to argue with her about it. He always dreamed of having a large family so, here they were.

His footsteps fell heavier, a wing draped across her back as they walked towards the temples entrance. Her footsteps were lightly, and seemed to hesitate a little. Removing the wing from her back he looked at her with a soft smile. "Small or large, any family with you is worth it." Her eyes met his and she nodded and they continued to walk up to the temple where Lysa was waiting for them.

Her warm smile greeted them both and the little bird that liked to hang around was currently nestled next to the holly in her hair and the bells danced as she walked towards the couple. "Welcome to the temple of Hera, my name is Lysa and I welcome you. I don't like to presume, why don't you tell me what has brought you both here today."

Alektoris looked towards his mate with warm eyes and they both faced Lysa, though Perdix seemed a little more shy now than when she first started on this trip. "My mate Perdix and I, Alektoris, were hoping to seek a blessing from Hera. We hope to start a family soon, and while we always dreamed of a large family, any family is alright with us." He looked over at Perdix and she was staring at him, her eyes swimming with emotions and love. "Exactly that." She added softly as the duo turned back towards Lysa.

Lysa nodded. She wasn't sure how much she could do, but she would give it a try. "In the name of the Goddess Hera, I Lysa, do bless upon you, Perdix and Alektoris, with a blessing and the hope that the two of you are blessed with that family you both desire."

Perdix nodded her head in gratitude and approached one of the nearby alters and placed a stem of flowers upon it's surface and then returned to her mate. The two bid their farewell and hoped for the best.
