WWFG in an exciting place. With it's debut on Netflix approaching there has been alot of news involving old and new stars alike. With WWFG now opening up to a larger audience there is a lot of speculation on how this will affect the stories moving forward
- There is a lot of optimism from the back as they consider this debut the start of a new era. With the shades of Apex behind us, the office is considering to show case a newer generation of wrestlers.
The debut is set to introduce some new faces, and reestablish a few long term wrestlers into their new format.
Fitt Finlay was seen talking to Staff Member Meltzer in a conference room. The topic of their meeting went unknown but it took up countless hours and catering has confirmed that 4 pizzas were ordered for the duo.
In response to the upcming debut, layoffs have been reported as old contracts have been allowed to go to expiration with multiple wrestlers being let go. Wrestlers affected. -
- Portia Portlandia's contract and visa have both expired. She was seen once again in the Brazilian power slap leagues, at a lower level after her embarassing loss to Thelka
Mrs. Sex 3 Year contract has finally expired. A lot of controversy around WWFG's budget and wreckless spending has centered around this acquisition. The sniper angle was divisive as many thought Creative was going too far
Rosario's veteran contract is under termination after a continuation of no shows to TV and House shows. His commitment to WWFG has been questioned since the dissolution of the handicap tag division. Talks have been made on finding good creative for him but the two entities have finally split ways. Rosario has made a statement.
"It's simple. The money didn't match how bad the creative was. I was working with wrestlers who didn't value the industry. I'm here to build the business and make wrestling what it should be. Mat work. They put Dean Johnson on the bench and that was it. Instead I'm supposed to work with a client who defaulted on every payment. Manager's take a fee, I have to feed my family, instead I was expected to go to work and feed a kids ego! I think it's time to go back to the indies and not have to rehash old stories. Follow the money"
As the of the date of this report, Rosario has not resigned with any indies.
Dean Johnson's contract is reported still on the table. The very public battle with cancer his kid had has kept him away from the ring. No rumors have surfaced on a return.
In other news The Lakers have been very happy with their acquiring of a past WWFG performer. Is there room for other WWFG alumni to become succesful outside of the ring? The cleavand Browns have been reported to think so.
WWFG creative is reportedly very happy with Masons Black's involvement in FG. A contract extension has been offered but is it too soon?
WWFG Premiers on Netflix at 6pm est on January 6th. Be sure to tune in and be apart of the excitement yourself!
