They’re small, rarely larger than a guinea pig, and have large eyes and wiggling noses. They are always pure white and seem to show up whenever there’s snow. They aren't menacing or evil, they're just everywhere. They seem strangely domesticated; they are sweet, curious, and friendly creatures that will eat anything you give them. They always seem cold to the touch, and when they shake, little snowflakes sprinkle off of them. While they seem to be social creatures who seem to appreciate anything warm and will cuddle up to steal body heat, they are too skittish and fast to be kept for pets. They can show up just about anywhere, either alone or--often--in pairs. They tend to wander off on their own without any trouble, but if you surprise them or try to catch or hurt them, they may bite. Their little teeth are enough to break skin, but after one bite they run away. The bite itself isn’t bad, but the effects are a bit unpleasant: for roughly two days after the bite, the injury is cold and the victim will feel random, cold, shooting pains. Their core body temperature will drop and they will often be sent into random fits of shivering. No medicine seems to help, and no amount of blankets or hot baths can soothe the chill. You're just going to have to deal with it and hope it gets better… Most experiences with the bunnies are perfectly pleasant, you just have to worry about them burrowing. There are holes peppering Destiny City, and with the fresh fallen snow it can be impossible to tell where they are hiding. The holes range from small holes to several feet deep, so can be a minor inconvenience to a potential hazard. On the bright side, sometimes you wind up covered in bunnies looking for warmth from their sudden guest. On the other hand, there are a rising number of trips to the hospital for twists and sprains. The bunnies always leave with the snow, so best to enjoy them--or avoid them--for as long as you can.
The recent happenings made her stressed but the snow seemed to just help her stress melt away. She was watching as the snow softly fell the noise was just comforting and suddenly she noticed a bunny. "Ohhhhh hi there." She said softly at the critter.
She knelt down so that the bunny would have an easier time coming over to her, "You're so cute!" She wasn't expecting another bunny or other people to be out, so she was just lost in the cuteness of the one which just hopped up to her like it was just fine being petted.

Isolde pulled her scarf tighter around her neck as she trudged through the park, boots crunching softly in the fresh snow. She loved the quiet beauty of winter but wasn’t a fan of the biting cold. Still, the sight of snow-laden trees and the gentle hush of the world was enough to make her venture out. Her attention was drawn to a cluster of small holes peppering the path ahead. Just as she was about to investigate, a flash of white darted past her feet. Startled, she froze, eyes widening as she spotted the tiny snow bunny nibbling on a patch of frost-covered grass. “Whoa…” she whispered, crouching down. She’d heard about these strange creatures but hadn’t expected to see one up close. As she watched, another bunny hopped into view—and then another. Her breath caught in awe as they started to surround her, each one shaking off tiny snowflakes with every wiggle. “Okay, this is officially the cutest invasion ever,” she murmured, trying to stay still so as not to spook them. That’s when she noticed someone else nearby, a girl kneeling in the snow with a bunny happily nestled near her. Isolde hesitated for a moment, then offered a small wave. “Looks like they like you,” she called out, her voice friendly but tentative.

Zoya smiled over towards Isolde as she was joined by the other. "Aren't they adorable?" Zoya said in a hushed voice trying not to scare them off. She grinned softly "I think they like you too!" She added as she settled down.
She was scratching behind the bunnies ears as she watched them hop around and noticed how chilly they were when she touched them, "I wonder why they're so cold." She mused looking at the bunnies as they joined the two girls the longer they sat there.
"I feel like I should've brought a blanket to sit on." Zoya was dressed warm but not warm enough to chill on the ground beside the bunnies.

Isolde couldn’t help but smile as she watched Zoya scratching behind the bunny’s ears. “Adorable doesn’t even begin to cover it,” she agreed in a soft voice, her breath visible in the cold air. She shifted her position to sit cross-legged in the snow, carefully avoiding any of the tiny creatures. One of the bunnies hopped closer to her, its little nose twitching inquisitively. “I don’t know why they’re so cold,” she admitted, lightly brushing her gloved fingers against the bunny’s fur. The chill made her shiver. “But I’ve never seen anything like them before. It’s like they’re little snow spirits or something.” Glancing at Zoya, she noticed the other girl adjusting her position in the snow and chuckled lightly. “Yeah, a blanket would’ve been a good idea. Though if these little guys keep piling up, I think we’ll have our own bunny blanket soon.” She gently gestured to the growing number of fluffy creatures gathering around them. Realizing she hadn’t introduced herself yet, Isolde added, “I’m Isolde, by the way. Not exactly how I thought I’d spend my afternoon, but… I’m not complaining.” Her tone was light and friendly, her smile warm despite the cold.

