Hobbies: Digital Art -- Chi has had a love of drawing since she was able to pick up a crayon at the age of two. From there she became a self-taught artist that now takes commissions when she can for traditional and digital art. She has her own desk set up with her pc and drawing tablet that she is usually sitting at when she’s not out and about.
Writing -- Writing is Chi’s third love, next to reading. She likes to write original stories and has dabbled in fanfiction writing. However she has found that she isn't too fond of fanfiction writing because of the limitation with characters. It's a bit hard to keep a character true to what the original author had and at that point she would rather create her own.
Reading -- Chi’s second love. She's rarely seen without a book in her hands, be it for school or for casual reading. She loves the fantasy genre while her least favorite is romance. She blames the early reading of Harlequin novels when she was younger. Complete and utter trash in her opinion.
Virtues: Logical -- If there is one thing Chi values about herself, it's the fact that she can think logically and with a cool head in most situations. That's not to say there isn't some sass here and there but she usually tends to think about things from a different perspective. It helps alot when it comes to school and essays.
Creative -- Chi has always had a more active imagination than her brothers. From an early age she was always coming up with different fantasy worlds and characters that she would write and draw. The creatures that she comes up with for the worlds she creates are her real bread and butter. She loves to draw various versions of them as well as come up with new species that she can use as a sort of breedables set on deviant art. Granted, the animals are exclusive and she rarely releases new ones but she has found a small amount of people that enjoy her creations as much as she does.
Focused -- Whenever she needs to buckle down, Chi can do this with no issue. In elementary school she was often praised for how she could pay attention to everything. Reciting word for word was something she could not do, but summaries were usually the next option. Being so focused has helped her with schoolwork and especially working on projects. Better to finish things ahead of time than to dally around and risk submitting a late report.
Flaws:.
Stubborn -- Once Chi has her mind made up, it's very hard to convince her otherwise. There are times where even her family gets annoyed with the way she just digs her heels in and attempts to die on the hill she is currently standing on. This has resulted in arguments with her two brothers, sometimes people coming to a different conclusion about her that is the exact opposite of who she really is. Needless to say, the phrase ‘stubborn as a mule’ applies here.
Over Analyzing -- Very much in the ways of an AI from Halo, when it comes to most topics Chinara likes to think about all the ins and outs of how said topic or conversation topic will go. This type of thinking causes her to constantly run in circles when looking for an answer or an appropriate reply. Sometimes she will get so caught up in her thoughts that the world will blur itself around her and she is unable to focus on anything else. Like Cortana in Halo, Chi’s friends like to say she can and will “think herself to death” if she isn't stopped.
Self-Conscious -- When it comes to certain things about her (meaning her body, or her lack of experience in certain things) Chi tends to get extremely uncomfortable and can feel like she doesn't belong in her own skin. Usually this feeling happens whenever she's trying something new, or wearing something that reveals too much of her body. Chi has been told over the years that she is overweight and has dealt with bullies in the past in regards to her body, weight, and intellect. As much as she tries, getting rid of feeling like she's not enough or that she could always lose more never leaves.
