At the heart of the City of Crows lies The Black Ward, a grand and meticulously designed plaza reserved not for aristocrats, but for those whose unwavering loyalty and service to Queen Declasia define their lives. Encircling the square are stately manors, built from dark marble and adorned with elaborate ironwork, each a reward for those who have earned the Queen's trust. Towering windows framed by slender columns and spired rooftops tipped with glowing Darcane orbs convey not wealth but the honour and purpose of their occupants. Subtle Egyptian influences, such as hieroglyphic patterns and obelisks standing sentinel at their gates, add an air of timeless mystique.
The square itself is paved with smooth, polished obsidian tiles that shimmer faintly in the lilac glow of ornate streetlamps, their bases entwined with carved crows mid-flight. At its centre stands a colossal statue of Queen Declasia, her figure graceful yet commanding, a symbol of her authority and the strength of those who serve her. The air hums with an unspoken reverence as members of the royal guard—clad in sleek, ceremonial armour—patrol the square, embodying the Queen's ideals of protection and order.
Manicured trees and neatly trimmed hedges surround the square, providing a touch of restrained greenery. Yet beneath the surface, the faint hum of magical wards speaks to the importance of this place, safeguarding the homes of loyalists and defenders of the city. The Black Ward is a sanctum of service and devotion, a place where power is measured not in riches but in allegiance and sacrifice for the Queen and her people.

Team Sun followed Claudia as they vacated the Black Palace. A Short walk away was a place she introduced to them known as the Black Ward. Micha'el could compare it to a calm, yet lavish residential quarter. Lottie was taken aback with how quietly beautiful it was under the now midday, wintery sun. They were on an overlook, where the rest of the city could be seen. It was as though this area guarded the city. Claudia pointed out the home that she shared with Nyru, the Statem Estate, given to Nyru after his family moved to Absolute. Obviously, by extension, he welcomed Claudia to live with him in the large home. Well - he begged, he couldn't bare to be alone in such an empty home. Then, she pointed out the manor that would be there's for the time-being.
((I thought i'd like you take the wheel with Claudia for this section? Hopoefully this new thread's description will set the atmosphere for you to imagine the place well enough! After - i might even bring Nyru and his very fabulous Sister))

Tsuna MikiTsuna felt strange when Declasia brought up Alexis out of the blue wanting information they didn't have. The defeated attitude she tried to conceal during to time at the academy had been nagging at Tsuna, but everything with Ivan took presentence over that. Also, it may have just been bad wording, but had this decease claimed a human victim they didn't know about? So far the only victims she knew of was Ivan and possibly Claudia, and if she knew anything about royalty, the queen wasn't going to divulge her secrets so easily. Tsuna decided to keep quiet and play everything by ear, sometimes her immediate distrust in people worked to her advantage. Claudia lead the team on a short walk over to the Black Ward, a residential lavished suite. The Black Ward over looked the city and everything glimmered under the midday winter sun. Claudia began droning on about the area's significance before looking track on thought and proudly pointed out her living quarters. "Oh! That's where Nyru and I live! Of course, he couldn't live without me which I'm grateful for since we're practically inseparable." She still remembered the day they were first paired together and she believed once a teammate, always a teammate. She hoped that Team Sun would always be together and from the looks of their comradery it looks like they will be. Before she could say anything else the sound of distinct heel clips could be head echoing through the courtyard. Claudia grimaced and her face turned pale as Tsuna tilted her head concerned thinking that the infection was starting to take its toll. "Are you al-" Tsuna was rebuffed as Claudia shoved the three of towards their quarters urging them to get inside. "Hurry! Hide! Save yourselves!" As the three of them practically stumbled into the doorway, Tsuna turned and blurted out, "Hide from-" She was cut off again when the door was shammed in her face. "Who?" She finished befuddled as she turned to her teammates who were probably equally confused.