Zoya was more than thrilled to make a new friend over adorable bunnies no less. She grinned, "Yeah it really doesn't describe them quite right."
She really didn't think there was a word that would describe how cute she thought the bunnies were. When she found a decent seated position the bunnies around her had gathered closer, one looking into her lap. Zoya was trying to think if she had anything she could feed the bunnies but came up a little short on food options.
"They must be snow sprites. I've heard rumors they only come out when it snows." She added as she had as a chibi heard mention of them maybe years ago before her brother was corrupted? She couldn't recall really how long ago it was, the recent years events seemed to whizz by and caused a lost of time.
She chuckled a bit thinking about a bunny blanket, "That would be fine if they weren't so cold to the touch, that doesn't mean they'd warm us up."
There was another smile and a nod hello when other introduced herself, "Glad to meet you Isolde, I'm Zoya!" There was a small hum as she listened to the other say she didn't expect to spend her day this way, "I really didn't either but I saw this cuties and couldn't pass up saying hello."

Isolde chuckled softly at Zoya’s excitement, her breath curling in the cold air. “Snow sprites—it’s a good name for them. They definitely feel like they belong in some fairy tale.” She glanced down at the bunny nestled closest to her and couldn’t help but smile as it sniffed at the edge of her scarf. She pulled off one of her gloves, wincing slightly at the bite of cold air, and carefully reached into her coat pocket. “Let’s see… ah, jackpot,” she said, pulling out a granola bar. She broke off a small piece and offered it to one of the bunnies, who eagerly nibbled on it. “Not exactly gourmet, but they seem happy with it. Want to try?” She held out a piece toward Zoya, grinning. The mention of Zoya’s name made her nod. “It’s nice to meet you, Zoya. And, yeah, I couldn’t resist either. They’re just…” She paused, looking around at the tiny snow bunnies hopping through the powdery snow. “...too magical to ignore.”

Zoya beamed as the other said snow sprites was a good name for the bunnies, "They really do, they're so adorable - I'd take one home if I knew it'd go with me and not melt or something."
She was still petting one of the closest ones softly, "I think that'd be terrible though for these, they don't seem like they'd do good as house pets so getting to visit them out here is good enough."
She watched as Isolde pulled off a glove and took out a granola bar offering them some of it. "Oh, that's a good idea! I'd love to try it!"
She hadn't thought about feeding them, to be fair, it wasn't the forethought since they were snow bunnies. But them eating was also important she took some of the offered Granola. And then too offered it to the nearest bunny.
"They are too magical to ignore, it's one of the things that makes me glad to live in this city." She admitted as she sat there letting the bunny eat out of her hand, "You never know what's next and everything has some element of magic to it. Good or bad. I don't know that you'd find that elsewhere."

solde smiled at Zoya’s enthusiasm. “Yeah, I’d be tempted to take one home too. But you’re probably right—they seem happier out here, being free to do their snow bunny thing. Besides,” she added with a grin, “imagine explaining a bunny that shakes snowflakes off itself every time it moves. Definitely a conversation starter.” As the bunny nearest her finished nibbling the granola, it gave a small shake, sending a delicate flurry of snowflakes into the air. Isolde laughed softly, brushing a few off her sleeve. “I guess they’re full of surprises.” Hearing Zoya’s thoughts about the city made Isolde tilt her head thoughtfully. “You’re right. Destiny City really does have a… unique vibe, doesn’t it?” She paused, watching another bunny wiggle its way into her lap. “Sometimes it feels like there’s magic hidden in the most unexpected places. Like today. I wasn’t expecting to find bunnies, let alone meet someone new.” She gave Zoya a warm smile.

