" General Chaaaaaaaaaaaalc! Take me hooooooooooooome! To the plaaaaaaaaaaaace! I beloooooooooooong!" The door to General Chalcanthite's office burst open as a young lieutenant belted out her request. A not unusual occurrence in this section of the Castle's offices. Her General was pretty well known for like, being all about the music. From his magic stuff to his civilian job, the guy stepped to the literal beat of his own literal drum. Brassite was pretty sure they were going to start a band once he had enough capable underlings to go about it. " Destiny City! I got schoolwork ~ ! Take me hooooome, General Cha-hey wait who the heck are you?" Finally noticing that it was some lady instead of her Big Braided Bossman, Brassite cut off her singing to boogle at the woman in confusion.

Ako was waiting for her commander in his office, having come with him for some errand or another. She was lost in thought as she looked around the office, though abruptly brought back to reality at the sound of a loud, creative rendition of Country Roads. She couldn't help the upward quirk of her lips at the lyrics, definitely finding it amusing. As the door burst open, she jumped a bit and turned to face the newcomer. "Sorry, Chalcanthite stepped out for a moment to handle something. I'm Sailor Ako, to answer your question." While her speech was formal, the amused smile wasn't even bothered to be hidden. Aside from Chalcanthite himself, she hadn't really met anyone that belonged to his team yet, and she wondered if this boisterous person might be a teammate. The mental image of the two together made her smile more, feeling as if this person and Chal's personalities were like night and day.

"I'm Brassite! Howdyado!" The lieutenant held out her hand for what she considered a very professional and business-like shake. She hadn't seen this lady around, like, at all. Was she new? or was she out on a special mission. Man, Brassite couldn't wait until she go on special missions which sounded an awful like paid vacations to other countries. "I was just needing to hop on the Chalcancarpool to get back home." For a moment she looked a little put out, thought of something and squinted at the senshi's uniform. "I still can't tell y'alls uniforms apart for s**t, are you a level one senshi or a level two senshi that can do a teleport?"

"Ah. Level one, sorry." Ako shook the extended hand, her grip firm but light. "I'm not even overly sure what differences there are between basic and super senshi, visually speaking. Can't say I've ever paid overly much attention to it myself." Not that she really had much in the way of experience to draw from anyways on that subject, but Brassite didn't need to know that. "You're very..... vibrant. Personality wise, that is. It's refreshing. I had thought most people around here would be stuffy or serious. It's nice to see someone so unabashedly lively. It makes me hopeful of meeting more friendly faces." She fell back into an old speech pattern of formality as she spoke, trying to feel out the person before her. Unlike the few others she had met, she truly couldn't get a good read of Brassite. Not yet at least, outside of the almost childlike energy to her. "I... recently joined the team and am still learning names and faces and social protocol. It's all... quite a lot." She idly wondered just how long Brassite had been with the negaverse, working under Chalcanthite, but was unsure if it was rude or not to ask. lizbot Sorry! I 110% meant to reply to this but apparently misplaced the tab it was open in til now!

It wasn’t her first time meeting an adult who seemed even more unfamiliar with all this magic stuff than her, but the novelty of it still hadn’t worn off. It was a little weird, but like…a good kind of weird. It made her look forward to ranking up and getting some underlings of her own. Given the rarity of teens in the castle, she’d get to boss around adults most of the time! Though maybe she wouldn’t boss around people like this Sailor Ako, who really knew how to recognize a high quality lieutenant like Brassite. “Oh wow, you’re like, super good at seeing people’s cool points, huh? Well you just keep at it and I’m sure you’ll do great here. You picked a really good team!” Brassite preened a little and tried not to sound too smug. “Well, since Chalc ain’t here, then I’ll introduce you to my Option 2.” Taking the senshi’s hand, the girl tugged her out of the office and into the hallway. “I just saw her filling some cookie trays on my way here. She’s always around doing something. I think she might just live here, some are like that, though. Like it’s free rent, and once you can teleport, you don’t have to worry about having a car, either. I kinda like the idea of off the grid, sometimes. Might try it after I graduate. Anyway Hastybra is like, the senshi of maids? So she’s always cleaning, and like, she’ll always help you no matter what. She’s kinda creepy sometimes? But will have snacks if you need them. Oh look, see that guy? His weapon is like, super weird it’s like an attack yo-yo. Uber Queen Metallia just loves ********’ with people and getting them to fight like an improv clown show. I think she must have a pretty good sense of humor, right?” The teen prattled on with various bits of gossip and not especially respectful opinions.