Micha'el had to admit, Claudia was much kinder than he perceived her to be from first glance. And as she showed them them Black Ward boulevard he felt a friendliness to her professionalism. She pointed out where she and Nyru were staying. The manor was large, larger than any home he had lived in before, and from the outside it looked incredibly austere. However, before they could be shown to their own manor, Claudia's face pulled into a painful grimace, one that looked like she was being touched on the spine with something horrifically sticky and wet. Micha'el wondered if she was suddenly in pain, and Tsuna attempted to ask if the woman was alright. At that moment Lottie couldn't help but overhear the sound of heels clashing with the stone boulevard somewhere behind Claudia. She leaned to one side to catch a glimpse, but only managed to see two figures, approaching before Claudia began to herd them towards the next manor's front door. Lottie brushed by some shurbs, and Micha'el felt himself back into some brickwork before the three of them were being forcibly admitted to their new residence. The royal guard exclaimed that they save themselves, and Tsuna turned as they stumbled inwards to ask what on Magic Earth she was talking about when the door slammed in their face.
Micha'el pulled himself up against the wall, which was decorated with a navy blue Victorian-esque wallpaper. "That didn't seem... normal?" Micha'el asked, pushing his glasses up against the bridge of his nose. Lottie side-stepped into a small room beside them, where she could see outside through the net curtain of a window. "What could be so terrifying in the city?" Lottie asked, peering through to get a better glimpse at the two figures. She could see now that Claudia was joined by Nyru and another mystery figure, a tall slender lady clad in blue and red. They were already clambering for the front door when Lottie failed to warn her teammates that the woman was marching in.
Moments before, Nyru watched in amazement as Claudia seemed to shove Team Sun away before turning to face them in the street. Immediately, Nyru rolled his eyes, guessing that Claudia was making a clandestine effort to keep Team Sun from his sister. She failed - miserably. Isabelle, in her beautiful and equally intimidating crimson and black attire stepped forwards, calling Claudia's name like it was a summons. "It's so good to see you! Although I'm afraid I must investigate those poor souls you've just shoved into that building. Nyru tells me you've got an elusive team under your wing." She moved passed Claudia casually, ignoring any efforts she might make to stop her as she came to the door and opened it.
Isabelle Statem emerged into the hallway, taking one step onto the mahogany floor before coming to a stop as she came face to face with Tsuna and Micha'el, looking rather awkward. She then heard the scuffle of Lottie emerged in the doorway to her left, who immediately said "woh" as she beheld Isabelle's beauty. Her face was chiselled, yet feminine, pale like her brother, with hair as dark as brown could get. It was pulled back into a tight ponytail that hung down to her waist. Her clothes, some kind of leather, was firmly wrapped around her limbs and torso, exposing the V of her chest, where some of the leather appeared to have a spike texture. Her wrists were both adorned with black bracelets that resembled black, chunky thorns. Last, but certainly not least, were her very high, very black, heels. "You didn't tell me he was cute" Isabelle said, looking over her shoulder. "17" Nyru added, shaking his head, to which Isabelle said "don't worry, I'm not taking him on a date" she then looked directly at Micha'el and said "I prefer guys a little older than me" and then sauntered ahead into the kitchen behind them all. "Remember when we all blacked out on this counter?" Isabelle turned and pulled herself up to sit on the island at the centre of the large room. "I apologise" Nyru began, stepping in after Claudia, and closing the door behind them. "This is my sister, Isabelle, and she lacks any kind of subtlety or manners" "Please" she rebuked, "this is hardly a time for subtlety, and I already complimented the young man. Claudia, back me up here will you?"

Tsuna MikiMicha'el secured himself in front of a navy blue Victorian-esque wallpaper wall trying to comprehend the situation, meanwhile, Lottie glued herself to the window by the entrance. He commented on the strange behavior a royal guard of her station committed, and Lottie began to wonder if anything within the city could be terrifying. Tsuna shook her head and stepped away from the door a bit past the room to peer into the manor. Everything was stocked and fully furnished to accommodate the needs of guests. Truly an elaborate ruse to trick the mind into a false sense of comfort, or so she told herself because she couldn't trust the Queen. Maybe she couldn't trust Claudia or Nyru...even Horakthy was being secretive. Her thoughts were derailed as the mysterious anomaly that Claudia tried to shield them from barged in.
