Gosh it was cold. She rushed home from a hunt a little faster when they realized the biting cold wasn't letting up, which meant the beasts would hide in their burrows. Maybe she could do something else to keep warm, or at least spend some time with her family.

He had just finished repairs, and his fingers her numb. This was a strange chill, and the hybrid decided he would go home and keep his windows sealed until this strange cold had passed. He was just arriving home when he saw a flash of his sister's bright hair, and he waved her in.