Ako definitely liked the girl, she decided. She was spirited and vibrant and something about her seemed to life Ako's mood. She smiled and nodded as she listened to Brassite, laughing softly. "Chalcanthite is actually the one who found me, rather than me picking where to go. But even so, I'm glad I ended up where I did. I feel happy and... content." In truth, she felt like a weight had been lifted from her, despite not remembering what that weight had been. She smiled and let Brassite take her by the hand, following her easily. Her heeled boots clicked on the floor as she walked beside the lieutenant, long legs easily keeping up. "People live here? That's really good that there's somewhere for them to stay. I know that I was pretty lucky in terms of Chalcanthite giving me a place to live for now, but I can't imagine it's the same for everyone else who gets brought into this. It's good to know that there's at least somewhere for them to stay if they need to."The mention of a maid senshi made Ako perk up, her mind going back to her meeting with the strange man who was literally on fire. "Is she the one with Faustite? Or is this a different senshi maid?" She didn't think to use his title. It was something she wasn't used to, and "general-king" was a bit of a mouthful, after all. She laughed softly though as Brassite pointed out different people and gave her various opinions and tidbits of information. "An improv clown show. That's actually hilarious when you put it like that." Her eyes sparkled with thinly veiled laughter. "You really are a breath of fresh air, Brassite. I think I can see why Chalcanthite likes you." Though she could see him maybe getting a headache from the girl, she also thought that she might be refreshing to him as well.

"He found me too!" Brassite beamed over at Ako. "He saw me about to kill this like, super bad and gross guy? And was like, Hey gurl, there's a better way." Throwing out some jazz hands, she went on, "And so here I am! He's really got an eye for talent." With a vague gesture in what might be the direction of the Castle's front doors, the girl explained, "There's a big bunk house, but you get your own room and everything, so probably better than most dorms? Anyway, the Negaverse is all about taking care of it's people what with affordable housing, schooling, steady pay, a whole hospital for healthcare...like, it's a really solid employer that knows how to take care of its people, right?" She was about to start in on all the gossip about General King Faustite's harem, and how General King Jett didn't have one but has an angel-faced hubby that was straight out of Real Housewives in her opinion. But then there was a fairly short figure flitting around a large reception room in a twirl of ruffles and long black hair. behind her, a balloon like creature floated along slowly, pushed by its tiny bat wings. "Yep, there she is! Faustite's senshi of Maids." She waved at the woman who paused in fussing at a wreath and turned toward them with a tiny smile, reminiscent of what one might find on a haunted doll.

"I was... at a very dark point in my life. He offered me a chance to start over and to not hurt anymore. It was the kindness that I had needed for a very long time, I think. All I know is that I don't feel that crushing ache anymore, and that I could not possibly be more thankful to him." She smiled warmly as she thought of the genuinely incredible opportunity that Chalcanthite had given her, truly thankful beyond what words could express. Ako laughed softly, admiring Brassite's energy and excitement. "Seems I was quite lucky to have crossed paths with you, Brassite. You seem to know just about everyone and whos doing what. You're quite good at that, and I admire it." Though it may have sounded like flattery, the senshi was giving a genuine compliment. "I also admire your energy. I look forward to working along side of you in the future."

Whoa, Brassite though. Chalc really got to this girlie in a big way. As expected of her boss! He wasn't really one for pulling starseeds, but he sure was good at grabbing hearts! "Yeah, this place is all about like, being your truest self! If you ever need advice, I'm here! I'll even give you a discount. Oh, here she comes, whenever you need a ride back or want like, some cookies or your room cleaned or something, just ask her." The maid senshi had quietly approached, "Do you need assistance returning home, Lieutenant Brassite?" "Yeah! Let's go, I've got homework to finish! Nice meeting you Ako!"