Claudia turned just to hear her name chiming from Isabelle's lips as if she were a servant being summoned for her mistress. She quickly put on a false smile returning Isabelle's formalities before being inevitably shoved aside. "Team? What team? There's no one in there! Nothing to see!" Her efforts to keep Team Sun anonymous failed and Isabelle burst through the door like she owned the place. Claudia placed a hand on her head as if she had a headache miserably following Isabelle and Nyru inside. The woman that stepped inside followed by the two royal guards was indeed striking. Lottie spoke for all of them as she was taking back by her incredible beauty. Her chiseled, feminine physique was pale, similar to Nryu's with dark silky brown hair. Her hair was tied into a high ponytail that cascaded down her waist. The leather outfit she wore was black and red wrapping around her body, exposing a V shape at her chest, and sported a spiky texture throughout. Her wrists were covered with chunky black bracelets that looked like thrones that complimented the biggest thing that stood out about her. The heels she wore were massive and clicked heavily on the mahogany floor she now stood on. Suddenly, she appeared to be flirting with Micha'el only for Nryu to quickly shut her down due to him being underage. Tsuna's cheeks puffed up and her eyes began to water as she held in laugher. Lottie probably wasn't assumed since she had a fondness for their teammate. Isabelle insisted that she would never date him do to the obvious age gap as she went over to the kitchen island and took a seat on the counter recalling old memories. Claudia looked away embarrassed wishing Isabelle would keep her mouth shut lest she ruin her astute image as a royal guard. Nyru apologized for her behavior introducing her as if sister, but she refused to take his insult. Claudia couldn't refuse Isabelle knowing she'll pay for it later and went along with her antics hesitantly. "Isabelle is....truthful, though a bit forcefully." Tsuna finally overcame her internal laugher before turning to the woman attempting her match her stamina. "Micha'el's already spoken for, besides, he'd never be interested in dating a woman of your...magnitude." Tsuna knew she sounded arrogant and would probably piss Isabelle off, but maybe it just might work to get her out of their hair. Chances were she probably couldn't trust her either so there was no point in getting to know her. Claudia couldn't believe the words that just came out of Tsuna's mouth and stood there in disbelief. She prayed this wouldn't result in the young Therian's funeral.

It appears her comments about Micha'el appealed Tsuna, and Isabelle noted the girl's humour. Meanwhile, it appeared Lottie's face went from admiration to a quiet defence. Taking in the subtle personality traits, she went on to defend her case against Micha'el to her brother, who then introduced her to them. Claudia, ever the diplomat, agreed with both sides.
Tsuna then turned her attention to Isabelle directly, attempting to match her energy. Isabelle raised a brow, looking down towards the girl from her perch as Micha'el shook his head and waved his hands in defence. Lottie was also staring wide-mouthed at this point as Nyru shook his head. There was a moment of silence as Isabelle calculated her response, only to say "and I assume you're the woman of magnitude this young man deserves?" her eyes then glanced, if only for a moment, towards Lottie to see her red cheeks before returning to Tsuna. She then swapped her crossed legs elegantly and added "quite the compliment though, thank you. Now please stop being confrontation I want to know about this secret mission you must be on." Her tone flipped from serious and uncaring, to genuinely interested and playful. After taking some threatening glances from Nyru and Claudia, she raised gestured with her hand towards the air above, as if tossing her thoughts up as she said "what? I know adventure when I see it."

Tsuna MikiEveryone was on edge from Tsuna's vigor and didn't have a response or even defense to interrupt. However, Isabelle cracked a perspective she did not expect causing her to burst out laughing. "You've assumed wrong I'm afraid. I don't know s**t about love, but I'm sure the love affairs of a bunch of children doesn't interest you in the slightest." Tsuna saw how red Lottie's cheeks were as Micha'el silently waved his hands trying to defuse the situation. Isabelle adjusted her long legs, and thanked Tsuna for her compliment, although, it wasn't really boisterous. Instead she inquired about the adventure they were on and demanded to know all the details. The shift in her tones caused Nyru and Claudia to sit idly by knowing not to tip the scales any further. Tsuna scoffed and then smirked devilishly, "And why would we divulge valuable information so easily?" Claudia stared wide eye unable to swallow her disbelief when Tsuna suggested to worse. "Fight me for it and if you're worthy I'll tell you. Maybe I'll learn some of your secrets." Claudia gasped and shook her head at Isabelle making an X sign with her hands. Surely, Isabelle will refuse right when fighting and defeated her and Nyru brought her so much joy!