Zoya was glad she wasn't the only one who'd had the temptation to take one home. She chuckled, "Yes, and then having to clean up the snowflakes. I suppose that might be better than cleaning rabbit poop but it'd leave a lot of soggy areas."
Zoya watched the bunny nearest Isolde finish its granola and shake off snowflakes from it's body. She chuckled and watched her own bunny finish nibbling on the snack as well. Watching a couple find their way into her lap sniffing for perhaps more treats.
Zoya seemed thoughtful and dug into her pocket to see what she had, mostly it was peppermints but there was a packet of blue berries, "Oh I forgot I had brought some blue berries. I was hoping they'd like them." She offered one to the bunnies and then offered the bag to Isolde.
When the other said the city had a rather unique vibe Zoya nodded, "It does indeed." There was a grin, "I know and making a new friend is always magical!" Obviously if they were bonding over snow bunnies, then they were clearly already friends.

Isolde laughed at Zoya’s comment about soggy floors. “You’re right, soggy spots all over the place might be worse. Plus, they seem like they’d miss the snow too much.” She glanced at the bunny now perched contentedly in her lap. “I mean, look at this one—it’s basically a snowflake with legs.”
Her gaze shifted to Zoya’s hands as she produced the packet of blueberries. “Blueberries? That’s perfect! They’re lucky you came prepared.” She took one of the offered berries with a smile and gently set it down in front of the bunny closest to her. “Let’s see if they’re picky eaters or not.”
When the bunny eagerly sniffed at the berry before nibbling it, Isolde gave a soft laugh. “Guess that’s a yes. Thanks for sharing!” She popped another berry down for the next bunny in line, the little creatures hopping closer with what could only be described as hopeful curiosity.
Isolde tilted her head slightly at Zoya’s comment about friendship, her smile softening. “You know, you’re right. Magical moments like this feel even better when you share them with someone.” She met Zoya’s grin with one of her own. “Guess I’ll have to thank these little guys for introducing me to my newest friend.”

Zoya chuckled, "I'd hate to be walking barefoot and step in a puddle that had just been snow. Not to mention the floors wouldn't last long if they kept getting soggy."
There was a nod when Isolde said they were just a big snowflake with legs, "They really are!"
She was petting one while dropping berries in front of a couple more bunnies that were close, watching them nibble down the berries happily. "I don't think they're that picky, could probably offer them any thing eatable and they'd gobble it at this point."
Zoya nodded, "You're welcome! And thank you for sharing the granola!" She hummed a Christmas tune, "I honestly wouldn't've thought about offering them granola."
There was larger smile when Isolde said that magical moments like these were better with friends and agreed they were now friends. "Ahah awesome, oh would you like to get some Hot Chocolate or Apple Cider after we finish with the bunnies? There's a little pop up shop down the way with some. It'd help warm us up." While she was bundled nicely the bunnies were totally making her colder than just the snow and wind. And the thought of hot chocolate was a welcome thought right now.

Isolde chuckled at Zoya’s comment about the soggy floors. “Yeah, barefoot puddles are the worst. I think I’ll stick to enjoying these guys in their natural habitat.” She watched the bunnies munching happily on the berries Zoya provided and gave a satisfied nod. “You’re probably right—they’d eat just about anything. Still, they’re surprisingly polite about it. None of that aggressive pigeon energy.” When Zoya brought up the idea of hot chocolate or apple cider, Isolde’s eyes lit up. “That sounds perfect. I could definitely use something warm right about now.” She glanced down at the bunnies nestled around them and smiled. “Once we’ve spoiled these guys enough, let’s go check it out. I’m all for making this a snow day to remember.” She carefully stood, brushing snow off her coat as a few bunnies darted away with little hops. Offering Zoya a hand to help her up, she added, “And who knows? Maybe the shop has something to celebrate our new bunny-inspired friendship.” LP Thank you so much. There was a curious look as Zoya watched them eat, "I'm glad they don't have that aggressive pigeon energy; I don't want to turn the bunnies into something you'd see from Monty Python."
"Awesome~! I do enjoy a good cup of hot cocoa and maybe some sugar cookies or cake." She chuckled and when Isolde got up Zoya softly moved the bunnies from her lap so she could stand as well. Taking Isolde's offered hand to help her up, "I'm sure there's an ornament shop if not or I think they had a themed photo booth set up!" She chuckled, "Maybe they have snowflake bunny ears!"
Getting to enjoy the rest of the day with her new friend was exciting and a welcomed break from her normal routine. Surely the shops would have snow bunny merch with how popular the little guys were.
