Liio and Elna were continuing their travel rounds, and were getting closer to where there parents were. He wanted to make sure he brought a gift or two for his mother, and recommended they stop at a shop and see if they could find something. However this settlement was small, and he wasn't confident he'd find the right gift.
Maybe Elna's eye would help ensure they didn't get anything too...chaotic. Or if they did, it would work for his father, who would probably find it entertaining more than anything.