Isabelle pulled an expression that was a difficult mix of impressed and surprised. Her eyes looked over Tsuna's body, eyeing a bruise on her neck, the tired bags under her eyes, a slight cut on her cheek - nearly healed - and the roughness of her hands. In that moment Claudia sighed and gestured for her to cease further playing with Team Sun. Micha'el saw it then, the playful side of Isabelle perhaps wasn't all it seemed as she simple said "no." Nyru sighed, crossing his arms as he leaned back against a nearby wall. Micha'el narrowed his eyes, and Lottie stared as Isabelle continued. "This kitchen hardly deserves to be destroyed, it's mahogany flooring after all. Nyru then pushed away from the wall and joined them in the kitchen. "Izzy - I brought you here to meet them officially" he said, eyeing her before facing Team Sun. "I'm certain Claudia had planned to show you around the home properly, however I must discuss something with her for a few moments. Please, make yourselves at home, there are rooms upstairs that you can leave your belongings in. Meet us in the drawing room when you're finished.
Micha'el was glad to find that things were back to business, and that Isabelle could tease him no longer. He nodded and wondered why Nyru's sister was going to speak with them. He led the way upstairs, speaking quietly to his friends on the way up. "This place is huge, how long does the Queen expect us to stay?" "However long it takes us to find more information, right Tsuna?" she looked to Tsuna as she rounded the turn half way up the stairs. "The Queen said she would help"
Each of them found a room of their own, complete with victorian style furniture made from ornately carved wood and upholstered plumply with complimentary muted colours. It also turned out each room came with an en suite.
Downstairs, Nyru took Claudia and Izzy to the drawing room. The space was carpeted, with heavy curtains draped over the wide window on one side, with a desk surrounded by bookcases behind it. There was also a large table at the other side of the room, with some chairs, plumb stalls, and even a bench against the wall beside a large vase and piano. "You didn't need to be so brazen" Nyru said, turning calmly to face his sister. "I thought i'd get on their good side - turns out they're a little less fun than anticipated. That red-head appears to be quick to bite though - I like her. Reminds me a little of Claudia back in the day." Izzy grinned at Claudia, plonking herself down on a chaise lounge. "I don't have time for this" Nyru interjected, turning now to his partner. "The Queen wants me to send spies into Occulas... to Entie." In the moment he said it, the words hung heavy on his heart as his eyes looked into hers. It was obvious in that moment that his heart and his loyalty were at war inside. He hasn't spoken to Laxion for some time now, things went bad, Nyru lost his trust, and they apparently ended on good terms but... Laxion could no longer see a future with Nyru. Nyru... still hasn't moved on, even though he doesn't show it. "She wants information on Alexis Truesvale." He swallowed, hoping Claudia will have something reassuring to tell him. He trusted the Queen completely, her intentions were always in the interest of peace and in the good of her people. But how could he spy on the best friend of the man he still loves. He did not mention Laxion's name, no one has for a long time, it was an unwritten rule. But he knew his best friend would know what he was saying between the lines. Perhaps reassurance? Guidance? He didn't know what he wanted to hear - he just wanted to tell her. She would understand.

Tsuna MikiIsabelle, well actually anyone with eyes, could see how worn down the half-Therian appeared. Her skin was pale from lack of nutrition and the loss of blood was still affecting her. She was a bit shaky, but was exerting any energy she could muster to keep herself study. The lack of sleep was also evolving into paranoid so when Isabelle declined Tsuna nearly lost it. The fact that she was worried about the kitchen's interior made her scoff and split out cockily, "You scared?" Nyru defused the situation by stepping in and noting that he simply wanted to introduce her, nothing more. Besides, Claudia still hadn't given them a complete tour which she will happily oblige after the three converse alone. For now, Team Sun was sent away in explore their quarters and put away their belongs until rejoining them downstairs. Claudia signed in relief as she followed her comrades into the drawing room leaving Team Sun to their own devices. As Micha'el lead the way, he questioned how long the Queen expected them to stay. Lottie even added to Micha'el query assuming that the information lies in their hands. Tsuna grumbled accusingly, "Or until we're no longer useful, I suppose." She wasn't going to allow herself to be persuaded by luxury and would stick to her gut feelings on the matter. Lottie honestly believed the Queen would help, but she begged to differ. Before she could say more, they were each at a room that was fully furnished with Victorian wares. The wood all around was ornately carved and the upholstery was plush with complimentary muted colors. It took all her strength to resist the urge of crawling onto the bed and sleeping the rest of the day away. She hesitantly shut the door to her suite and went to Lottie's room where Micha'el joined them. Once they were inside, Tsuna shut the door and lowered her voice looking around skeptical. A shiver went up her spine because she felt that every second they stayed their they were being watched. "Listen...we can't trust them...none of them. Maybe I'm losing my mind, but I having a bad feeling about our presence here. Think about it, why would she inquire about Alexis Truesvale of all people?"
Back in the drawing room, the area was carpeted the the furniture well padded out. There was a table and chairs for conversing, a bookcase, a piano, and even a large vase. Curtains dropped to one side of a window and when the sunlight fillered through onto the writing desk it looked so peaceful. Nyru addressed his sister's attitude, but she always had an excuse or some witty remark to combat. She found Team Sun dull, however, Tsuna's sharp tone reminded her of a younger Claudia. Claudia of course blushed embarrassed as Isabelle made herself comfortable on the chaise lounge. Nyru dismissed her and informed them that he had to send spies into Occulas, more specifically Entei where Laxion resided. The two ended things, but the remnants of love still lingered in her partner's heart. Claudia walked over to him placing an understanding, firm hand on his shoulder to show that she was always on his side. "The Queen knows what is best, her hunches are never wrong. It's not a betrayal of him, it is simply a service of our loyalty to her. You're not alone Nryu, me and Isabelle will be here with you." She pulled him into a short hug to assure him that she'd do anything for him. After she gently pulled away, she turned to Isabelle and replied, "Team Sun are the closest benefactors we have at the moment. However, what the Queen is asking us to do stays between us. If we pry about Alexis to them they might become hostile considering she is their instructor. For now, we deter them from the subject and make them feel welcome." It sounded like a sleezy tactic, but she couldn't help but be wary. Her service was to Declasia was absolute and would turn against Team Sun if commanded too though she hoped it would never come to that.

I've inspired platinum records, I've earned platinum airline status And I've mined a couple diamonds from the stories in my head But I'm reduced to just a body here in someone else's bed
Micha'el pulled out a chair with plumb upholstery by a desk and mirror in Lottie's room, sitting carefully as Tsuna closed the door behind her and found a spot for herself. Lottie was sat, leaning back, on her bed. She looked more than comfortable already. She then told them her thoughts, and her decided opinion that no one here could be trusted after the Queen enquired about Alexis Truesvale. Up until Micha'el hadn't actually given it too much thought, but he had to agree. "You're right... though I hate to admit it. But..." Micha'el straightened his glasses, pondering the best way for him to string her thoughts into a sentence. He didn't like that he didn't have time to prepare for this conversation. "Declasia might have a point. Why was Alexis visiting for the Christmas Ball? It's not a custom. She might think that we were sent by Alexis, perhaps?" "She's suspicious..." Lottie chimed in, staring blankly at the floor. She then looked up, "not the Queen, I mean. She is mysterious, but she must suspect Alexis of something. Surely the queen must be looking after her people - there must be a miscommunication somewhere?" Micha'el weighed those thoughts too, but he didn't want to jump to any conclusions. He looked to Tsuna. "I think we should do what you think is right, Tsuna... but I also don't want to assume anything until we know the truth. Perhaps we should withhold our thoughts until we know that we can trust them?"
Nyru nodded as Claudia reassured him. He felt comfort hearing his best friend reaffirm what he was already trying to tell himself. Isabelle was seated properly now, paying more attention to Nyru after she realised the conversation was a matter of the heart, and how her little brother's feelings yearned for a love he no longer had. She couldn't bare to see him as he was some time ago. As the two guards hugged, she placed a hand on his arm to let him know she was there too. Then, as Claudia brought conversation back to Team Sun, Isabelle sprawled back on the chaise lounge. "Right" Nyru replied. Isabelle gave no thoughts, this was purely a Declasian concern, and nothing for her to get involved with as a member of the Occult. Some minutes passed, and Team Sun joined them from upstairs, taking seats wherever they chose. "This can be your home for as long as you need to stay" Nuru said, warmly, "whilst we work together to explain the correlation between your adoptive father's illness, the avian attack, and the disease on our Harrowsteeds - please make yourselves comfortable and use the city as you require. As guests of the Queen herself, you may request specifics from myself, Claudia, or any of the royal guard during your stay. We will do what we can to help. In exchange, we would appreciate exchanging knowledge regarding the incidents, and also joint missions to investigate this in the coming days. Any questions?" "Uhm... Yeah." he turned to Isabelle sheepishly, suddenly blushing after remembering her comments from earlier, but his need for clarity itched. "Are you one of the royal guard? Just, so... you know. We wouldn't want to bother you if not." Isabelle raised her brow, kicking a slender leg up as she leaned on one arm. "Oh don't worry - I won't be here for long. And no - I'm not a royal guard and technically im not a Daywalker. I'm Valiant - from the Occult. I was just visiting to check in on my baby brother." Lottie's lips parted as a sort of glazed expression passed over her face. Isabelle took it as confusion, so she went on to say "to explain any weird looks. Yes - I was born Daywalker, I joined the Occult, put on the Valiant Crown, did the ritual, yes it hurt, now I'm Valiant. Yes we are still related." Micha'el wasn't quite sure how to respond, he hadn't expected so much information in one go and to be honest not all of it made sense. Nyru looked to Claudia, with a sigh. Lottie meanwhile re-focused, hiding her expression whilst nodding as if she understood it all. Nyru then re-opened his question, "any more questions... for me, my intrusive sister, or Claudia? Actually, don't ask my sister any more questions, she shouldn't even be here."

Tsuna MikiMicha'el sat down on a plush chair while Lottie sprawled herself out on the bedspread looking entirely to confrontable. When Tsuna voiced her thoughts, Micha'el reluctantly agreed but had his preservations about Queen Declasia. It was odd that Alexis was attending a non-formal event and her mannerisms didn't complement her attendance. Maybe the Queen thought they were sent by Alexis, and would explain why she was so inquisitive. Lottie chimed in implying that the Queen was suspicious of Alexis, but why? It would imply that she sees her as an enemy if the line of questioning was to supposedly protect her people. Micha'el's quiet demeanor meant that he was thinking of a solution and his answer was not to jump to conclusions. They had to give them a chance before they could or could not trust them and Tsuna ultimately agreed with this sentiment. Still, she wondered if she should still be a leader considering all the trouble she's got them in thus far. She nodded and replied soundly, "We'll observe longer until a decision can be made." With their small meeting upstairs adjourned they headed downstairs to convene with the others.
Tsuna stood beside a window affirmingly as Nyru laid out the "Welcome Wagon" for them listing their assets. They were allowed to stay in the house as long as they liked and were able to ask Claudia, himself, or any of the royal guards for assistance in the virus investigation. Their goal was to unveil the connection between her infected father, the aviaries, and the Harrowsteeds, in exchange Team Sun provides any information they withhold or will soon discover. Sounds like reasonable terms, but Tsuna bit her tongue unwilling to comply until she knew for certain they could be trusted. Suddenly, Micha'el sheeplish addressed Isabelle about her status and she assumed he no longer wanted to be harassed by this woman. She simply stated no, and revealed that she's a Valiant of the Occult. This raised strange looks in all directions to which she had to clarify that she was born a Daywalker, took an oath to join the occult, ritual and all, is now a Valiant, and that her and Nyru are definitely related. Tsuna was intrigued to know more, but as Isabelle said she wouldn't be here for long so there was no point. Shrugging off his annoyance, Nyru reiterated to which Tsuna stepped and replied, "Where are you keeping the infected Harrowsteed? We can start there, I'd like to see them." She didn't bother saying please or thank you, and decided to keep her cutthroat attitude she had been dishing out this whole time.

Isabelle Statem `•.¸ ¸.•´`•.¸ ¸.•´`•.¸ ¸.•´`•.¸ ¸.•´`•.¸ ¸.•´ So, where do I go in the process when I'm just an apparatus? I've inspired platinum records, I've earned platinum airline status And I've mined a couple diamonds from the stories in my head But I'm reduced to just a body here in someone else's bed
"Eager, I see" Nyru commented quietly, studying Tsuna's body language. This girl certainly didn't want to waste her time with any pleasantries. "The Harrowsteed are kept to the west of the city. We can leave within the hour. Please allow us to prepare some horses for you before we make way. I will then meet you in the courtyard outside." Nyru moved to leave the drawing room them, eyeing Claudia and Isabelle as he did so. "Keys are on the counter, one for each of you." As they began to leave, Lottie chased after Isabelle, catching her in the next room. She sheepishly looked at her team as Isabelle asked what she wanted. Lottie played with her hands awkwardly, talking too quietly now for anyone else to hear. What could she need to discuss with Isabelle so privately? Micha'el couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy in his chest. He looked at Tsuna, then back at Lottie who spoke something silently that caused Isabelle to widen her eyes. She then composed herself, shaking her head as she put a hand on Lottie's shoulder. Micha'el saw a flicker of sadness wave over Lottie, making him step forward without realising. In the same moment Lottie noticed, then smiled at Isabelle, nodding her goodbye before returning to Tsuna and Micha'el. She smiled, tilting her head at them and said "I asked if she had seen anything like the illness in Magic Earth - she said no." Then, as an afterthought, she said "sorry - Tsuna. Hey, have you thought about what might have caused that green magic that saved you yesterday?"
I, I keep a record of the wreckage of my life I gotta recognize the weapon in my mind They talk s**t, but I love it every time And I realize
I'm no sweet dream, but I'm a hell of a night That I'm no sweet dream, but I'm a hell of a night

Tsuna MikiNyru knew he wasn't going to break down her defenses and gave into her demand reluctantly. Since the Harrowsteed were kept west to the city they'd need to travel horseback to get there and the preparations would take an hour. Tsuna had no choice to wait and nodded abruptly at the comment about the keys. Claudia meet Nyru's gaze as they were leaving hearing Lottie pull Isabelle aside behind her. While Isabelle was distracted, Claudia looked to Nyru and subconsciously replied, "Stay on your guard. They made be children, but we are definitely underestimating them." She could tell by Tsuna's mannerisms that she had already suspected something of them and was putting up a front on purpose. The others will follow suite and rely on their teammates wisdom and guidance. As for Lottie conversing with Isabelle, she seemed nervous at first but dove into a private conversation easily. Tsuna couldn't hear her even with her acute hearing and looked between her two friends. Micha'el was actually jealous of Isabelle's strength and confront that she gave to Lottie. She knew he could provide that to her and much more, but for some reason she sought Isabelle's counsel instead. After a look of surprise from Isabelle and a sad quip from Lottie, Isabelle affirmed to her what she needed to know before leaving. Micha'el noticed her plight immediately and went to her as she turned to them with a small reassuring smile. Rejoining them, she reiterated what she had asked Isabelle which cause Tsuna to go numb. So far no news or information has been good and she felt like she was at the end of her rope. Lottie once again asked about the magic from yesterday causing Tsuna to automatically shake her head. "I'm working on it, but nothing comes to mind."
Tsuna trailed off sadly as she headed to the kitchen. Since they had time to spare, she assumed all of them were hungry and started digging through the pantry for food. Eventually, she stumbled upon some precured meats, cheese, bread, and a couple of more delicacies that needed little preparation. Slicing up what she could, she laid the food out and the team dug in. Tsuna then got up and began to look for drinks when she happened to stumble onto the liquor cabinet. "No wonder Isabelle brought up that story about being sloshed, this thing is stalked to the brim!" Tsuna absentmindedly grabbed a decorative green bottle and brought it over to her teammates. "How about this one? Kind of looks like something Solomon would drink." She started to laugh when an epiphany came to her. "A flash of green light! Solomon! Why didn't I think of it before!" She turned to Micha'el almost dropping the bottle and pointed. "Magic!! You can sense it with your Aria right!?" Tsuna honestly didn't know much about his Aria, but assume he had some tricks up his sleeve.

I just wanted you to be my brother... ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▒▒Micha'el Maues▒▒▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄
I was listenin' to the ocean I saw a face in the sand But when I picked it up Then it vanished away from my hands, dah
I had a dream, I was seven Climbin' my way in a tree I saw a piece of Heaven Waitin' in patience for me, dah
But no, take me home Take me home where I belong
But I kept runnin' for a soft place to fall And I kept runnin' for a soft place to fall
Nyru returned Claudia's comment with a firm stare, he should definitely be careful, and perhaps he was wasn't paying it enough attention. Just as Claudia said, they're kids, and thats not a good enough reason to down-play their ability. He couldn't help but wonder if Team Elixir were like this when they first got together.
As the others left, Micha'el and Lottie followed Tsuna solemnly to the kitchen. Lottie couldn't help but feel at home immediately, the place reminded her of her childhood home, in England, before she was forced to move in with her Uncles, and separated from her sister. She wondered how Lily was doing, she was due to perform in Entei around about now. Micha'el pulled out a stall and leaned on the counter, followed by Lottie, who watched Tsuna rummage around for snacks, which she was quite successful at. She brought out a smorgasbord of Declasian food, which Micha'el dug into whilst Lottie slowly found the pieces she thought she might like. When Tsuna pulled out a bottle, he felt the need to worry, but quickly overcame that as she assumed they would all be sampling it. "Sure" he said, surprising himself. As he reached for a glass Tsuna exclaimed something about the green light, jumping him. "Christ, Tsuna!" Micha'el pushed his glass away, heavens forbid he drop it. Lottie stared at her, "what?" Tsuna turned to Micha'el stating the green flash must have been Solomon, and so she naturally asked him if he could try and sense it. Micha'el stumbled for words. "Uh- yeah, yeah. It can." He pushed all the food before him out of the way so that he could summon his Aria, placing it firmly on the counter before him. It magically opened with a wave of his hand, pages delicately stopping at a specific section only Micha'el could read. "Stand still" he asked calmly, raising his hand. There was a faint white glow that turned to white essence, licking his fingertips as they wisped away and caressed Tsuna's before dissipating. Eventually the essence was drawn to her hand. "Mhm" Micha'el nodded with confirmation "there's an enchantment on you, well, its more deep rooted - on your hand. I think..." he let out a sigh, "I can't sense anything else, its masked... I-" Micha'el looked down at his Aria, where the silvery lines on porcelain parchment began to fade and make way for fault blue markings, like stardust. Micha'el felt the guidance of the stars again, and focused. There! He felt the thrum of energy, then the enchantment on Tsuna disclosed itself further. "Its mostly divination in nature - but there's also a slither of abjuration too, left behind from the battle I assume." "Is it Solomon?!" Lottie asked, leaning over the counter to try and get a better look at Tsuna's hand as Micha'el's magic faded. "I don't know. I can't force it to do anything, and I could barely decipher its construction. But... whatever it is, someone is watching over Tsuna." Lottie looked to her friend, unsure of how Tsuna might feel about this information. "They might know that I did that" Micha'el added as an after thought.
I was painting a picture The picture was a painting of you And for a moment I thought you were here But then again, it wasn't true, dah
And all this time I have been lyin' Oh, lyin' in secret to myself I've been putting sorrow on the farthest place on my shelf La-di-da

Tsuna MikiAfter practically scaring the wits out of Micha'el, almost making him drop his own glass, he fumbled around for his Aira. Placing the dense book firmly on the table, he waved a hand over it. Magically it opened and filtered through pages until he stopped on one that only he could interrupt. He commanded her to stand still which she did becoming mesmerizing by the faint glow of white essence emanating from his fingers before wisping away to carress her before dissipating. The source erupted from her hand and Micha'el attempted to dig deeper, but was blocked by whatever enchantment was upon her. Glancing down into his Aria again, the silvery lines of the porcelain parchment faded and began making way for cosmic blue marking resembling stardust. Concentrating harder, he determined the source was divination as well as abjuration as possible results from the battle earlier. Tsuna stared at her hand as Lottie appeared more interesting wondering if it was Solomon's work just as the magic began to fade. Micha'el still couldn't pinpoint the exact makeup, but confirmed that she was protected and that the protector may have caught onto him. Tsuna's amazement slowly transformed into a smirk then a cackling laugh. "That sly b*****d! I shook his hand that night as the ball before I said goodbye. My troublesome reputation must have had him and the others worried." She couldn't help, but feel loved and hide her emerging tears by grabbing the bottle and taking a long swig out of it. Putting it down loudly onto the table, she announced confidently, "We are going to solve this mystery, damnit! I'm not going to let him show me up!" Of course, Solomon's intentions were far from a contest, but Tsuna needed some kind of motivation to keep her going. She got ready to take another swig liking the taste of whatever liquor was in the bottle.
